It was a very good experience best place to stay the common room was great as well and terrace and ganga flowing infront of it is worth everything I will come back soon.

The view from terrace was amazing, rooms were clean ,staff were friendly and the movie night was amazing.

Yeah as this is new property, pretty much facilitated by the staff, the courtsey of the staff specially Ashish bhaiya was very nice to talk with

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Madpackers Rishikesh 2.0, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in the heart of Laxman Jhula, this hostel boasts an ideal location for immersing oneself in the charm of old Rishikesh.
True to the Madpackers reputation, the rooms were not only spacious but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The beds were adorned with fresh, cozy comforters, ensuring a restful night after a day of exploration.
While the new location is still undergoing development, its potential is evident, promising even greater experiences in the months to come.
What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made all the difference. Always ready with helpful tips and local insights, they went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an unforgettable time exploring Rishikesh.
I can't wait to return and see how this promising new location continues to evolve.
Reaching Laxman Jhula is a little tricky as the normal rickshaws are not allowed there. But it is a hassle that you have to take care of if you are visiting Rishikesh.

There was nothing to like from ill arrogant receptionist/ staff to small dirty room.
The locality is located near laxman jhula where you have to walk 2kms straight to reach there. Staff is arrogant and full of god knows what kind of ego they have.

Great lil stay. The art on the walls was fascinating.
I recommend Freedom Cafe, moreso, I recommend Harry's -- locals called it the new Freedom Cafe. Amazing spot.

Location was good. Right in the middle of a buzzing area. It's crowded and loud but that's how the location is. No complains.
Rooms had no window, no ventilation at all. Upon asking for change of room, they said they don't have rooms with windows

very nice rooftop and location in laxman juhla.
we booked a female dorm and paid in advance but the staff canceled the booking by mistake. we had to pay an extra night in a single room, as the dorms were all full. we had to bargain the price.

It was dirty and I couldn't lock the door when I left because guests aren't given keys to their dorm rooms when you check in. It didn't feel safe . I'm prity sure my bedsheets weren't changed from the previous guest

Staff were great. Bed comfy and great place to doss for a few nights.
You get what u pay for.
Location was good for walking tours. BUT the road bridge was closed and meant a long 20 min detour by taxi to reach the hotel.
Hotel had no water on the last day.
Breakfast was usual paranthas plus curd.
No kettle was a killer!
It would have been helpful if we had k ow the bridge was closed prior to arrival.

The caring and friendly attitude of the staff. I felt as if was with family.
The clean and comfortable beds and bedding.
The warm showers with plenty of water and good pressure
The other guests are really nice and have helped me in planning my onward travel.
