We spent a week at this hotel with 2 teenage daughters. It is a very beautiful and elegant building and the hotel was an important part of our Seville experience. Set around a lovely courtyard, with a restaurant, terrace bar\restaurant and cocktail bar, with severwl live music events over the week (jazz, piano etc). The saltwater outdoor swimming pool is lovely.
Breakfast is great, a good range of cooked foods, fresh fruit, granola, nuts etc, fish, cold meats and salads. Also fresh bread, pastries and cakes.
Shutters and decent glazing mean that even street facing rooms are quiet and dark and the beds are comfortable.
Concierge were helpful for local information and all the staff we encountered were friendly and professional.
Such a central position, that you are in walking distance of many of the main sites.

Clearly the grand hotel of Seville. Its location is great and it stands out as a landmark of the town. For a very old property it was well maintained. The only real shortcoming was the service. The concierge didn’t respond before our stay about transportation even though they sent an email reaching out. In person the team always seemed to be distracted with something else rather than customers. The pool service was quite spotty. On the plus side, the front desk crew were very good and the staff at breakfast worked very hard. The cleaners were friendly and efficient.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at the best! Would highly recommend, great staff, great location and the hotel itself has one of the nicest courtyards in the world, yes I said the world. Stay here with no hesitation whatsoever
And get the breakfast, it’s incredible. Enjoy Sevilla, you need a miinimum of 3 days

Check in and being shown to our room wasn’t to the standard of a 5 star hotel unfortunately. The check in girl dealing with us looked concerned the whole time and went away to check things making us feel there was an issue with the booking. The girl showing us to the room forgot to show us where the pool was. Beautiful hotel in centre of the city, no comfortable day bar if you don’t want to sit at the pool either.
The greeting note with chocolates in the room was addressed to someone else.
To me the small details were overlooked for a hotel of this calibre.
The 5:30pm daily tour of the hotel didn’t happen, even we waited in reception we were ignored.

Hotel is blessed with amazing infrastructure (the lift is a highlight!) and it's gorgeous; however, it is dated. Service at the front desk, concierge, and bell desk is superb - definitely 5*, but staff in restaurants, pool, bar were on the opposite. Often forgot orders, took a long time to arrive, or got the order/bill wrong. Real shame about that because the hotel itself has so much potential to offer, and in a perfect location. The garden can also do with some priming too...

Arrived room unavailable, but front desk took phone number and said would make it priority as had no response from front desk concierge with help in booking tour. Went to bar for drink , waited an age to be served, again when wanting another drink , staff seem to vanish. Had to go to front desk to check if room was ready, as no phone call whilst waiting served person behind us, eventually got room keys, but again after a long wait called reception asking where our luggage was, only then did it arrive. Room was lovely, bed comfy. Breakfast was excellent, vast range on offer. For the cost of room expected better service, will not return

Could not fault this hotel. Absolutely wonderful. The only reason not 5 star for cleanliness was the American Bar was not clean when we visited it. Dirty plates and glasses left on the bar which was a shame because the rest of the hotel was faultless

We had a great stay at the hotel! The staff went above and beyond offering 5 star customer service. The food was incredible for breakfast buffet and dinner in the main restaurant. The pool is clean and offers a great break from the extreme heat. Located in the center of everything you’d want to see! Would definitely return.

It is a very special building and location. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was outstanding in terms of its offer of choice.
However the mattress felt old and soft and squeaked loudly. Not what you expect in an premium hotel. When we arrived at 4pm the room wasn't ready so we were kindly offered a drink and the charming man at reception said he would bring the key to us when it was ready. He forgot and 50mins later we had to follow it up. He had forgotten our names and that he promised to bring the key. I felt this was poor and for all his charm it seemed insincere. We had travelled from Madrid where we stayed in a less expensive hotel and the service and quality of the room was far superior.
