I have nothing but great things to say about the hosts: first of all there was a misunderstanding about the number of guests, and Nikos, the host, didn't ask for any additional charge, which we really appreciate. He brought us an additional bed and an additional towel within 5 minutes from our arrival. Anyway we also found water, wine, fruit and some food in the fridge and he used to bring us figs and grapes almost every day. The house was super clean and comfortable, with a small terrace outside. One day there was a problem with water supply in the whole village and the host promptly brought us an emergency bucket of water. On our departure, Maria, Nikos' wife, gave us a small gift from Naxos. The position is ok if you rent a car, just 10 minutes from Naxos town, and the apartments have their assigned parking spots. If we had to go back to Naxos, we would surely go to MNP apartments.

I don't recommend sleeping in the area (not this specific apartment) JUST if you don't rent a car.

Hosts are excellent, you get a feeling for the real greek hospitality staying there. There is everything you need in the property and hosts are more than accommodating. We stayed for two weeks and we had a wonderful time! Highly recommended.

Over the past seven years we have been fortunate to have stayed in many wonderful places in Greece. We can honestly say that our time spent at MNP Apartments, exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. This was our sixth visit to Naxos since 2019, so we believed we knew pretty much all there was to know about the island...until we discovered MNP Apartments, located in the authentic, peaceful village of Eggares, approx. 8km/13min drive from Naxos town. On arrival we were greeted by Maria, who showed us around our apartment, which was exactly as portrayed as in the photos. The recently constructed, luxuriously appointed apartments have been thoughtfully designed and built with quality materials to a very high standard. The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen - including a full size oven and hob - stylish shower room - with a great shower - and a very comfortable living space and bedroom area. We were immediately surprised and impressed with the generously stocked fridge, including wine, milk, eggs, bread and many other items, which, if you are arriving late at night, is such a bonus. Everywhere has been tastefully and professionally decorated. The highlights of the property for us were the sumptuous shower and the modern, fully equipped kitchen. One of the very first things we observe, is how clean an apartment is... a 10/10 score is not common, but it is unquestionably deserved here and the high level of cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, including a change of towels and bed linen every few days. From the very first day to our last, we felt completely relaxed, to the extent that after just a few days of our two weeks stay, we were planning our next visit. However, what made our stay so memorable, was the exceptional hospitality of both Maria and Nikos. They were welcoming, exceedingly generous, friendly and always responsive to our needs. They made what would have been a really pleasant stay... absolutely perfect. Finally..

Nothing not to like

The village is very nice, a little out of the tourist area (better this way) but at the same time close to the Chora and convenient for getting around the island. The village has two taverns and the beach of Ammitis which is very quiet and easily accessible. The accommodation is new, absolutely comfortable and equipped with everything: the well-kept kitchenette allowed us to enjoy complete autonomy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a fantastic shower! (They also provided us with everything we needed for a shower and it was high quality supply). The outdoor space was also very nice and overlooked the garden which guaranteed privacy and tranquility for relax or an evening drink. But the most beautiful thing was the genuine hospitality of Maria and her husband: two exquisite people, attentive to our needs and always smiling .. they made us feel at home (maybe even better !!), welcoming us from the first day with local products from their garden (the grapes were fantastic, the tomatoes, the figs, the bread .. thank you very much !!) and they made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Maria also made us a really good cake !! In conclusion, this was for sure one of the best accommodations we have stayed in, the accurate and present hosts without ever being intrusive made us taste the best of true Greek hospitality. The apartment has everything you would need, and all appliances are brand new. The apartment was spotless and very clean! The hosts were super friendly and helpful and they offered us veggies, fruits and bread which was so cute ❤️ Unfortunately we didn’t had time to explore the village as we stayed only for one night but we would like to come back sometimes.

Keep in mind that is better to rent this if you have a car, otherwise the bus is not very reliable.
