Spacious room, comfortable bed, serene environment, and just a step away from the grass when you open the door. For us, accompanied by our dog, it was the perfect accommodation. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Stayed here with family and 2 dogs after a 4 day drive home from Mallorca and the dover ferry, chalet was big and very warm, parking just outside, the pub was super friendly, Anne landlady really looked after us, dogs welcome in pub, all really friendly staff and great proper pub food.

This place was wonderful. The owners were super friendly and really accommodating. We were there on two quiet nights so no problem with noise. If you ask then the owners will try to get anything you wish for. We will definitely stay again.
What we didn't like is stuff that we knew beforehand wasn't there. There was no breakfast (but we knew that before coming). There was no hairdryer in the room but the owners got one for us to use.

Chalet doesn't have a garden as stated. It is in fact in the beer garden so little to no privacy and if the weather is good expect people sitting right outside your window all evening

Enjoyable stay with lovely friendly hosts! Chalets are adjacent to pub and overlook terraced pub garden. We had hot weather but there was always a lovely breeze outside. Needed a fan inside (lovely landlady didn't hesitate to get us one) as only a small top window opens and the chalets are very well insulated. Can imagine they are lovely and warm in colder weather.
Lovely quiet location and the pub is an old one. Was lovely to get a cold drink literally outside the chalet door, just down a few steps and through french doors to the bar. Always lovely and quiet when we got back and in the mornings, even with people in the pub or sitting in the garden. Really didn't notice or feel like you were adjacent to the pub. We stayed in the chalet with the bath, with a spacious bathroom. Think one of the other chalets has a fridge/kitchenette. Great idea to make the chalets a little different. Bus stop to Deal is at top of road. One bus an hour while we were there! But we walked in also as brought my dog and there's a few ways you can go. Takes about 45mins or so. Bus takes 5! Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great friendly stay!

The kitchen was a bonus with use of a few appliances. There was plenty of hot water and the shower/bathroom was clean. The beds soft but ok.

It was exceptionally clean. Towels were lovely and soft, beds comfy.
The room was basic but had everything you needed... Fridge, kettle, toaster, teas and coffees.
The landlady was very friendly and it was perfect for me and my little girl to stay whilst visiting friends and family.
I was anxious that it would be noisey in the evening because of the beer garden but it wasn't.

Fleeting overnight stay but would definitely return. Very well equipped and space to let the dog stretch his legs outside after a very long car journey. Looked lovely but we didn't get to sample breakfast, unfortunately! Super comfy beds...

staff were excellent, and although there was entertainment in the bar at the weekend there was very little noise
would have preferred a double bed , but the singles were very comfortable
a couple of chairs and a wee table would have been good as although we had great cooking facilities there was no where to eat

The portions of food in the pub were enormous, and it was lovely. Lots going on at weekend Bingo Friday, Karaoke Saturday and live band Sunday. Bus top very near to take you to Deal centre and Sandwich and further. Good car parking.

Could have done with a mirror in bedroom to use when drying hair however this didnt affect our stay only minor detail.

The chalets were lovely, comfortable and exactly what we needed. We had a couple of problems that the landlady was very helpful and sorted as quick as possible.
Ann the landlady assisted us in getting local info including in getting a taxi on a Saturday night to get us back to the chalet.
We had breakfast of a choice of cereals, fried breakfast, toast with tea /coffee and pure orange.
