Clean and beautiful home, great view right from the living room, and the host is very friendly. As others stated in the reviews and as the host will tell you. You need an AWD vehicle if you’re going to stay at this property. The roads getting from town to the home are all paved, but very steep. If you aren’t comfortable driving up steep roads this might not be the place for you. Honestly, if you aren’t comfortable driving on steep somewhat sketchy roads in general, driving in St John might not be for you.

The property manager, Linda, was a fantastic communicator and really helped us plan our best stay!

The home was lovely. The view - incredible. The hosts - so welcoming and helpful.

The check-in process was very helpful! It was lovely being met at the dock and led to the home. The house was comfortable and worked well for our group of 5.

I will recommend St. John and Tranquil Breeze to all of my friends and family! Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay and it truly could not have been better! The home's location is convenient to restaurants and beaches, and we loved the breathtaking view of the water. The unit was extremely well equipped and had all of the comforts of home. The property manager, Linda, is very kind and helpful!!! She offered great advice and was always available should we have any questions. We cannot wait to go back!!

Property looked exactly as described! Linda picked us up at the ferry was very communicative and responsive and we had everything we needed for the 8 days we were there! High points- the view! The location- being very close to Cruz bay but in a quieter spot was great for the family! The communication! Kitchen had everything needed for dinners in! And nice to have the pool option for the kids while dinner was prepared! Would love to return!

Great views. Clean and comfortable. Linda is the manager and she is great. Diving up to the house is an acquired taste.

Owners and host were wonderful , answering every question in a timely manner. The owners gave a detailed booklet of everything to do on the island and lots of tips about how to catch the ferry, best beaches and restaurants, etc. Linda was fantastic meeting us at the ferry, and showing us around the island and the house. We stay there again in a heartbeat.

This was our second trip to STJ and we loved every minute of it! Tranquil Breeze is in a great location with easy access to anything you'll want to do on the island. The management team was communicative and very helpful before and during our stay. Tranquil Breeze was just the right size for our family of four with two teenage boys!

We had a wonderful time at Tranquil Breeze! A very clean, bright, modern place with wonderful views of sunrise and sunset. There is two bedrooms downstairs and one up a spiral staircase. The property manager met us at the boat, drove us to the car rental and then to the house. A very positive experience!

We had such incredible time in the island and this village was the perfect match for us. Quite, incredible views, enough space to move confortable, full equipment kitchen and even a big terrace with barbecue for a nice outside meal with the sunset. At first we were worry to be far from “downtown” but not at all, is only couple of minutes from the ferry port but with enough distance for really fall in love of the place. Totally recommend.

Family loved it. If you know St John, it doesn’t get better at this size. Can’t say enough about the view. Kitchen well equipped. Big showers, good water pressure. No tubs. Pool is communal, but nice. Would do it again.

Views are beautiful overlooking the Westin and the location is a very short drive to Star Market, the Westin and Cruz Bay. The villa is well appointed, cozy and has all of the kitchen tools you would need to make any meal you would like. The grill worked capably. We had everything in the villa that we possibly could have needed during our 10 day trip. Check-in process was easy, Jay escorted us to the property and showed us around. Note: I do not recommend walking into Cruz Bay as it is steep and treacherous. Unfortunately, taxis can be fairly expensive in and out of town so you likely need to drive. Parking is a general issue in downtown Cruz Bay and not related to the property. FYI - If you are taking a taxi you need to take a short one and mention that you are going to "upper deck". The large ones will not be able to take you all the way to the property.

We had an amazing time staying at Tranquil Breeze. Michael was very easy and friendly to communicate with and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Luciah who helped us out with any questions or needs on the island. The accommodations were perfect for a family of 4 (kids 5,8). We loved coming home and relaxing with the view after a long day on the beautiful beaches. Tranquil Breeze is located very close to town so it made going out and getting around very easy- just make sure to pin the location of the property as it can get tricky to find it in the dark. Big thank you to Luciah for helping us find our way back one night. We had the best time exploring the island and we would highly recommend Tranquil Breeze especially to any family traveling with kids. We hope to make it back someday soon!

This property was a fabulous location for our family. Easy access to downtown for all the restaurants and shopping. Overlooking a beautiful bay! Me, my husband and three teenage kids (18,17,15) enjoyed every minute of our stay on St. John, kids gave it a 10/10!

Had a wonderful stay! The deck and view were spectacular. Loved that the kitchen looked out to the family room, and the deck! Had everything we needed. Front bedroom best for early birds as uncovered upper window totally lit up room at 6 am. So nice to have beach chairs and towels. Luciah was wonderful to work with. Location was awesome—close to town but private. Would definitely recommend!!

