Practical and clean. Building has a lovely lounge and a beautiful roof terrace. Beds were perfectly comfortable and showers were good with washing products provided. The floor plan of the apartment was not clear from the booking. The reality was quite odd with a long corridor and strange kitchen location with no natural light. This didn’t really pose us problems, but was not expected. The pictures online looked bright and airy

No frills apartment style rental that 3 dads and their boys enjoyed. Fold out couch was (typically) uncomfortable but we rotated and no one claimed a bad night sleep. Location was convenient to shopping and subway. We used Uber mostly and it was ~50$ for six of us to get to Times Square area.

This property was very spacious for an NYC rental. Stayed in the unit with my husband and our two 20 y/o sons and it was comfortable, clean and surrounded by things to do. Checking in and out we’re simple. There is a lounge in the lobby with a gym, pool table and restrooms so you don’t have to go up to your room every time you come in. The roof top deck is set up comfortably with couches, lounge chairs and amazing views of the city. Would highly recommend this property for your next stay in the city!

The property is in a great location . The property has a lot of maintenance to do . The elevator keeps getting stuck and lights in the condo were not working, the halls were dark and dingy. The hall carpets were not clean and there was tissues lying around . The people staying there either living or visiting were constantly using foul language . I thought since area was good and expensive the demographics would be better but I was disappointed. Not a good place to stay with family if you are thinking a little upscale accommodation .

Simply couldn't be better. Period. Waaaay better than 2 rooms at an upscale hotel!!

Easy check in and access. Large apartment for the city. It’s New York, so predictably parking is an issue, but not as bad as I would have thought. We found a garage and the Fulton subway station isn’t too bad of a walk.

Fantastic experience staying at Sonder on One Platt in the financial district. Great location. Subway stations within easy walking distance. We needed more towels & washcloths & they were delivered without any issues. We had a bathroom sink that wasn’t draining & someone came to take care of it. Very clean & spacious. Will definitely recommend for larger groups that don’t want to split up in hotel rooms. The sofa sleeper was a bit uncomfortable.

I was there with 3 buddys for the NYC 5-Boroughs Bike Ride. Getting in and out was surprisingly easy. There is staff there to assist, much like a hotel. The neighborhood seems hip, with plenty of food options. The building feels very secure. Parking is a hassle, but expected for NYC. The layout of the unit is not opened, but helps with privacy. Adequate heating and cooling. The 2 baths, 2 bedrooms, living room, and kitchen suited our needs and accommodated us very well. Thanks!!!

Common area and location was awesome, great lobby, great gym. Very hip cool vibes. Room however hs little to be desired. Cheap furniture and linens. Fridge didn’t work, bathtub and sinks wouldn’t drain. Crappy towels and soap/shampoo products.

There were 4 adults for six nights. Only 3 bath towels in the unit. Took 2 days to get the requested additional days. The county and chairs in the front room very uncomfortable

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location and the property was as described. Easy check in process too. I did have an issue with the checkout process though. Our plans changed and I needed a late checkout. I asked 2 days prior to checkout and was not able to get a final answer until the morning that we needed to leave. A late checkout was not available and it left us scrambling. Other than that issue we enjoyed our stay.

Suite layout is not as depicted in pictures. A long narrow hallway passes through a kitchenette then leads to 2 bedrooms and ends in a sitting area with a breakfast table, so the kitchenette is disconnected and far from the dining and sitting area. Space is darker than shown in pictures with no ceiling fixtures and only a flimsy table lamp in each room and the living room. Fundamental items were not in working order: HVAC unit in the sitting area, clogged bathroom sink, dead light bulbs, and clogged shower heads. Floors were not clean and bath products were missing. Too many issues for guests to report and deal with when seeking a short efficient NYC stay. Issues were addressed a day late and a dollar short... Too many issues should have been flagged through well-managed housekeeping. As guests, we were puzzled by the evident "no housekeeping checklist" process. The status of the suite should not have passed as ready to receive guests if proper management was in place. Lastly, too much app-dependency. We could not work the TV which required us to follow some convoluted steps to turn on.

Great location and a nice spacious apartment!

We stayed at the apartment instead of booking multiple hotel rooms and it was perfect. Easy to get to off of many Subway lines. Julilee Market was right around the corner so we could stock up on coffee and fresh breakfast items. The apartment was much larger than expected, well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend for a group of friends or a family.

The apartment is nice, the area was a little dirty but our overall stay was nice. The lock failed a few times which was a little uncomfortable trying to access. Hope this can help you to check it.

The rooms were spacious with plenty of closet space. View was ok but very quiet from the 5th floor. Highly recommend it if you are in need of a larger unit that doesn't feel like a hotel room

The beds were comfortable and clean. No silverware or soap was available. But overall, I would stay here again!

Good locations and good connections

Poor check in. Didn’t get the room till 7 pm. They were backed up. But the waiting lounge had no internet. Home not well lit. Tub and sink would not drain well so had water accumulation. Just unpleasant experience. Sonder apologized but this does not bring back our vacation days.

The good: great location close to everything, very spacious and clean unit, helpful staff, nice amenities such as the lounge and rooftop terrace The bad: it would be nice to have more kitchenware, extra storage room in bathrooms and hooks to hang towels The ugly: really noisy at night with the construction and trash trucks - there was a constant humming probably from the A/C of the hotel next door - in the main bedroom, it was really hard to sleep

Comfortable, clean, great downtown location and a “two bedroom, two bath” in manhattan for the price of a one room boutique hotel! Easy access to the subway and walkable to both rivers and tribeca and SOHO!! Highly recommend if you are a downtowner like us!!!!

The location was pretty good, pretty quiet area that was within walking distance to a market and the Subway. Rooms didn’t feel as clean as I would have liked. The tub in the master had no anti slip stickers on the bottom. There were no extra rolls of “ tp” in the room either. Not sure I would stay again.

My family of 5 and I stayed comfortably for five nights. We had plenty of space to relax after long days in NYC. The Sonder online app is very easy and convenient to use. Although the hallways were dark, we felt safe going in and out. The kitchen had everything we needed to make coffee, keep our drinks cold, and warm up soup. The location is wonderful for walking to must see sites such as 9/11 Memorial. The only things I’d recommend is a deep clean; the bathroom tiles needed some attention. The bed frame and night stands were dusty. Also some light switches and walls had noticeable dirt. Other than that, I would definitely return or choose a Sonder location in another city. Their app helped to make our stay!
