We loved our stay at Cristina's condo in Cardiff. It's exactly as described--modern, comfortable, and the view is just spectacular. The location is great, walking distance to downtown Cardiff and the beach, and a very short drive to downtown Encinitas for even more dining and shopping options. A couple of things to note--there are quite a few stairs to climb, so maybe a consideration if you have an elderly/disabled person in your party. Also, the road it's next to is quite busy and gets loud during high traffic times. When the doors and windows were closed it did not bother us, but if you are very sensitive to noise, it may be too loud for you. We did sit on the deck watching the sunset every night which was about at rush hour, and honestly the cars did not deter us from enjoying that. Lastly, if you are planning to cook big meals, be aware that the kitchen is somewhat under-equipped for that. We did a lot of eating out and DoorDashing, so that was not a concern for us! Overall, a truly wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

I stayed at the loft with two friends that were visiting from out of town. The space was clean and tasteful. It had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and each room had air conditioning. We were at walking distance from the beach, market, and restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend this place and would stay there again!

Very clean, great layout, convenient location to beaches, restaurants, and shopping, This was a great place for a weekend surf/golf trip with my teenage sons. They loved the hot tub.

Absolutely a wonderful location! We enjoyed the hot tub and amenities of the back yard and amazing balcony. We will definitely be back.

Condo was sparkling clean with very comfortable beds and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with surprising amenities to enjoy our time there. Location was within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Cardiff market was wonderful as well! So close to family we were visiting we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the Seaboard Lofts! The house was beautiful, clean and stocked with everything you need. The location was great. Easy to walk to local restaurants, Seaside Market and the beach. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again!

My husband, 18 y/o daughter and I were visiting friends in Cardiff and Solana Beach for the weekend and stayed at the Loft. It was very convenient to everywhere we needed to go, and walking distance to our favorite Seaside Market. The unit was large for a 2 bed 2 bath, was very modern and felt like a new home on the interior. Parking was also convenient in the alley in front of the garage. We are always concerned when we visit California that there won’t be adequate air conditioning (we are coming from Florida). The AC was great and you could set either unit which are split systems. We didn’t find the street noise to be loud or bothersome. I’m a real estate agent and am very particular about homes and I would return without question on our next visit. Thank you Cristina for being such a wonderful host!

Wonderful stay. Christiana promptly answered all questions, helped us do a load of laundry with new washer and dryer. Views fantastic and walks to beach for sunset cocktails very easy walk. Pull out couch can sleep two if needed.
Lower unit will hear occasionally your neighbors walking upstairs but Christina assured us not an issue past 10pm. For most part it was not a problem. Road along condo can get noisy but shut the sliding glass door, lower blackout blinds and you don’t hear the road noise. Noise Non existent in master bedroom. Frankly we stopped noticing the traffic after second day.
Will be staying here again.

I lived in Cardiff for 15 years and drove by this property countless times. I now live in Escondido and wanted a beachy weekend get-away. I have always admired the unique architecture of this place and it was a delight to stay there! Great views. Walks to the beach. Good, clean styling inside. Fun place to stay!

We stayed in the Loft Unit for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Cristina and her family have completely refurbished this 2b/2b unit and it is beautiful. The ocean view and lovely deck are a great place to hang out. It is wonderfully outfitted and we would go back again and again. Very convenient parking. The hot tub is very clean. What you see in the pictures is true. Enjoy!!

Beautiful Cardiff by the Sea place
This property in Cardiff by the Sea was a wonderful place to stay with 2 bedrooms an open floor plan and great views. Everything is updated inside the condo and top of the line. The location is great with restaurants and the beach walkable but also a quick hop onto the 5. Our friends rented the upstairs place from same owner and it worked out great to have them there too. Made our stay for this years Breeders Cup at Del Mar that much better.

Great location and view! Super clean!
The property is immaculate! Everything is clean and new, and the design and renovation are quite unique. You can see the ocean from the shower! The huge double sliding glass doors allow for AMAZING views. The balcony gives you some lovely extra space. We were 5 people, my husband and I along with our 3 grown sons (23, 20, 19), and the space was fine. Christina was a great host.

Fabulous location with bikes
Love the property, the Big Deck, The Outdoor space, and the bikes in the garage. The only downside is that the smaller bedroom faces a very busy road and there is no AC in that room. So it is either really loud at night in that room or very stuffy and warm. Otherwise this place is fabulous and we are already looking at going back next year.

Comfort and style
Seaboard Lofts did not disappoint! The space is open and airy, with quality furnishings and fixtures - there is attention to detail throughout the loft. Our hosts were gracious and attentive - easy to get in touch with completely accommodating. We had everything that we needed, bikes, beach toys, towels - plus the beds were comfy. The sea side village felt quaint with an island vibe. We will definitely return!

Fantastic stay!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The renovation was nicely done and the place was very clean, modern, and comfy. We walked to get donuts in the morning, then spent the days at the beach. High tide came in around 3:30pm so we would make our way back to the home. The timing was perfect as it gave us time to shower before either going out to eat or preparing the food ourselves. We did use the grill (which is AMAZING) for both grilling as well as sautéing veggies and shrimp. We had a great time staying here and hope to return!

Great place, amazing view
Super clean with an amazing view. Kitchen could be better equipped with items for meal prep, but with the walkability to Cardiff Market, shops and restaurants wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay here again!

Much needed break
This property is exactly as depicted. Gorgeous! What I especially liked was the owners' attention to detail. Beautifully decorated, fluffy towels, soft throw blankets, artisan soaps, toothpaste, dental floss. Also appreciated new dishes, pots, pans etc. You can tell a lot of thought went into this place. Within walking distance to a high-end supermarket, restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be coming back.

25 years of marriage, family beach week
Very modern upscale rental steps from the beach and shops. Sunsets from the balcony were amazing. Grilling and fire pit while teens played Bacci Ball. I would highly recommend the rental for couple or families. This was a special way to celebrate 25 years of marriage!

Beautiful Accommodations
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this newly updated home! The owners spared no expense with top of the line appliances, furniture, bedding, and was decorated perfectly. The balcony view of the ocean was awesome enjoining morning coffee. Walking distance to Seaside market and plenty of restaurants. Cristina was very responsive within minutes and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to make or stay too notch. Don’t hesitate to rent here as you will not be disappointed!

This is a very clean and amenity filled property. Very convenient to Cardiff by the Sea restaurants and beaches. The only drawback is that Birmingham Drive is very noisy and it’s difficult to have a peaceful conversations out on the deck

No better way to experience Cardiff!
Top shelf from beginning to end. Owner was responsive and accommodative. The rental itself was impressively (recently) renovated and had a balcony that spanned the length of the unit offering amazing views. Prime location, walking distance to all that Cardiff/Encinitas offers. Very impressed and highly recommend.
