We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this house was. The kitchen was well stocked. That master shower was amazing! We booked this property to be able to explore the redwoods and we would for sure book again! Having the park across the street for the kids to burn off some energy way great. They loved our short stay there and didn’t want to leave. One evening we took a short walk down to the beach and watched the sunset. If we return to the area we will for sure book again!

Great property and location

House was fantastic. Very clean and welcoming. Enjoyed the nice size yard for our toddler and dog. Only stayed a few nights to see the red wood forest and it had everything we needed from comfy bed, large kitchen and nice showers. Easy drive to everything and had a park across the street.

This was our second stay at Taylor House II...we must like it! Great place for the family to gather and hang out. Love that the dog can come, she loves the park and the beach. The house is well stocked with dishes and kitchen stuff if you're in the mood to cook. The deck is roomy with plenty of seating. Would recommend.

This VRBO was great. More than enough supplies to cook a feast if you wanted which we didn't. We did drag out the corn hole game our first night which was fun. Close location to the beach. We really liked Crescent City, and was very glad I'd booked there rather than Eureka. If possible we'll be back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house, it was clean and comfortable. To our pleasant surprise it was much larger than I envisioned. Kitchen was very modern. Location was great, close to the ocean for great sunset views (we were fortunate to have sunny weather in Crescent City). And close to the lighthouse. The owner was quick to respond to my questions.

We were there for four nights meeting friends and family. We all loved the high end remodeling of the house. Plenty of room to relax after the ancient forest and coastline wonders. We love crescent city and will return to Taylor II if we need lots of room. Our vote for best place to eat is The Good Harvest.

It was spacious and that was a really nice layout for us since we had our teen sons with us who we love but also need separation from.

The property and area were wonderful. The wind during our stay was unbelievable!!! But the views of the ocean and the trails through the redwoods were awesome.

Family from Fresno, Phoenix and Crescent City gathered here to celebrate my dad’s 89th birthday and 1st visit with his great grandchildren! This house was perfect! Well stocked, well maintained, and beautiful home was perfect for the visit! When I return to Crescent City this will be my first choice of Lodging!

The home was a nice size for our group and a good location to the ocean. The park across the street was nice also. The disappointment was seeing all the ant traps all around the house and having to deal with ants… especially with a 16 month old baby. Other than that, the house was very nice.

This home was fabulous! Great layout and plenty of space for our group to spread out. We had my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) plus my parents. The park and basketball directly across the street was a dream come true for the kids. And the short walk to the beach access was great. The neighborhood and surrounding streets are very calm and quiet allowing us to go for walks to the Sea Quake and large beachfront park. Overall a great property in a great location, we would definitely recommend and stay again!

It was very simple to check in, very easy minimal requirements before we left. Great location for a redwoods trip!

This house was delightful. Extremely CLEAN! Lots of towels, pots and pans, etc... Plenty of space to spread out. A quick walk to the most amazing beach ever! All around wonderful stay. Thank you so much for making it a smooth relaxing vacation!

We stayed for 3 nights to attend a big event going on in town. I think the write-up on the house was understated and was a real joy to stay there. Everything was provided from towels to dishes. A fenced yard to contain your dog and very close to a park and the beach. I would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay. It was super clean and comfortable. It was really nice having the large dinner table we could all sit around and enjoy meals together as we were in town to visit family making this a perfect choice. The proximity to the ocean was also a huge plus, listening to the waves at night was so very soothing. The kitchen was also nicely stocked with everything you need to cook. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Me, my daughter, two grandkids, and the dog were in town to visit family. The house was spacious enough for us to host dinner a couple of times with no worries. It's a great location, the dog loved the park and the short walk to the beach. Overall, great stay!

The Taylor II House was a very nice home with everything needed for a comfortable holiday by the coast. The location was wonderful with a view of the ocean and a short easy walk to do wave watching. The host was very helpful and responsive.

What a wonderful little house! This rental was in a great location, right across from a park and a short walk away from the beach. The house was larger than expected and the layout of the house is really practical. We appreciated that they allowed dogs and the communication with the host was timely and thoughtful. I would recommend this property!

We used the Taylor House II for our elopement and it was perfect! Super clean, great amenities, AWESOME location - close to both the beach and the Redwoods. The shower in the primary bedroom in particular is amazing! The dog enjoyed the back yard as we played corn hole and used the fire pit. The one thing that would have been helpful is directions on how to use the TV and Roku, for us poor technologically challenged individuals, haha! Other than that, 10/10 recommend this property for a stay in Crescent City!

Nice spacious property in a perfect location.

So well kept, well stocked kitchen, and large enough for 5 adults. Hosted 2 family dinners for 13 without any problems.

3 couples having an adventure. Great house (wish there was more living room furniture). Home was clean and spacious. Laundry room was convenient and clean. Owners did a great job providing king size beds and fans in each room.

Everything was okay

My wife and I, my 93 year old father, and my sister had planned a vacation to see the Redwoods of northern California. Unfortunately, a few hours into the stay, all power was cut off in the town due to a nearby forest fire. I called the host, Maria, to see if there was anything see could do, but with power cut off to the house, she could do nothing to help. We ended being stuck in Crescent City for two days before we packed up to leave, since we had no power and the access road to the Redwood Park was also closed due to the fire. All in all, the Taylor House II offered us a safe haven during a natural disaster, as we had a comfortable place to stay until we could evacuate. Although we never did get to see the Redwoods, we enjoyed walks by the ocean and the beautiful drive on hwy 101 along the Oregon coast to Crescent City. So thank you , Maria, for having that safe place for us to stay. The house was quite beautiful and well equipped and we only wish we could have had electricity so as to have been able to stay the whole booking. The power outage was beyond anyone's control, but we were able to "make lemonade when handed lemons", thanks to Maria's safe haven at Taylor House II.

I cannot say enough about this property. The open floor plan, 2 yes 2 dishwasher, park, beech not to mention the owner took enough time and care to leave, laundry soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Check in was so easy. My family enjoyed this house and would recommend it to anyone. There were so many extras.

We had the best mini vacation in Crescent City and the house was a huge part of it. Tons of space for my family of 6, including our 2 dogs. The location was perfect, a short walk to the best beach for finding beach glass & a little longer of a walk to Seaquake Brewing Co. We absolutely would stay here again & wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a great stay!
