Is a nice place for family

Our stay was nice. The place looked just like the photos and was a comfortable stay. We wanted a fireplace and there were two but it was gas not wood. Luckily my friend figured out how to make it work. There weren’t any curtains or blinds in the bedroom so we hung a sheet. Very quiet peaceful place to stay. The golf cart had three flats so we couldn’t use it, and didn’t plan on using it anyways! There is a $55 fee I didn’t know I had to pay to get a key card to enter this gated community and use of amenities that we didn’t use.

house downstairs smelled musty, cobwebs in light fixtures. water leak under kitchen sink not a good smell. and finally ANTS probably due to the water leak. The golf cart had flat tires and part of windshield missing. But in a good location. not terrible

everything was perfect for a relaxing stay. Spent lots of time on the huge deck enjoying the day. It was great having a/c and internet tv for the evenings. Didn’t cook at all, but kitchen seemed to have everything you would need.

The home was comfortable but needs minor upgrades and maintenance. Host was friendly and helpful.

The house has been there quite a while and could use some upgrades and maintenance. The bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired, there was lots of junk in the garage, damp, smelly laundry left in the dryer, a fist sized hole in a powder room wall, the electric garage door was disconnected, and while being advertised as within walking distance of several beaches and playgrounds, it was quite a hike, especially for small children. There were insufficient towels for our group but we were charged for an extra guest so the owners should have known that our group of 8 needed more than 5 sets of towels. There was no furniture in the master bedroom but the bed so we laid our clothes on the floor. There was a gaping hole in the MBR sliding door screen. A few notes from the owners would have helped, such as directions to pools, playgrounds, and beaches as the development is so huge, and the area map printing so small, it was hard to decipher. We have owned a rental beach home for 22 years so we are more sensitive to rental customer service and how to make a house seem like a home for one’s vacation, so I hope it doesn’t seem like we are nitpicking. We did love the fire pit and lights but once again we had to search for an extension cord through the junk in the garage to operate them. Even though there were the aforementioned inadequacies we did enjoy our stay. We just think there are several repairs and attention to detail items that could have made our stay more enjoyable.

I want to start by saying that the host was really nice and very accommodating. When we arrived to the property, I could immediately see from outside that the yard and home from the exterior were not maintained at all. Inside, the house was not clean, sheets had not been washed-I know this because there was popcorn all over the bed sheets. We had to make a trip to the store immediately because there were no paper towels, napkins and just 1 roll of toilet paper. There were ants in the dining area which wasn’t really a surprise. If I was just staying there with friends, I could look past a lot of the uncleanliness but I had my children with us and the fact that I spent my first day of the visit washing bed sheets and blankets, and couldn’t let the kids run around in the yard because the grass was overgrown and unkept kind of sucked.

We rented this house for a short getaway with a small group of high school senior girls following their prom. The girls just wanted a place to relax, play games, and enjoy each other's company prior to graduation and departure for college. The house and area were perfect; very clean and with all the amenities to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. The owner was extremely responsive to all my inquiries and even accommodated an early check-in request so we could spend a little more time. We only rented for one night and would have loved to stay longer! I am happy to have found this place and will keep it on my list of potential return destinations - longer stay next time so we can enjoy more of what they have to offer! Many thanks to the owner for making this house an option for us!

This place was perfect for our small family, but we definitely could've fit some friends. Next time we visit Lake Arrowhead, we will bring them along. Quiet neighborhood, very peaceful weekend. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for a night just to get away before he left for an extended work trip. It has a nice cozy feel, the master bed was very comfortable (maybe the best mattress I’ve ever slept on away from home), I loved the soft pillows and fuzzy blanket. I gave it four stars for cleanliness only because there were a few hairs in the tub. Nothing else stood out to me other than that, everything looked clean. I would also just mention that it’s hard to tell the size of the hot tub from the pictures posted. It’s a nice two person jacuzzi tub located in the master bath but it’s hard to tell exactly what you’re looking at from the pic, maybe add a sentence about it to your description. Owners were very responsive, kitchen had all the necessities (including a corkscrew), setting was nice, there’s definitely room for the whole family. I would definitely return!

We had such an awesome time at the Arrowhead Lake. The place is gorgeous and well maintained.

Just needed to get away with wife and daughters when they had spring break they chose to go up to the Poconos. We have been up several times before, but never has it been so quiet comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you!

Beautiful! Quiet! Relaxing! Truly a great weekend. Highly recommend to everyone looking for a great getaway. Plus the mattress was so comfy :)
