Fantastic staff and lovely rooms . My only issue was the AC was not cooling properly. They tried to reduce the temperature but something was definitely wrong with the thermostat.

Service was exceptional. The concierge cheerfully helped us with restaurant bookings, taxi bookings etc.

There was nothing we disliked about the hotel.

The garden , the flower arrangements in the whole property are very tasteful! Tatsuya Shinkawa and his team were very attentive to guests . The place is spick and span . Not too far from the city and near most major museums as well. I like that is quiet . A wonderful place to return from a tiring day of sightseeing . PS : the mattress is firm which for me is excellent .

beautiful facility. fabulous restrained contemporary Japanese architecture. gorgeous baths and stunning rooms. wonderful bedding. only issue is comforters are very warm so you need to turn down the thermostat at night! Yhe staff are simply incredible. beyond helpful and attentive!

Probably one the best hotel I haver stayed in. Hospitality of the staff was amazing.

Love the specious beautiful room interior and super friendly and kind staffs. The hotel is nicely design with elegant charm of Kyoto in a very peaceful area of the city.

A bit far away (by walk) from the main tourist attractions but it’s manageable. The rest are just perfect.