Just return from a 5 day stay at Tranquil Breeze and we cant say enough great things about this villa. From start to finish the owners and staff were welcoming and so very accommodating especially when the number of guest changed. The house was Stunning and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation! We would highly recommend this property and would book this villa again!

My family and I just returned from a stay at Tranquil Breeze. It was perfect for our family of 4. Luciah was very welcoming and helpful at check in, providing information on the property, local restaurants, and beaches. The property has 3 nice sized bedrooms, each with a modern bathroom. The common area is a nice size, with a full sized kitchen and a washer and dryer, which we used at least once per day. The view from the deck overlooking Great Cruz Bay was beautiful, both day and night. The property has great beach supplies including brand new beach chairs, floaties, a cooler, and beach towels. We were so busy at the beaches each day that we didn't even use the pool at the property, but it looked really nice. We loved being in the Cruz Bay area, as it was a short 5 minute drive to downtown Cruz Bay for shopping and restaurants and a 20-30 minute drive to the north short beaches. We explored the entire island in our rented Jeep and found the location of the condo to be easily accessible from all directions. It was our first time on the island, so it took a day or so to get used to the rugged/steep terrain and driving on the left hand side of the road, but after that, we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property!

Five new beach chairs arrived during our stay, but we had already rented them for the week. The new cookware didn't arrive for our stay, it is very much needed. We still cooked breakfast daily. Loved the outdoor deck and the amazing views! The spiral staircase was fixed but be very careful going up and down. Be aware of the drive to the property (see review submitted Feb 19, 2023) but that is St Johns. We had a communication problem about our arrival and check in process so make sure you read documents and contact Luciah before your arrival. Luciah took care of our beach chair rental and even presented us with a gift certificate to a wonderful restaurant for our miscommunication. I would stay again and recommend to others.

Check-in and communication with Luciah was great! The condo suited our family of 4 plus a friend perfectly. We even used the pool nearly daily without anyone else around.

Tranquil Breeze was a lovely property - Amazing views, comfortable, and clean. Both owner and Luciah (onsite manager) were excellent. Luciah helped us with our car, getting to the property, finding parking, and overall island info :) The only reasons I gave 4 stars were some upkeep issues. Teflon pots and pans were very damaged/scratched/peeling and felt unsafe for use. Two of the beach chairs were broken beyond use. Railing for spiral staircase was not screwed on securely at the bottom of the bottom of the stairs. Be aware the drive to the property is not for the faint of heart. Steep hills with hairpin turns. This did not in anyway ruin our trip but think some folks might like the info upon renting. Again, beautiful place, close to town and fun, wonderful people! Any issues shared were minor.

The villa is a short drive from the ferry. Very easy to access for St. John roads. The Villa was perfect for our family (4 adults and a 13 yr old). We enjoyed dinner out on the spacious deck overlooking the beautiful bay. Michael & Bridgette were very easy and pleasant to book with. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.

Great location and amazing views. Only went to the pool once at the tail end of the trip and wish we would have made time earlier in the trip. Had water pump issues on day one. Jay was responsive to try to get it fixed. The road to get to it was a bit daunting at first but after you get the hang of it, it wasn’t bad. Highly recommend something with power though. House had a lot of extra spices and condiments for meals. Mosquitos in the area are very persistence. If you have the door open, use the built in screen. Only recommendation is, there are many extra holes in the walls that need repair.

We loved the beautiful views and stargazing without bugs at night! Close to everything. Good clean beds and linens, pretty marble floors. Excellent communication with owners. We would return!

The beauty of this condo is only surpassed by the gorgeous views of distant hillside villas, boats moored in Great Cruz Bay and the infinite shades of blue of the Atlantic Ocean/Caribbean Sea. The beds are very comfortable, the A/C works great, the kitchen has everything you need and the location is within five minutes drive to the shops and restaurants in Cruz Bay.

Overall, the villa was nice and clean with amazing views. It was a little bit smaller than I gauged from the photos, but had all the amenities needed and a nice outdoor space to utilize. FYI- logistics Despite being close to Cruz bay, you will need to rent a car. If you haven’t been to the island, roads are very steep and narrow- not good for walking. Also, it is hard to navigate using Google maps on the island. Even though it may feel inconvenient, you really do need to coordinate to meet with the property manager in person and follow them to the villa for check in, rather than check-in to the place on your own schedule.
