If you need a break from work there's no place better to stay,host is very friendly and always in hand to help with anything so overall was a very relaxing stay ☺️

Location was perfect, plenty of space for my young daughter to run around without worrying. Excellent stay. She loved watching the cows outside the window (as did my wife!)

Microwave would be useful but didn't ruin anything

delighted with the cottage and the location. Ruth was very friendly and went out her way to ensure our stay was everything we could have hoped for. The location is very relaxing/ quiet and very well suited for exploring the surrounding area.

The most beautiful location, perfect for a family holiday!

Potters Lodge offers perfect accommodation for 4 people. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's in a nice setting next to a beautiful historic house. We were welcomed by Ruth on arrival and two nice chocolate bars and a bottle of wine in the fridge. We used it as a base to explore Lough Key, Boyle Abbey, Arigna Mines and Carrick on Shannon. A car is essential and a small supply of groceries due to its remote location. We would happily return again ~ Thank you Ruth.

There was nothing I didn't like. There was no WiFi but that didn't bother us as we had our own data for our phones and there were some board games, children's books, magazines and a TV and plenty space outside to kick a ball. My only wish would have been to have a few extra blankets for the beds perhaps as we found the bed clothes a little light for us in the cooler evenings.

Potters Lodge is a peaceful relaxing accommodation where you can close the door and relax . As you light the log burner and sit back with a relaxing drink enjoying the countryside and sunsets through the picturesque large window or relaxing in the courtyard with a nice drink and great company . The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Potters lodge is a great getaway and travel base to many great towns lakes and other landmarks. Ruth the owner is great and very helpful.

Location was lovely and quiet. Nobody bothered us bar a nosy chicken. hahaha

Fabulous location, The Potters Lodge is situated in the picturesque village of Kilmore, the peace and quite of the location was a treat yet only a 10 minute drive outside the bustling town of Carrick-on-Shannon. The Lodge is beautifully decorated throughout with all mod cons. The beds were dressed in crisp white bedding and extremely comfortable, the best holiday sleep we ever had. The house was absolutely immaculate and so cosy. A home away from home. Great car parking too. Our hosts, Ruth and Andrew were so friendly and made us feel so welcome, they were superb hosts. 5 star accommodation and hosts. We highly recommend The Potters Lodge. We will most certainly be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Exclusive property. Great to return to after a day touring. Property is relaxing and quite. Extremely clean. Excellent base for touring counties Roscommon, Leitrim and Cavan and many more. Lovely walks around the Kilmore area. Host was so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay. Will hopefully be back next year for a longer stay

Ruth and family were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. They cosy bright accommodation was fantastic to stay in and had everything we needed. I would give it 5 stars!! We highly recommended The Potters Lodge.
