Una de las peores cosas es el agua fría, ,llovía bastante y como el agua se calienta con calentadores al sol, siempre estaba fría. Llamamos para que cambiaran 2 bombillos y cambiaron uno, nos quedamos esperando el segundo. Los desayunos muy malos y caros.

MY WIFE AND I ARRIVED ON CHRISTMAS DAY @3:15PM AT THE RITZ VILLAGE HOTEL CURACO WITH OUR CONFIRMED CHECK IN CONFIRMATION FROM UNITED STATES FLYING FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, TO BE TREATED VERY POORLY, EXPLAINING TO US THAT OUR 5 NIGHT STAY WAS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THEY HAD NO OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE. I SHOWED THE CONFIRMATION FROM THE BOOKING.COM THAT IT CONFIRMED OUR RESERVATION FROM THEM, AS WELL AS THE HOTEL WAS CONFIRMED. THE YOUNG LADY AT THE FRONT DESK STATED WE WERE NOT IN THE SYSTEM AND REGARDLESS THAT WE WERE FLYING FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, WITH NO WHERE TO STAY, WAS NOT THE RITZ VILLAGE HOTEL CONCERN AND THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO FOR US. WE WERE STRANDED AND HAD NO WHERE TO GO. MY WIFE CONTACTED 4 HOTELS AND ALL WERE BOOKED. WHAT A WAY TO SPEND CHRISTMAS! MY WIFE THEN HAD FINALLY GOT INCONTACT WITH THE BRION HOTEL WHICH HAD A ROOM AVAILABLE. WE HAD TO GET A CAB TO THE HOTEL WITHOUT ANY ACCOMADATIONS FROM THE HOTEL. THIS WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIFE AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE HOW YOU FIX THIS ISSUE, ESPECIALLY SHOWING THE CONFIRMATION HERE IN OUR INBOX! WE ARE VERY DISPLEASE AND WILL BE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

The swimming pool.

Hotel doesn't have neither restaurant nor pool table. Advertisement video published in reception shows these facilities. Pool bar doesn't have food service. Many failures with airconds. Internet speed is slow, Wi-fi signal is weak. I claimed about this, but the answer was internet supplier (Flow) takes so long for technical visits.

More power outlets would be great. Sometimes the shower temperature was great but some days the water wasn’t hot enough.

That they charge for the pool towels.

No hot water. Jacuzzi was cold. Door handles fell off the door. Concrete garage floor as you walked in. Gift shop never opened. Restaurant indefinitely closed. No shampoo nor conditioner, just a store bought, watered down bottle of soap on a rickety glass shelf that threatened to fall off the wall. When we brought up any of these concerns, we were lied to, i.e. "environmentally friendly hotel" to explain away the lack of hot water. "Old building, bla blah blah blah". Outrageously expensive for getting nothing at all! You can't believe the descriptions online. They are either severely exaggerated, or blatantly made up.

I like the urban beach area and the food at the restaurant

Someone opening our room door without knocking at about 9am while we were in bed. It was a guy, he said sorry and left. I feel a little comfortable after that situation

The location was perfect for us. The staff is friendly and is rightfully proud of their hotel and customer service. The urban beach is incredibly well done, a place which truly allows you to unwind with a cold beverage from the bar with your toes in the sand. Love it.

The pool in the back of the property was clean and bright and very very nice. There was dining service if you liked and even a little bar. The location was good, just a few minutes walk to downtown. There was a very convenient market right on the premises for food. The staff was there to help if needed. The first greeter I had was very friendly and helpful. She even helped us get our suitcases up the stairs.

Even though the hotel is close to town the walk was a bit strange - stray dogs were around and I wondered about crime as I stepped out. Also the hotel is a sort of complex with a newer section in back. That was the one with the most guests. There was a guard at the front to watch over the place. The room was clean and efficient but definitely needs some updating. In the suite I booked, there was a step down into the room - maybe a foot - which was weird and dangerous. No elevator. The door didn't lock properly. There were no comforters - only a sheet provided in the bed and I had to ask for a blanket. I asked for four blankets because they were baby blankets. The drapes over the windows were weird like on a cheap wire which you drag back and forth. I thought that was weird. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower. There was no hairdryer - although I think staff would have brought me one. I had booked a suite but they gave me the ugly one, not the pretty one they show on the pictures. Ugly carpeting in the room. Weird small flat screen stuck on a big wall. Even though its a great budget place, I did sort of expect a comforter. Towels and clean up were provided, the staff was friendly but honestly I'm not sure would recommend it unless budget was a priority. The pool in back was NICE!

The room room size, layout and design were unappealing and uncomfortable.

Luna at the front desk was very helpfull. Good location. Parkinglot avaliable.

No hot water. No iron avaliable. We had to change rooms the airco did not work.

Well, the rooms were clean and nice and the urban beach / pool is very nice
