Everything was amazing, clean and comfortable

We are a family of 4 and rented the property on 3/10 - 3/13. However our stay was disappointing, so we left a day early on the morning of March 12th. We texted the property owner to let him know we are leaving and shared our disappointment regarding the property along with several pictures we took. His response was just “sorry” with no efforts to rectify the situation. The condition of the property was far below what we’ve experienced with prior VBRO rentals - to site a few items: *Bugs were everywhere *Dust and dirt everywhere *Dead cockroaches underneath my son’s bed *The stairs leading to the front door had bird poop all around that had caked up over a long period of time *The only bathroom in the house had a leaking toilet. *The floors were not sturdy and portions are loose *The bathtub even moves *The window in the room with bunk beds was open with no screen and won’t close *The kitchen had multiple broken drawers *In addition, the property owner provided us with the wrong lockbox code when we arrived and that should’ve been a good warning not enter the property So, bottom line the property was fraudulently represented as clean and welcoming.

Perfect place to stay for a quick getaway. Close to the beach and would love to stay again soon.

Great location for our mens fishing trip. Would gladly stay here again.

Our son and 2 grandchildren (6 & 8) joined us at the Surfside Beach cottage for a 2 day beach visit. The kids LOVED the house, especially the “private” loft room, and both wished we could live there by the beach. The house is very nicely decorated, furnished and supplied—but casual enough that we weren’t worried about the kids damaging things. It was clean, instructions were clear, and communication prompt. Great getaway for our family!

This house is beautiful and exactly what is shown in pictures. Host was great during whole stay very nice. We had no issues as we took lots of water after reading reviews of Surfside. The house has everything needed to relax and spend nice quality family time. Love the firepit, even though it's was 40 degrees we used it to make smores and get warm. Definitely would return. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
