Atmpsphere, nice and very helpfull owner

A bit far from cenetr of village

The rooms are spacious, well built and beautiful. The shower had nice hot water. There is a lot of greenery and well maintained gardens (although perhaps overgrown in some of the pathways). The best thing however was the hostess, Miriam. She is just an all around wonderful person, super hospitable, and helpful in every way. Highly recommend.

The gate that opens to let cars out of the compound was quite loud when opened and closed.

Beautiful, peaceful grounds full of bougainvillea and birds. The pool is refreshingly cool. The owner is friendly and welcoming. There are cafes and restaurants within a 25-30 minute walk.

The breakfast is limited: bread, jam and processed cheese. There was no seating in the room other than a short, narrow bench. The wi-fi did not always reach the room. The lavatory flush did not work without having to open the cistern to operate it. The hot water flow in the shower was limited. Booking.com needs to correct the map reference: this is in Popenguine behind the mairie, not Sindia.

This is a lovely place to stay near the airport. I truly loved it. The host is very accommodating. This place is tranquil. The rooms have mosquito nets, but there are no mosquitos in the rooms. Instagram @deepaktraveler

very simple breakfast but typical of most places we stayed. Arranged pick up from airport which was good. Nice dinner cooked by the owner at a very good price who was lovely and very friendly. Lovely gardens and quiet. Location wise its a bit of a walk from a nice beach or food, 15mins. nice place to adjust on day one as it was close to airport and on our way to Mbour.

it was in a different location than on the map. It actually worked out fine but it was a bit confusing. there was no one around the next morning so we were unsure about food, booking a taxi the following day or just general information.

The owner is very nice and super friendly. All the staff is very good. It is a very nice resort like setting. Close to the airport than going to Dakar especially if you are arriving late or leaving early. Bandia Reserve (safari) and Ranch De Bandia (Lions) are only 15 mins away and the return taxi is like around 23 euros. I found it much cheaper option if you plan to visit Bandia as the tours from Dakar are very expensive. They also offer airport pickup and drop off at a very reasonable price. It has a family atmosphere, everyone had dinner together in the evening and we met some lovely people. The pool is great and the room was v spacious.

Not that I didn't like this, but the location isn't near where it says on the map. It's in Poponguine.

The food was phenomenal: 5 star quality, amazing and plentiful. I have never been so well looked after in my life. Mariane is an excellent chef. Not only is the cuisine tasty but it is so healthy: great salads, chicken, fish, fruit and teas throughout my stay. The food is probably one of the main reasons I will return, unbeatable and out of this world. For the first time in my life and throughout all my many travels - here is a place I can say is faultless. Absolutely 5 stars for every aspect of my stay. I almost don't want to share this and keep this little piece of paradise a secret that only I know about! But - I have to share it. This is my place of peace, my sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The architecture is a design feat, it's just beautiful and so excellently crafted: the bungalows, the house and terrace, the garden with all it's wildlife, the pool and the birds. I came away feeling refreshed and I only stayed 2 nights. I'm kicking myself that I didn't stay longer but I know I'll return. Thank you to Mariane for being an exceptional host. I felt so at ease and she really looked after me, it brought tears to my eyes. The most wonderful terranga, I was so lucky and honoured to have stayed with you Mariane. Thank you.

We had a bungalow next to the pool, which was very spacious with own bath room and mosquito net. The couple running this B& B is very friendly and helpful and we could even have dinner there - very delicious.

I'll be honest, I chose this place because my flight was canceled, I would be stuck in the country another two nights, and the property was both not too far from the airport and also well priced. Still, despite being essentially forced to stay here, I quite enjoyed my stay and the hosts made it as pleasant as it could possibly be, given the circumstances. The hosts lived in the building and were always available, which was absolutely fantastic as they--Hussein in particular--proved endlessly helpful. They not only greeted me with a smile, provided me with excellent meals, and entertained me with good conversation, Hussein also helped me confirm my new flight so as to take a little bit of stress out of the whole process, and also drove me and a couple other guests to the airport. the hosts are definitely the highlight, but the accommodation is also quite comfortable with a quiet rooftop area and a pool.

The air conditioning in my room was weak to say the least, but a fan was also available and so this was truly a minor issue. Beyond this, I have no complaints, though here are a couple of things to know in advance: For some reason the Booking map still shows this accommodation as being located in Sindia but it is actually about ten minutes' drive beyond, in Popenguine. This didn't make much a difference for me but could be critical for some. Plug the address provided into Google maps for a more accurate location. That said, it's not the easiest spot to find, so contact the hosts via WhatsApp for directions before heading out. Again, these aren't complaints, just things to know.

We had an amazing stay between the mango trees, limetrees and the swimming pool in a nice little hut. We really felt like home from the first moment on and would have loved to stay longer. We even had the chance to try the babaganoush and share some stories about our lives and the world and definitely will come back. Thank you very much for the hospitality!

Very helpful and kind hosts! I got very sick the day of my flight and they came right away to pick me up from the airport and help me with everything!

I was only there for under 6 hours (as an overnight layover with delayed fight too!!). But they really went above and beyond to pick me up late night and get me to the airport early morning. They even had breakfast waiting for me ready to go on the way to the airport. These are some of the kindest host I’ve encountered.

the property is inside a walled compound, a private garden full of fruit trees and flowering plants; a nice pool. comfortable and quiet place.

there were mosquitoes in room. i wish there had been something done to rid the area of mosquitoes.

It was an experience to behold. The main purpose of my stay was to move closer to the airport for my trip early next day. I came from Dakar via the Tram (train) to Diamniadio and then took a bus from the train station then another car then another chartered taxi. The host and her husband were extremely nice. Her husband took me to get dinner and woke me up with a rice like cereal and coffee and then airport transfer was just about 15mins away. I will love to come here again. It was more of an ecolodge, got there late so i couldn't use the pool but had dinner at the pool. I won't mind to experience it again for holiday.

It was veryyyyyyy far but worth it based on my travel from Blaise Diagne airport.

Our stay at Belle villa was truly wonderful. The bungalows are set in an amazingly beautiful garden. The couple who runs the place is delightful. They make sure that you feel right at home. They cooked some amazing dinner for us which we had together with them and some other guests out in the garden. They even prepared some vegetarian food just for us. The place feels more like visiting friends than a hotel! We can highly recommend staying at Belle Villa!
