This house was great

We stayed at this property for 3 nights before we caught our cruise out of San Pedro. It was the most central location for us for what we wanted to do in those 3 days. When we arrived at the house everything looked as pictured. Having the gated entrance was nice. There is lots of room. There was 5 adults and 1 baby and we had plenty of room. Rooms were spacious, kitchen was beautiful even though we didn’t cook anything, there was a cute little back yard, nice porch area, overall great. The host was very easy to get ahold of. Especially when we needed an extra space heater. My only complaint was the cleanliness. We are from Canada so we don’t wear shoes in our hoses lol so we were kind of astonished to find the state of our feet and our baby’s hands and knees within just a few minutes. They were black. Luckily they had a swifter that I could mop the floors with. But still, a guest shouldn’t have to mop the floors of a house they are renting. The baseboards in the bathroom also needed some attention, they were pretty dirty. The linen and towels though were of no complaint. And the play pen was a great addition.

This property suited our needs for the two nights we stayed, but it would not have been a good pick for anything longer than that. As someone mentioned previously in their review, the kitchen is sparse, so don't plan on cooking any meals while you're there. We also had our 3-month-old with us and were told by the property owner that the property does not have a pack 'n' play. We ended up borrowing one from a friend in the area only to find that there was in fact a pack 'n' play in one of the closets. Other than that, the house was cold and drafty. The front door has a large gap at the bottom between the door and the door jamb. The faucet in the kitchen sink was missing the nozzle that regulates how much water comes out, so it gushed out unexpectedly when used. Be warned that the white coffee pot (not pictured) does not have an auto-off feature. The futon bed has a bar that runs right up the middle, which was very uncomfortable. Additionally, it's right up against the wall outlet that powers the internet, so take care not to bump it or the internet will go out. The bunk beds were squeaky and equally uncomfortable.

Overall the updated kitchen and baths as well as the hard flooring was well done. The carpets either need to be replaced asap or deep, DEEP cleaned. It would great to have the curtains close enough to cover all the window, there were gaps on all the windows. The kitchen does not have any window coverings. Now on to the supplies in the kitchen, there were only 4 knives, 4 forks, 4 spoons. There was dinnerware for 8 people. There were pots and pans, a coffee maker with filters, and some coffee. There were no mixing bowls. We were expecting more when it was advertised as "chef kitchen". We were never contacted by the property manager. We were NOT able to get onto the Wi-Fi. The network name/password were incorrect. We contacted the PM on the phone and she confirmed the incorrect Wi-Fi codes. We tried to log on again but nothing worked. We tried to contact her via phone and text but never got through. It was frustrating as we needed to have good Wi-fi to complete our48 Covid tests prior to the boarding our cruise. We did meet a very nice neighbor! The neighborhood is quiet and seemed safe.

We just loved staying here. Everything was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely home. Would stay here again. Saved us money on hotel rooms for our family. All could stay together.

beds are broken. It is only 3 bedroom house. AC does not work Bathrooms are horrible and everything is broken in bathroom. There are flies in the house This house is health hazard and should not be used for listing. My back hurts after sleeping here. I want my money back.
