We really enjoyed our stay at Summerwind. The beach was wonderful, if crowded, and the condo was just as advertised. One elevator was being worked on part of the week, which was an inconvenience since we were o. The 12th floor. The kids loved the pool and hot tub.

We go to the beach in this area on an annual basis and always stay in beachfront condos. We love to fish and absolutely loved the location of this resort (right next to the longest fishing pier in the gulf)! However, and a BIG however, we were SO very disappointed to arrive to horrible, extremely loud construction noise and a closed balcony!! No where in the listing was this disclosed or even mentioned of. When we called the property manager, we were told this was a fault of VRBO (for not disclosing known renovations), and then when we called VRBO, we were told the property owner/manager (or whoever it was that created the listing on VRBO) was soley responsible for the property description, as VRBO has a strict policy in not ammending listings. So we call the property manager back, only to be met with an unbelievable attitude and a "you should've checked the property's main website," despite the fact we booked through VRBO and very extensively reviewed the listing THEY crafted. At that point we went to the property website and still had an extremely hard time finding anything at all about such major renovations that were known about about by property owners. You literally had to dig to find a little snippet about it. Anyway, their offer to rectify things was to try and find us a single HOTEL room (mind you the codo we rented was a 3 bedroom), and it wouldn't be beachfront!! Of course we declined. We were simply disgusted with the customer service and lack of transparency.

This has to be the absolute worse place we've ever stayed. It started with being locked out of the unit for over two hours while the managing company tried to figure out how to get us back in and it just continued to worsen from there. The floors were dirty with sand, dirt, and dust. The sheets in the guest room were inside out (were they really clean or just flipped???), and master bedroom sheets were sandy. The kitchen was roach infested. Every time we would try to cook something in the kitchen, we were killing small roaches. The kitchen utensils were still dirty with food... As much as we love Navarre Beach and staying at Summerwind Resort, we will never stay here again nor recommend to anyone.

Everything was great except for the fact that we could not access balcony for entire visit. I am all about upkeep and maintenance, but the project was obviously already planned and wasn't divulged until after reservation was made and non refundable deposit was submitted. There is a clause in contract that mentions construction, but company should make customers aware if there is one already planned. This would have been a deal breaker for my family. Our view was cables and ropes in front of beautiful beach. Kitchen had roach problem, but was minor to us versus the balcony issue. We were not provided the correct number of wrist bands or any parking passes. When i called, the representatives were very nice, but unable to help us due to HOA being over construction project. We were able to obtain parking pass on the last day. As someone who’s been in customer service my entire career, i would have went about things differently and informed customer of plans and made sure they were taken care of. We made good memories at the beach, but very disappointed with balcony issue.

The property was spotless! Beds and couch super comfy! The view from the balcony was stunning allowing full view of Sunrises and beach. Would stay here again and again!!

Awesome place could have been a little cleaner one elevator was already out of service then the other broke but it was only down for maybe an hour before they had it back up and running OVERALL GREAT PLACE AND GREAT MANAGEMENT THANK U VERY MUCH!!!!

Great condo with amazing views of the beach! The unit was very clean and had no issues. Hope to come back next year and make more memories!

I will never use a property that uses this management company ever again.

The home was beautiful!!!

While the condo itself was great, the building and complex are showing their age. One of the two elevators in the building was not working during our four day visit and there was a water main break connected to the three tower complex. The views from the condo were tremendous.

Everything was great, the family loved the stay.

Overall it was good

The property location was great and exactly what we were hoping for. Property itself was very clean, but could use some minor repairs (fresh paint, new screen door, and other small fixes) to maximize it.

Spacious, kitchen super big, all we needed was food. Loved that there was a washer dryer.

The condo was lovely, clean and fresh. Furniture was in great shape. Location couldn't have been better. We'll definitely be back!

The property was nice, though could have been cleaner. Our grandson, who is 18, has Spina Bifida and crawls from place to place. The tops of his feet and his knees were usually dirty. We were only there for 4 days, but this took place as of Day 1. There was also plumbing noises in the walls. We had someone come to check it out because it also happened in the middle of the night, but unfortunately there was nothing to be done as it was in the infrastructure of the building.

We loved the condo! It was clean and in a great location!!

We enjoyed our stay here with Southern Vacation rental. Simple check in and check out. Overall we had a blast! Beside the washer was not working
