Gute und sichere Gegend, alles sauber und die Hausherrin ist sehr bemüht sich.
Es ist auch ihr Wohnhaus und daher auch sehr gepflegt und gemütlich.

Amazing host, friendly, helpful, mindful, informative. The house /room clean confortable, & quiet. Its worry free even for solo travel. Beautiful sunrise shade from my window. Nice clean quite residents area & near to town for public transport. Went to the beach for dinner picnic 15min walk(safe).
Amazing gateway place. In time for swing bridge newhaven opened, sunday We could catch the local bus 12/12A to brighton at 8.30am (views are spectacular), have stroll by d beach, enjoy donuts & souviniers then catch next bus 13 to birling gap for seven sister cliff enjoy our lunch at d cafe then just in time for next bus selford train station for 1359 train to victoria London. It is posible to get till eastborne if you plan to leave later. We went on Public transport 100%. Beautiful memory, & safe for solo traveler.
We only have a weekend to spend in selford newhaven birling gap. Didnt get to see easbourne.

The room is too much warning (for example. Have to put your shoes in front of the door..etc..)If I know before I am booked.. I wouldn't not choose it..Because this is very pressure to me!! I can't feel comfortable and ralx !

The location.
“Private host” for this property means the rooms are in a house with the owner living in it, and shared with other guests, mostly ferry travelers. Works well for many people I’m sure, but not recommended for energetic families like mine. Wish I knew that before I booked (if I did I would never have chosen this property) and so I’m putting it here. I’ve already given this exact feedback directly to the owner.

Beyond clean! NIcky is an amazing host very attentive and available to answer any queries. Pictures do not do the room justice! The rooms are well decorated and luxurious. The bed was comfortable, and the linen top notch. Location is in a very nice neighbourhood and felt safe and secure as a lone traveller. Have booked again!

House and room was lovely was pleasantly surprised, and Nicky was a pleasure to deal with. Good communication all round. When we let ourselves in in the evening there were little stair lights so you wasn't in complete darkness. Bedroom door had a latch you could put across so you locked yourselves in basically stopping anyone else being able to open your door. En-suite was lovely and clean too.
Nothing actually against the house or Nicky. So just a personal feeling of not knowing what to expect and being in someones house felt weird, but as I say Nicky was so welcoming. She was lovely.

A very pleasant, considerate host. The location was very quiet - no traffic noise, and within walking distance of the train station (about 20 mins). There's a nice place to walk along the harbour. Very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee supplied in the room.

The location is super. Went for walks nearby. Saw the harbour, the beach, the cliffs, nature preserve with foxes and rabbits. Just got off the ferry and it was perfect to overnight before continuing my journey. The hostess was a wonderful person. I was so pleased to meet her. Everything was very clean and orderly.
Booking.com could have been better!! This was basically a bed and breakfast (without breakfast) whereas I was actually looking for a hotel. I never had to wait for the shared bath but beware: it’s one bathroom (including the toilet) for three rooms. A small folding table in the small room would have been useful.

the accom was basically a 5/ bed house kept immaculately clean.
the reception i received was pleasant an my host was only to pleases to help.
basically on the outskirts of town ideal for the ferry, opposite the accom. across the channel and only 5 minutes drive.
small supermarket at end of road, and bar/restaurant very short distand from end of road.
shared bathroom/shower and toilet
i am not going to be to critical , but no towels for bathroom.
