The nicest hotel in which I have stayed in Switzerland with a stunning view of the lake from my large and comfortable room. The in-room hammam was a great extra. The hotel is also a short walk from Geneva’s shopping district.

The hotel is a historical institution that must be experienced. The premises are super clean and quiet, the staff treats you so special and generous. Nice small gym is also very nice. Everyone I encountered were very nice and professional. Highly recommended.

We only stayed here for one night but I wish we had more time! The staff was very friendly. Our reservation didn't immediately show up on our arrival, and because of the slight "inconvenience", we were upgraded to a suite! The bathtub was luxurious and the view was amazing. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a luxurious experience!

The Beau Rivage has everything you expect from a five star hotel. Not I my is the property magnificent but the staff are very professional and helpful. The location is ideal for tourist but the hotel remains very elegant and not touristy.

The hotel is in a lovely location and the staff is extremely professional and kind.. Although the hotel is historic, the condition is a bit worn such as carpets, woodwork, paint, etc. We received an upgrade to a spacious suite with a perfect view. Overall, it is a very nice hotel for staying in Geneva!

In 2018, we had a lovely stay at this property, so this week we scheduled a return for two nights. However, due to the snow storm in the NE USA, we spent two days in the airport unable to get out. Thus, each day we were about to miss our check in at the Beau Rivage, we informed them and Expedia of our physical ability to arrive. When we inquired at the hotel about a refund, we were told it wasnt up to them, but to contact the booking company (Expedia). Expedia was prompt, understanding and helpful. However, they said the refund was up to the hotel, not them. So Expedia contacted the hotel on our behalf and were told “As the customers credit card was already charged, we can not refund.” Does this make any sense at all? So, beware of run-arounds and total lack of sensitivity at the beautiful Beau Rivage in Geneva!

We arrived at 1:30 and lunch was no longer being served. The room was in need of an update..touch up paint and recovering of couch. Plusses for this hotel are: premium bedding, a welcome gift of madeleines, the wonderful location and the lovely music in the piano bar. Exquisite flowers adorn the lobby. Slight negatives: dont plan to get into your room any earlier than 15:00.

I have stayed previously at this hotel. I had stayed in higher category rooms. This time in a deluxe lake view room. The views are outstanding. however this room was tired and in need of renovation, with an old bathroom. I know that there are renovated rooms in the hotel. At this price level and given the reputation of the Beau Rivage, they need to upgrade these rooms. Otherwise at this price level there ar many other superior hotels in Geneva. I was laso a little let down by breakfast in this visit. Croissants were not fresh etc. Again, at this price level you expect better.

This is a beautiful, old hotel centrally located on the Quay and downtown. Our room was spacious and elegantly decorated. The staff were outstanding. The one little thing that I did not like was the traffic noise.
