The location and condo were great. It was very clean and the corporate company kept me posted about checking in and other info. The problem I had was with the local contacts. Before checking in, they told me the dishwasher didn't work and to not use it. We noticed it leaking on the floor the first night and cleaned it up. The next morning, it was all over the kitchen floor. We tried to contact the local property manager, maintenance, and housekeeping and they wouldn't respond to us. The main company got back to me, but what could they do different from what I was doing? The next morning, the kitchen sink was filling up and the kitchen was flooding. I took pictures and videos for proof and tried again to call people. No one ever got back to me. I was tired of soaking up water, so we left. It's too bad because the lot and condo were really nice!

The property was very nice except for the kitchen. The sink was backed up with nasty smelling black water with debris in both sinks. When you ran water into the right sink, it bubbled up into the left sink. We called and texted with Vacasa, but no remedy was taken. No one came out to fix the problem. We weren't able to cook any meals in the unit. The whole point of staying in a condo versus a hotel was so that we could prepare our own meals for 3 days of our 9 day vacation. We were very disappointed with the lack of response from Vacasa.

Fully equipped with modern kitchen and everything needed for cooking in. TVs in bedrooms and living room with multiple channels. Nice balcony and just three blocks from ocean and restaurants. Tubs in bathrooms could use grab bars for older renters. No hassles with check-in or check-out. Nice unit.

18 silver was a nice little place. I'd stay again. It wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. Make sure to get laundry detergent. There are only enough towels for 4 people. I did laundry everyday. It's within walking distance to a ton of places.

The condo was in a great location and pretty clean. The only problems we had were a delay in check in and some trouble with the access code for the door.

The condo is located in a great spot within walking distance to the beach and and many restaurants and shops. The condo was well stocked with many extras like board games and beach chairs etc. My only complaint and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the beds. One room had a nice large king size bed and the other had a queen bed. The problem was that they both felt like you were laying directly on a concrete slab. I have neck and back issues and the beds were absolutely horrible. Everything else about this condo was perfect but I will not stay there again unless the beds are changed out. Even a good mattress topper would work.

We had a great time and enjoyed everything except the WiFi did not work very well nor was there good phone reception until we got near the beach.

My fiancé & I stayed here for New Years! We liked it so much we were blessed to have stumbled upon it for Valentine's Day as well! It was even BETTER than last time. Super clean & smelled FRESH:))). DEFINITELY are favorite by far and we're locals of Chatham County here in GA! Thank you VACASA, Y'all are awesome. Keep it up and we'll keep booking this place!!:))) Can't wait to explore your other Tybee Island properties. If they're anything like Silver Shores, I KNOW we won't be disappointed!❤️

Close to the beach

Great location, clean, no parking problems

We enjoyed our stay. We're locals so we frequent the beach quite often and take mini staycations. The only downside to this unit was when we first got there our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Our towels smelled like smoke as well. Everything else was amazing but we're not smokers so the cigarette smell was pretty disappointing. Outside of that, I love how fully stocked the kitchen was with cooking & baking vessels. Very accommodating and the best condo we've rented on the island quite frankly. Hopefully the cigarette smell won't be an issue in the future because we plan to come BACK and stay at this one again!:) Thank you, Vacasa. P.S I only rated the communication a "1" bc it didn't apply for this rental as everything was done paperless and we had self check-in/check-out. We didn't have to "communicate" with anyone

Condo was nice though a tad expensive for a late summer booking imho.Tybee does have a nice beach,very clean.

We stayed here for Pirate Fest and it was a great location to all the events! We enjoyed being able to walk out to all the bars and restaurants. The place was very clean (other than the floors but you are at the beach so I guess sand is to be expected). The rooms were a good size and each had it's own private bathroom. The balcony was great to hang out on just to chill. Great place! Highly recommend it.

Wonderful place to stay very clean and close to everything.

