Located in Moto Hakone, right in the town centre next to the lake. There are many food options around it. Decent, budget accomodation.

the futon mattresses were not comfortable and apartment a little tight for a family of 4 adults but since it was an overnight stay we didn't mind.

Very good location. The place is pretty central, within 1-2min walk to Lawson, with a 7-11 about 5min walk away. It’s also pretty close (~5min walk) to the ferry terminal that’s included in the Hakone Free Pass. There’s a direct bus here from Hakone-Yumoto (also covered under free pass). Moto-Hakone Ko isn’t a very big town in the first place, but the property’s location makes things a lot easier. Also, Lake Ashi is 1min walk away, it’s a breathtaking view. A washing machine and detergent is included, which is very helpful, but no hangers :( There were enough chairs to make do, though. An entire kitchen is provided, cutlery, knife, pan, a stove etc. but probably won’t need them since it’s pretty hard to come by groceries in the area and there are decent looking food places nearby (which open late at 11am and close early around 2.30-3pm in Dec at least). Place felt very spacious (for 2 ppl) and looked very much like the pictures. There are futons for 4, but you’d have to extend into the living room area to accommodate that many. There are also 2 aircons/heaters, 1 in the sleeping area and 1 in the dining area, made the place nice and toasty. Check-in was a very smooth process, passcode for the key sent early in the morning of check-in as well as a Google maps link to the place.

The location was perfect, close to the lake. A good pizza place so close (go there early as they close at 19:30)

The Futon beds are too thin. It was as sleeping on the ground. The room was also to small for 4 people. My daughter had to sleep in the closet.

Location is great: 5min from Motohakone bus stop and actually easy to find with Google; it’s one of the KOI HAKONE apartments. 2min to Lake Ashi, 4min to where the Pirate ships arrive, 9min to Heiwa No Torii. Retaurants and cafés just right there. Beware that a lot of them have early closing times (3:30PM - 5PM, some 06:00PM and only very few open until 9:30PM) but you won’t starve, convenience store is just around the corner. Area is quiet yet central. Self check-in was easy, you will receive a message from the owner before your stay with info to your aparmtent and key. The rooms are separated into 3 (kitchen/entrance, living room and tatami area) by sliding walls + toilet and bathroom. It’s quite spacious. They also provided tooth brushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and face wash so we didn’t need to buy everything. Futon bedding was comfortable and clean. We slept very well. For the low price it was great value!

Main areas/utensils were fine but for my own preferances the room could’ve been cleaner. There was dust and dirt here and there around the corners, hidden areas such as around the washing machine. If you’re not too fuzzy about it you will probably not mind.

I love the localization! Perfect!!!

The only thing that I didn't like is the spider that instantly in the ceiling inside the room. But the rest was very good.

The location was perfect, tied with the overall value of the location made it an excellent choice. Mt. Fuji is RIGHT there, less than a 5 minute walk away. Seriously recommend this place for a quick travel reset.

The communication moving up to the point of starting my stay, as we were a LITTLE unsure on the legitimacy of the actual property. Being on Booking offers some security but we were still a little paranoid since there wasn't much for communication prior to the stay beginning.

Good location, clean and complete property with everything we need. Simple checkin and checkout.

There are no hot bath at the property, and the nearest public bath house is quite far away…

unfortunately the futon mats were very uncomfortable, if there was one area to invest it it would be here! it would have also been helpful to get the lock box code the day before check-in. as an international tourist it was very difficult to be able to call to get the code and attempts to get the code via the support chat did not work

the flimsy siding door in the room came crashing down in the middle of the night, giving my whole family a ride shock.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. I really enjoyed the tatami mat room. I wish I could spend more time there!

The place was calm, private, fairly spacious and comfortable, equipped with bath tub, washing machine, and wifi. Nice location too.

It is better to show in descriptions about how to find the stairway. when I reached at night, I couldn't find the stairway to room 201. In descriptions, it was mentioned as no wifi and parking. But there is wifi and parking.

The cleanliness, the location, its a 10 mins walk to heiwa no tori. Ang the parking lot.

No free coffee

Location is amazing with a lake view in front. Its just few mins walk from MotoHakone Ferry/Bus Terminal. Apartment is large for a small family and kitchen facility availability was added advantage. Everything was as per the details mentioned. Reasonable price for the apartment even during a long weekend has made my trip wonderful and memorable.

Google location shared for the property worked fine but it would be better if possible to share outside pics of the building on the property page as it took few mins to find from the road without any signboards and the entry was from the backside.

Room was clean and was in a great location. Staff responded very quickly whenever we called. There was free parking and internet as well. Great value for money.

Good morning, we enjoy staying at your home its like home away from home🥰🥰the whole room is so clean and comfortable to stay with with all the important things/goods are ready to use, refrigerator, microwave, stove with kitchen utensils, washing machine with detergent, bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, even we stay for sleeping and mostly roaming around the tourist spots of hakone it’s so comforting and relaxing staying at your place. Thank you and we’re surely and strongly recommend this place to stay. It’s all in package a good budget, accessible area we’re everything are just a walking distance. Good and accommodating owner even we only communicate through msgs and calls. With wifi and parking. No more to ask, Me and my family with our grandmom we’re so grateful and super contented with our 2 night and 3 days stayed. Thank you thank🥰🥰🥰
