Everything about this home was wonderful. The views were perfect, the location was perfect and the house was perfect. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, 2 sets of washers/dryers, 3 full sized refrigerators/freezers, and a separate ICE machine. It is a 3 story home and I had lots of exercise going up and down steps every day which had an added bonus of allowing us to eat a plentiful amount of food and lose weight at the same time. 😆 Master bed was extremely comfortable. Other beds are comfy if you prefer softer beds. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit South Padre.

Our family truly enjoyed our visit at the Salty Times property! The home is gorgeous and so convenient to the beach.

We had a great experience. The house was clean, spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of. It also included nice beach towels, extra linens, fans, air mattress, beach toys, chairs for the beach, wagon, cooler and more. The location was perfect. Steps away from the beach and a close to walk to several restaurants on the water, and souvenir shops. Also had a great view of the sunrise on the top floor balcony. The hosts were amazing to work with and responded immediately to our questions.

The property is at an excellent location. Short walk to beach and down town activities. Was nervous to stay during spring break but other than it being a little loud at night it was no problem at all. This property is perfect and has everything you need for your stay.

The house was just as beautiful as the pictures depicted. The weather during our stay wasn't very warm, but the heated pool and hot tub were a great way to enjoy the outdoors with our children and grandchildren. Salty Times location is so convenient for walking to multiple restaurants, stores and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the management staff to be very responsive and timely in replying to our questions. We would highly recommend this property to other families!

This was a great place to stay with everything one needs for a trip. The walk to the beach was short and no traffic. The rooms were nice, the place was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. The property manager was very responsive as well. I have already recommended this location to a few others.

Close to bay for sunsets and close to Gulf

Our family enjoyed our stay at the “Salty Water” house. It’s spacious, and in a great location close to beach, restaurants and shopping. We had a couple of windy, cooler days, but the pool, hot tub and game room provided fun alternatives to our “beach days”.

The property is in a perfect location, just one block from the beach. Within walking distance of any type of store or restaurant you could want to try. Property managers were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Will definitely be saving this location for a return trip!

Our stay was in short, simply amazing! This house was everything we could've ever wished for. It is in a perfect location, the beach is literally just a few steps away. One of the best perks was the private pool that kept us cool on the hot summer days. We had no issues whatsoever during our stay. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable time in SPI!

We frequently stay on the island and this was hands down the most impressive. Everything was so comfortable and the house had a feeling of peace. You have everything you could possibly need, they thought of everything. We will definitely stay here again! We had so much fun celebrating my birthday. Thank you for having us ❤️.

This house was perfect for our group of 10. It’s very spacious. The beds are comfortable. The pool was wonderful to hang out in after a day at the beach. We cooked every meal for 5 days there. They have a wonderful kitchen fully stocked with all the things you would need. Would definitely recommend Salty Times.

The whole experience staying at Salty Times was perfect! First off the pictures do no justice to the home, the house is beautiful, well decorated and was very clean. I loved how the balcony wrapped around the whole house. The house has EVERYTHING you will possibly need for your stay. Excellent communication! If I'm ever in South Padre this house will definitely be my first choice.

We were 8 adults working a corporate event in SPI and were so comfortable staying in this LOVELY home instead of sterile hotel rooms. BEAUTIFUL place and full of anything and everything to make our stay better than home!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property! Being able to go to the beach and hang out at the pool with all of our little ones (8 adults and seven kids under 7 yoa!) worked out very well. It would be nice to have a gate for the stairs. Also, we never saw a welcome packet. My family was a little worried about the metal plates and cups having rusty spots. We hope to come back again for another family gathering!

Great location with easy access to the beach, restaurants and activities!

The house and the pool & hot tub were amazing. The location was very convenient - close to the beach and to the shuttle service that runs on the main road. We had a group of 14 people - 8 adults and 6 kids - and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen had lots of dishes and cookware. We could have used a better frying pan, but made do with what was there. This is our third family vacation and everyone thought this one was the best so far! We would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay at Salty Times. The house was spacious and gave all of us many options for individual spaces and group fun. The guys loved the game room and the shuffleboard. The hot tub was great during that cold blast of winter. And tho the temps weren’t what was needed for a long day at the beach, the provisions for beach outings was awesome. Beautiful house! Great setting. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the island and location of the house. 3 min to the beach walking distance to lots of restaurants. The house sleeps lots of people and has great hang out space for the whole family.

