Check in was good.
Room was ok but I kept stubbing my toe on the black step going from the dark room entrance into the bathroom.
Evening meal was an unfunny joke - they had a fault with the extractor fan which meant that they were limited on what food they could produce. It would of been nice to be informed of this when I checked in (5pm) so I could of made other arrangements. The worse bit was that they snuck on a £5 service charge to walk a couple of cold starters 20 foot across an empty restaurant. I informed them when paying the bill that because of my visual impairment I could not read the bill and they didn't offer to go through it for me. Do they not pay their staff minimum wage.

Pleasantly surprised.. the photos of the modern tower are an mis-sell, but overall the room was comfortable and bathroom clean. Water filling station was a nice touch and the parking was value and convenient for Swansea. Double beds could be a lot bigger….

We got a room on the ground floor right next to reception and the main entrance so we could hear every car coming in and people non stop. Room wasn’t clean- i had to clean the shower to be able to shower. Hotel is super old really needs an upgrade.

Stayed for the night as we were going to the Arena for a Concert.

A return visit for work. Great location for city centre. Plenty of parking and nice rooms. Good quality shower. Staff excellent (AJ very helpful). Hope to return for a leisure break.

If you are looking to stay in Swansea, this is the hotel I recommend. Right next to the beach, staff were extremely helpful, room was spacious and clean, restaurants close by and short Uber ride from the train station.

Always stay here when visiting child at Swansea Uni…easy to get too, right on walk to Mumbles and easy access to Marina, Uni and town centre

Not so good. Expensive, so you expect a premium service, but housekeeping wasn't performed despite asking for it, breakfast service was very busy and they had run out of some options, toilet didn't flush properly and having to pay extra for parking is an insult. It is a characterless modern hotel building, no charm at all.

Typical Marriot. Outside of the hotel in need of some TLC, it is looking worn and dated. Staff were good, friendly and helpful. Room size was good, bed comfortable, shower worked. One downside was noise, the aircon was very loud, the small fridge buzzed and the bathroom extractor fan sounded like a hairdryer and came on randomly.
Marriott breakfasts are usually good, this one was OK but not a high point.
Location and parking are both very good.

Not very good service. Every time we inquired about a problem, it was not promptly solved. We had a fridge that didn’t work, they gave us a mini fridge that also didn’t work. The windows didn’t open. The room was low on toilet paper and Kleenex when we got it. One of the lamps didn’t work properly. I’m not sure what gives this hotel a 4 star rating. Nice that it’s by the beach though.

The facilities are good and the staff are friendly and helpful. My only gripe was the quality of the beds. The mattresses were of low quality and I struggled to get a good nights sleep. My stay was for one night which was fine. I don’t think I would have liked to stay longer purely because of this reason.

I recently stayed at the Marriott in Swansea and had a very disappointing experience. Despite paying a hefty £190 per night for a deluxe room, it was situated directly opposite a conference room that hosted a loud function until 12:30 am. The noise continued as guests were leaving and waiting for taxis until 2 am, making it impossible to get any sleep. This was incredibly frustrating and ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. When checking out, I made the staff aware of these issues, but there was no satisfactory resolution. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a peaceful and restful stay.

Fantastic location, right next to the beach and loads of food places, staff had superb customer service skills and were very helpful.
Facilities were good, handy parking.
Breakfast was great, I would have liked more fresh fruit choices, especially seasonal stuff, it was very limited, but great hot stuff and pastries.
Sadly last night was awful, crazy, screaming women next door, and we were in an adjoining room, so little sound insulation, until 1.30 am, staff tried to stop it, but no success. Not sure what the answer is, but there must be something they can do, we were just one of many complainants.
