The house itself was a good size. It is stated that the property does not have WiFi, but it does. Also stated that there is a fridge, but there is also a freezer.

The property is incorrectly listed as 'Telford View on Telford Road'. This takes you to the wrong address. It is actually on Freelance Road and is along Telford Terrace. So, finding the correct property took time... Supposedly, a non-smoking home, but smelt strongly of cigarettes with many littered cigeratte butts to the front and rear of the property. The property didn't look as though it had been cleaned, bed sheets had stains, the dining table was sticky, and there was even a dirty glass in our bedroom on arrival. The shower was broken, leaving you only able to use the detachable shower head, while the main head leaked cold drips during a pressure-less shower. The garden was an overgrown mess, and although a rusted washing line was provided, there were no pegs. The kitchen was falling apart, the top oven did not work, and the oven didn't look as though it had been cleaned for a number of months. There were also no cleaning supplies provided. While I realise it is a self-catering property, there were empty bottles of cleaning products under the sink that had not been replaced, and it just seemed quite poor. It is also stated that there is cable available, but the TV didn't even have free view channels, and there were two frayed wires behind the TV, which just seemed dangerous. Overall, it seems that the property has been let go in a big way and is generally falling apart. It certainly does not match up to the pictures. It was unclean and in an area called Murray within East Kilbride, which is very rough. Given the price we paid, it was very disappointing, and I certainly would not recommend staying here.

We enjoyed staying at Telford View. It is close to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. There is a mall within walking distance with restaurants. The living room is pleasant and the house is fine.

As mentioned in other reviews it was difficult to find the exact address. Luckily people in the area are friendly and willing to help (although they too were uncertain as to where the house was). We were given the wrong number for the key box and tried to ring the contact number. All lines were engaged - which happens - but the voice mail we were directed to was full and unable to take more messages. Perhaps there could be an emergency number for such problems? (We were fortunate that a handyman came by to fix a few small jobs so he could let us in. He too was very friendly). One other thing: there wasn’t much in the way of kitchen utensils (cutlery, crockery) in the house.

Warm and spacious. Had enough basics for us to cook and relax together as a family. Free wifi appreciated.

Not cleaned to the highest standard dirty door frames/window frames. (First thing you see on arrival is the front door.) Beginning to look a little tired. Rug in living room looks dirty. No cleaning products or cloths for us to use so we bought our own. The address says Telford Road but it's actually Telford Terrace. Caused quite a bit of confusion on arrival.

The area was very socially economically deprived.