Great experience for my family and I. Home has everything you need. Very clean, very comfortable, great location, beautiful views, plenty of space for the whole family. Pool and bbq área are great. My Family and I would love to stay here again.

1. The staircase down to the 2nd level and ground level was concerning. Need additional lighting so we could see the steps. Had 3 family members miss a step and fall. 2. When at the pool need to walk thru the bottom bedroom to use bathroom. Seems easy enough but with all the people we had there they are going through with all our personal belongings around. 3. Bathroom downstairs had a soap dispenser that was filled with wrong refill so had to uncap to use the hand soap. The dispenser was a foaming soap and the refill was just liquid. 4. Steep stairs on the outside down to the pool. 5. If u have older people - over 55 then reconsider this property. We would look for something easier to get around rather than levels and levels of stairs. 6. The fabulous part - minutes to walk to the beach. The pool was clean, cool water and refreshing. Kitchen was large enough so a lot of ppl can be in there preparing snacks and drinks. The dining room table is also very large to play card games and snack. A beautiful weekend at the beach.

We can not say enough about our stay at the SPI home of Jack and LuAnn Gilmore’s-known as J and L’s Salty Times. The home itself is beautiful, the access to the beach is great, and the customer service from their team is top notch! The house is equipped with everything anyone could possibly need while on vacation. We were so impressed with the openness of the home, as well as the super equipped kitchen, down to the beach towels provided for our stay. They did not miss a beat with providing everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms were nice and spacious. The master bedroom was very large with enough space for clothing to be hung in the walk in closet, as well as being furnished with a dresser and a wardrobe. One of our daughters also used our space for clothes as she was staying in the smaller room with bunk beds. The master bath was also amazing! The customer service while we were vacationing was one of the very best we have experienced! Amber gave us her direct phone number in case we needed anything. There were a few minor things we contacted her about, and she was on top of it! For example, the hot tub was not warming up to what it needed to. She had the person there to repair it in no time. While he was there he noticed the pool looked a little cloudy. He added what he needed to fix it right away.(all of this occurred while the family was enjoying the beach) The handle of the beach wagon was broken when we went to the beach the first day. It wasn’t long and there was a new wagon at the home for us to use. One more very minor thing. We were told there was a crock pot in the kitchen before we came. We were planning a meal that needed two crock pots, so when we could not find the one, Amber sent Bonnie to help look. She then asked my mom if she wanted to go to Walmart with her so Bonnie could purchase a new crock pot to have at the house. Not only was it amazing they bought the crock pot, but it was also very thoughtful to take my mom along with her. We absolutely loved staying at Jack and LuAnn’s home! We have been vacationing at SPI for many years, and this was the very first time the entire family stayed under one roof.(we’ve always stayed in separate condos) We enjoyed eating together at the large table and chairs after cooking some meals in the lovely kitchen. And the wrap around balconies…the views were the best! We can’t say thanks enough for helping to make our vacation so spectacular!!😍🏖☀️🌴

We had a great stay! Location was perfect right around the corner. Pool and hot tub were amazing! Pool was too hot the first day to get in but after a text they came and adjusted temperature right away. Master shower is beautiful but water pressure was too low. Water is hot as well. Wrap around balconies with great ocean views. We stayed 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend.

Salty Times was great for our family. It is very close to a beach access point. The house was clean when we arrived and everything was in good repair. Our only issue is that it did take a few hours for the upstairs floor to cool down. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with plenty of fridge space in the multiple refrigerators. The ample parking was appreciated. We would love to stay again!

Overall our stay was awesome, place is beautiful and enough room for everyone, we did have a few issues but were manage with the help of manager.

Beautiful home, stayed with my sister’s families and parents. The game room was a huge bonus! Great location for the fireworks from balcony. Kitchen had plenty of equipment and utensils. We didn’t use but home had plenty of beach equipment if needed. The home owners were very responsive and pleasant to work with. Will book again!

We had a short, but long overdue, mini vacation to S Padre this week with family. We had the best time. The house was amazing. We had originally planned to go out and enjoy the water park one day but when we realized how much more fun we could have at the house, we decided to stay in. We all enjoyed the pool, the game room and just the ability to spread out in the house. We’ve stayed at a few different houses in different locations before…but this was, hands down, the best one for sure. The owners/property mgmt company were so responsive to our questions and their hospitality was second to none. Thanks for making our family trip one to remember!

Enjoyable stay. Great location with quick and easy access to the beach as well as restaurants. House was very spacious and fully furnished. I would rent this house again.
