The hotel is small but lovely.

The owner Anna was super friendly and helpful.

Good location, close enough to town and the beach. We walked from the bus station, a fair way but doable. Staff were friendly and room was clean.

Our room and bathroom were small but we expected that. Air con kept not working intermittently, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. We don't like air con generally but the room was very warm so would have been better. But our stay was short but sweet as was only a stopover between buses. Would stay again.

Hostess was very attentive to our needs and went out of way to give us tips on where to visit. Our room was upgraded free of charge and meticulously cleaned every day. I recommend Mariposa for the value, location, but most of all, for excellent customer service.

Our vacation went by too fast. We didn't like saying goodbye.

The location is very good, personally we don't like staying near nightlife places cause of the noise, but everything to do at night was just a short walk away from it and it still quiet at night. We had a big room, hot water all the time.

Bathroom was full of tiny ants. Me and my girlfriend didn't mind it, they're harmless, but keep it in mind. The hotel has some weird rules about blankets and towels, you're supossed to use them careful about getting them dirty or they'll charge you, the fees are between 5 and 20 USD. That was pretty odd, somehow it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Great price, the rooms are decently clean, the shower did have hot water after a bit of a wait. Haven't used the indoor pool downstairs but seemed nice. The location is quiet and not far from the centre/beach/restaurants.

As most cheap hotels was a bit old and shabby. A very quick improvement could be lighting in the rooms which is very dim and made the room look like a cellar at night. Card payment only agains a 3% surcharge, but that is not uncommon in Mexico (though there are decent banks offering terminals that do not charge the end-customers additionally)
