Location, staff and breakfast absolutely fabulous

Room very basic, needs serious upgrade to justify the amount charged, too expensive for what you get

Location perfect easy parking so near to hotel.room so clean and bright and fresh.Staff always pleasant and welcoming .

Breakfast both mornings of our 2 night stay was lovely. Full Irish well cooked, plenty of tea and toast/coffee and cereals etc. Servers were friendly and polite and service was prompt. The hotel is excellently located in the town centre of Clifden and public car parking is available on the street outside and is free between 7pm and 9am. Rooms are basic but shower pressure was good.

Bathroom is outdated and side covering of bath was loose and caused a minor laceration to my leg one night as it was sticking out and caught me. Windows in rooms are not the best and let in a lot of outside noise from the street. No lift and a lot of stairs to climb to rooms. Stayed in late September for 2 nights and felt the rooms were over priced for what you get and this seems to be the norm in Ireland these days. 2 nights, single and double rooms, 3 people was 525 euros. Very pricey for off season in Ireland and for good but basic facilities.

The staff were brilliant.

The room would be nicer with a curtain over the window, instead of the blind.

Gutes Frühstück, Zimmergröße in Ordnung, freundlicher Service, sehr gute Lage an der Mainstreet, Pubs unmittelbar in der Nähe, Vom Hotel aus schöner Blick auf die Clifden Bay!
