We loved the little cottage - we were two couples sharing the cottage but there was plenty of privacy and lots of lovely common areas to spend time together. The garden suite in the basement/bottom most floor was very charming as were the bedrooms on the first floor. The beds were very comfy and the bed linen and towels of very high quality, which was a great plus point for me. There was a welcome hamper of goodies waiting for us in the dining room and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a great selection of teas and coffees. For me, what made this a home away from home was the Nespresso machine (with pods included)! I was little surprised that there was no washing machine, but it didn't impact on our stay in any way as we were there for 3 nights. We loved the front and back gardens and enjoyed our al fresco dinners. We didn't get around to using the hot tub as we were too busy exploring. Our host, Ali, was very helpful and sent us a brilliant guidebook/instructions. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area and will be recommending the cottage to our friends.