I always use VRBO or other vacation rental sites when I travel and THIS was the worst experience ever! When we opened the door to the Vacasa Property we were immediately hit by the stench of a dead animal and the place was infested with flies. We discovered the smell was coming from the garbage disposal so we tried to use whenever cleaners we had at hand to resolve the problem. We were not able to so we called the main Vacasa contact line. There were 5 callers ahead of us so we took the advice of the automated message and texted the company. The company texted back stating they would contact the local agent. We also texted the local agent then left the property because the stench was too much. Three hours later - still no response. We went to a local convenient store and bought $40 worth of cleaning supplies hoping to mask the vile odor and tame the flies so we could sleep. The next day we talked to someone at the main Vacasa number. Our complaint had been received and registered; however, there was no response from the local agent. The Vacasa agent said they would call the local agent and call us back in 5 minutes…..that was over 2 days ago and I still have not heard from either the Vacasa company or the local agent. Over our 3 days stay, we cleaned the garbage disposal and kitchen in general 5 different times and yet, I still could not sit on the couch without being swarmed by flies. I couldn’t even use the bathroom without flies. The flies were everywhere! The Vacasa Property Management and local agent for this property not only didn’t resolve the issue, they completely ignored us. There is no excuse for this apathetic, unprofessional and absolutely shameful customer service. Did VRBO even vet the Vacasa company? Sadly, based on this experience, if VRBO is trusting their reputation to companies like Vacasa, we won’t be trusting our vacations to VRBO.

Updated, clean 2 bedroom condo in walking distance to everything you would need- - beach, restaurants and stores! Great for 2 couples!

Good... home was very clean and had everything you would need. Even the small things like complementary laundry soap. Not so good... beds and couch were very uncomfortable. Kitchen faucet needs replacement. Cable not watchable in master due to bad connections or TV. And wish door code wasn't 9 digits long. Had to have phone with me all the time to look it up. Overall, it was nice and worth the cost. I would recommend.

This was an excellent stay, and we'd stay here again if we come to Tybee. There are more amenities than are listed on the website, including hair dryers and plenty of soap and shampoo for the showers. The place was clean and cool on arrival, and we appreciated the bag of ice in the freezer. There's a coffee maker with filters, but bring your own coffee. We heard very little evidence of the guests in the other units. Very close to the beach and many restaurants. Cons are minor: no good place to hang wet swimwear that's designed not to go in the dryer, big Vacasa sign partially attached to the railing blocking one chair's view of the street below.

This property was grat the layout of the home was perfect for our family it was very clean for a beach house. They didn't have coffee though so unless you want to pick up coffee every morning bring some. We got coffee out each morning but it was a 7 min walk to an open coffee house(the close strip didn't open till 9). The only problem we had that I called about and wasn't resolved was somebody parked in our parking space.. luckily we didn't get blocked in, and I hear that is also a problem.

Great location to walk just anywhere you need to go…restaurants, bars and the beach. The drive into Savannah isn’t bad at all and then you get the best of both worlds. The condo was pretty clean but there was blue soap in the shower that wasn’t clean out properly. I would also suggest bringing your own towels. They do not supply enough when there is a group of women staying. You literally only get one washcloth and one towel per person for your trip. Overall it was a nice condo and it was perfect for our needs, we would definitely stay again.

So many attempts at reaching out with the same answer ,yes we will take care of this nothing was ever done , tried to be courteous, understanding, patient, grumpy, annoyed, no tactic worked, and I am usually very tactful, try to put myself in the other person's shoes, but the time and effort spent on my part made no difference...very disappointed 😞

It's a great 2 bdrm 2 bath one block from beach access and one to two blocks from shops and restaurants on the south side of the island.

Loved that it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so each couple had their own space. Nice condo, and a good location in relation to the bars and the beach. We had a great time, would stay there again.

My family and I had the pleasure of stay in this wonderful place which was near the beach. The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous and convenient. We didn't have to search for anything and the place was fabulous. My family and I look forward to returning again to visit Tybee Island. Thanks again for the hospitality.

The cleaners we not done when we arrived @ 4:00pm (only by about 10 min.)but very nice and apologetic. Actually glad they were still there to give us certain directions and amenities. Overall we had a very nice stay.

First the listing said that there is a shuttle that goes several times a day between Tybee and Savannah. This is literally why we choose the house but was disappointed to learn on our first day that the bus has not been running since Covid. This really needs to be changed on the listing. It is very had to get transportation on the island if you don’t have a car. Also the early and late check In and out. I have never experienced not knowing ahead of time other then 24 hours if you can check in early or out late. Makes it very inconvenient since our flight was getting in at 8am and we couldn’t make plans ahead of time. We probably will not rent from turnkey again. Beach chairs would be nice since it’s a beach rental. Also just a broom in one of the closets would be nice so we could of swept up the sand.But again we had a great stay just the check in and transportation was an issue and people need to know that if they are planning on renting!Thanks!!
