Very good to be in a private house close to where I was working the following day. Extremely comfortable bed and good shower.

The room was spacious & clean. The bed was comfortable

The hosts not being present. For a small b& b I think that matters. The 2 large dogs ( owners left them) were unsettled & barked..day & night. The housesitter was polite but distracted.

the Attic room doesn't have a TV , account can't provide you with a VAT reciept which is disappointing if traveling for work and you need to claim back expenses

Very clean room and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The hosts were lovely and chatty and the house is in a very quiet area so nice and peaceful. Tea and coffee in the room when we arrived.

No locks on the bedroom door which wasn’t great as we didn’t feel very comfortable leaving our stuff in the room. Dogs were lovely but noisy barking in the hallway that echos. No toiletries in the bathroom apart from watered down soap. No hanging space for clothes just a hook on the back of the door and a set of drawers. We were greeted by the hosts wearing swimwear in the front garden which didn’t seem very professional. For the price we paid we would’ve liked a little welcome pack or something similar.

A very friendly contact, familiär feeling

Location. Very friendly hosts, the room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The shower to die for!

The heating wasn’t on, so felt cold most of the time (we’re an old retired couple, so tend to feel the cold more often). No outside light, on sensor, to light up the front path when dark. At 3.00 am, went outside to have a cigarette (warned the host on arrival, that I usually do this, said that’s no problem), then coming back in, their two dogs started barking, by then we couldn’t get back to sleep and were fully awake, so decided to leave and head back home. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful house in a very quiet area, just 5min drive to town. The hosts are a lovely couple and their son and daughter, very friendly people!

It felt very luxurious with a great shower and TV plus nice selection of teas. Ruth was lovely and very welcoming.

where to start … bedroom so lovely, pillows extra comfy, towels, crunchy, just as we love them. the furniture and furnishings in our room was just beautiful. Ruth cooked our breakfast, which was also splendid. a truly lovely gem

Very comfortable, well-appointed room, excellent en-suite bathroom with superb shower. Great breakfast prepared by Ruth, who was the most welcoming of hosts. Easy, free parking outside the property.
