Loud, hotel supplied earplugs but it still was quite noisy from traffic and general noise outside and because we were next to the lifts. The location was a bit bland not much nearby in terms of cafes and restaurants but I think that's partly the European expectation and we soon realised everyone drives everywhere but we didn't have a car. Event going on at the hotel we didn't know about before booking which was confusing about what facilities we could access during this time.

The hotel was nice. Definite had a boutique feel to it. The room was nice enough, but quite small especially for a Los Angeles hotel.

The room size was quite small. Also, the front desk staff could have been more attentive. But overall a nice stay.

O hotel é novo, bem moderno e tem ótima localização. Quarto e banheiro bem limpos, os lençóis e toalhas novos e de boa qualidade. O banheiro é pequeno mas funcional e as amenidades são de ótima qualidade. Tem cafeteira Illy no quarto com excelente café, microondas e um pequeno frigobar.

O quarto é bem pequeno e tivemos dificuldade para abrir as malas não sobrando espaço para andarmos no quarto. Não há estacionamento incluído na diária e cobram US$ 50,00 mais taxas, por dia. Há um estacionamento em frente ao hotel e foi nossa opção, com um preço mais em conta.

Location was simply the best! Moreover we were celebrating our 10th Anniversary and they send us a champagne on 1st day of stay. Very kind!

Garage park too expensive (U$50 per night). I didn’t park at The Godfrey. There is a public park for U$22 per night right across the street, near of the CNN Building.

Parken viel zu teuer! Das Frühstück sollte man nicht buchen, lohnt sich leider nicht. Sehr wenig Auswahl und im Innenhof nicht gerade einladend.

The noise till late at night and during the day - we were jet lagged and couldn’t sleep because of the music club and roof top events during the day and the ear plugs did not work! Staff didn’t care about it at all

When arriving at the hotel i was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. Whilst checking in we was informed that $35 will be charged to my card daily in exchange we received $10 voucher to use in the restaurant and bar area. We found this confusing as we was not informed that there will be any more costs at check in. They were also confusing to use as different staff members had different ruling on how you could use them. I found the bar staff weren’t very helpful and come across as very impatient at times. We attended a pool party on the roof and set a tab up to pay later on only to find out the we were charged twice for what we had. This resulted in us being charged over $150 more than what we should’ve payed. The rooftop pool and bar area was very impressive, but we was asked to leave on 3 occasions throughout our 7 night stay as they had private events on. The rooms were small and lacked wardrobe space as we were tripping over our suitcases but everything else was impressive. We stayed on the 3rd floor and no problems with noise. Overall a decent stay just needs fine tuning in different areas.

Staff were very accommodating. Most of them went out of their way to cater to our specific needs. We liked that they were very friendly, attentive and warm. Even the housekeeping staff were very extra helpful.

Parking is valet only at cost of $55 per day - extortionate. Multi-story car parks in the parallel streets however at a much more reasonable price of $25 per day average.

Not enough hooks in the bathroom. Aircon in our room wasn’t great so the room was warm.

The restaurant in the hotel was great, convenient. The food was good.

Comfortable bad

Very small room and very small closet. The bathroom is nice but you don’t know where to hang towels. The neighbourhood is horrible with lot of homeless and noise overnight (car racing and loud music). Walls are thin and you can hear everything from outside. 4th floor is under renovation and our room was in front of the elevator so we heard lot of noise. Part of the staff is quite rude, before and upon arrival we have been pushed sever times to upgrade our room. The valet is extremely expensive and close to the hotel there are cheaper solutions. The 50$ valet + breakfast offer was not available on site.

Bed was very comfortable. It was close to our main destination. The Valet employees where friendly and helpful.
