Cozy house! Beautiful views. Beds were very comfortable, showers were great. Driveway is steep with blind curves so plan on that if going out for a run, etc. Very nice to have a couple mornings worth of coffee provided- thank you for that.

House was in a great location. Quiet but still close to everything you need in town. Really nice bathrooms. The view is what makes this house so special. The property manager from Tofino rentals was very attentive, helpful, and polite. She made our stay perfect!

We spent three nights at Eagle View house and will outline the pros and cons from our experience: Pros: Beautiful Views Newly renovated bathrooms that have been tastefully done Roomy and well laid out Well stocked kitchen First class shampoos/conditioners, soaps from Saltspring Soap Works Lots of storage space Nice linens, towels, etc. Quiet and relaxing Close to town Cons: The walk up the narrow driveway is extremely steep and it would be good to know in advance for anyone with even slightly limited mobility Broken window screens and at least one broken window Sliding Patio Door is extremely hard to open Some patio furniture is wearing out. Although there were many aspects of Eagle View House we enjoyed and appreciated, the above-noted deficiencies are surprising when paying $1000+ per night. Some of these issues could be resolved with reasonable expenditures. Had this house been priced more appropriately, we would have given this a higher star rating. In addition, the 30/60 day cancellation policy through certain booking site is increasingly problematic. Travel is too uncertain in current times (eg. the Hwy 4 road disruptions and sporadic closures) and guests can suddenly find themselves out thousands of dollars. In the future, we will be looking to book accommodations that guarantee the quality meets the cost as well as offering more flexibility in their cancellation policies.

The property was wonderful. Walking up the hills from town wouldn’t work for some people but it’s proximity to everything was worth it!

This property has it all - spectacular views, beautiful interior, fully equipped , walking distance to town and outstanding communications. We have stayed at several properties and this is one of our favorites. Would definitely come back. Thank you!

Amazing location with one of the best view in Tofino. Great walking distance to town - just down the road by 10 minutes. Bathrooms were updated and clean and the house was in decent functioning condition. But honestly for the amount you pay you would expect the mold to be cleaned off the windows, the deck door to be able to lock when closed and for the house to be in better condition (the carpets are overdue to be replaced with old stains, furniture is old/dated and worn, furnishing/pillows were old could be updated). If it was available at a more reasonable rate this would be understandable however at over $1k a night we felt this rental was far too overpriced for how it was presented. Again the location and view is amazing but that is basically the only thing you are paying for. Other little things like not having any kindling ready to start a fire to use the fireplace was disappointing especially when the check in is late and guests are driving 5 hours + then have to cut wood in the dark. Little things that can go a long way when you are paying a lot of money to stay somewhere with mold in the windows and dirty curtains etc. Disappointed as we were really looking forward to staying at this place as the pictures looked amazing but it wasn’t what we expected. Enjoyed our stay but believe this is overpriced for what is being offered especially when there are a handful of other airbnbs in Tofino at offer and in better condition.

A breathtaking view from the moment walking in the door. Even after dark the cheer remained with the beautiful lights outside. Property management was a 10. The decorated tree was an unexpected touch we really enjoyed. A short walk to town but the driveway is crazy steep. Enough so, that some may not enjoy the walking challenge. We did not use the hot tub but it looked very clean and well serviced (watch the deck in winter - slippery!) Room for everyone to spread out and the beds were so comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area with ever changing views and colors over the water and mountains. We would definitely stay again.

We loved staying here. My husband and I stayed here together with our 2 adult kids and their partners. The location was a short walk to the Main Street. The house was well laid out. Super comfy couch in the living room. Well stocked kitchen. Hot tub right there on the deck. Amazing views and sunsets. Loved it!!

We loved our stay at the Eagle View House - it was in an excellent location, private, quiet and with stunning views of the inlet, mountains and oceans. The hot tub on the deck was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. Overall, an excellent property.

This place is amazing!!! The view is unforgettable and makes the start very special. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. It was our firs time but definitely not the last, we would like to come back and stay there again!

At first glance my children and I were overjoyed with the home we had chosen to stay in. It is a gorgeous, spacious layout for 6 of us, beautifully decorated and the view was breathtaking. It was a lot of money for us to spend but I felt we got our money’s worth. We enjoyed the hot tub everyday after surfing. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. My only complaint was the pile of lumber in the parking area which made parking with two cars a bit tricky, with the steepness of the hill, especially when a 3 rd car would park there from the person living on site

We stayed 5 nights at Christmas; December 23-28. It would be nice to have had a few Christmas decorations to make it more festive. Very disappointed the barbecue didn't work as it never reached cooking temperature because the burners weren't working properly.
