Location was very convenient. Staff was helpful and kind. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and safe. I will definitely return to this location. There were no frills like a microwave or a fridge, but with the onsite cafè, we didnt need one.

I love this motel. It is so fun and stylish. It is super clean. The beds and pillows are amazing, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. I will stay here again, and recommend this place to everyone.

The hotel is very nice in a great location at a great price. The only drawback is they do not serve any hot coffee. There is no coffee pots in the rooms. They have a restaurant that apparently opens at 7am. We have stayed there 3 times. The last 2 times we were there they opened late once and did open at all the next time. This can easily rectified by having a coffee pot in the lounge and letting people make their own coffee and charging them for it. A lot of us need our morning coffee and if this is not fixed I doubt that we will stay there again.

Staff were efficient and professional but lacked welcoming feeling. Felt they were just there to do a job. Was there for a celebration and got back very late only to have housekeeping knock on the door and woke us up only to have them return at 9am and woke us up again after we reminded them check out wasn’t until 11.

There was a young lady at the front desk who gave me a really hard time at the check in. I requested to speak to the manager, and it took about an hour and a half. Finally the manager helped me out, however, the young girl lacked the knowledge, ins and outs of the check in process. As of now, I am not planning to go back to Rambler hotel ever again.

This hotel was amazing! It was in a great location as well. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The little cafe inside is perfect!

Affordable, clean, safe motel just south of San Diego. Easy and free parking. Close to the highway. Shower head and pressure was amazing.

Had a nice stay here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and I also noticed the cleaning staff cleaning the outside walk ways which I never notice at any places I’ve been to, very impressive. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Definitely will book here again

The weather was great. The air was fresh outside. I walked into the motel room and it smelled like not pleasant not fresh a little too much like cleaner I had to get used to the smell. It wasn’t dirty. I loved the high water pressure in the shower. Lots of hot water and tons of volume. Who cares about the environment when you have such a great experience in the shower

The fun atmosphere was remarkable, especially for the price. We had fun in the arcade, at the pool and playing a large jenga game by the fire outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The Trolley blue line was only about a three minute walk, which was so convenient. I can’t wait to go back!

Very clean and very respectful and welcoming staff. Our room was right in front of the pool, so we could hear people the following morning, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Definitely would stay here again. The food in the café was actually really good and fairly priced too.

The staff was so friendly. The room and beds were comfortable. We arrived a night earlier than expected and they accommodated us. I will definitely be back.

For the most part, everything was great. I agree with others when they say it would be nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave. Also, the landline telephone didn’t work. I look at that as a necessity. Yes, I have a cell phone, but you never know.

This place is awesome, seems like guests were having a good time by the pool lounging and listening to music. They have snacks,coffee and food in their cafe but there is also options for restaurants nearby walking distance.

Fun retro style throughout the motel, and we enjoyed the cafe and arcade games. Hotel staff were kind and provided a kettle upon a request. However, the room smelled strongly (similar to smoke) when we entered, and the AC blew black dust at the side of one of our beds. There was also a $20 fee per night for renting a mini fridge. The room was otherwise clean and spacious, and the location was convenient.

Was given a room initially that had a AC unit that was not working properly, making the room very hot even at night. Then later that morning, the following day found ants in the restroom, crawling through the keyhole and landing even in the shower as me and my partner were showering. Staff at the front desk was kind enough to give me a new room located in the middle of the motel area to ensure that there was no ants new room was cleaner AC unit was working properly and the rest of the state was better just wish that we wouldn’t have been given the bad experience of having a room that had a broken AC unit and potential of ants

The Rambler was better than I thought it was going to be. The room was comfortable and clean. The only issue for me was the bathroom was small and there were 3 of us but only got 2 towels. The beds were a good size, and it was quiet overall. No parties or loud neighbors. The staff was friendly and the lobby area was nicely designed for a younger age vibe. It has seating areas, video games, coffee bar and eatery. I recommend it if you want a decent place to stay and save money.

So amazing will definitely be back!! Staff was beyond amazing...the gentleman during the day and the woman at night. The coffee shop attached gives guests 40% off..the food was superb and was EXTREMELY affordable. Definitely recommend the Avocado Toast and the Turkey Club. The rooms were spacious, AC worked great, shower had great water pressure. Cute motif in the rooms , parking was easy and they closed the gate so i didnt feel like my car was easily accessible to outsiders while i was asleep. 10/10 cant wait to visit again Thanks Rambler Staff ... doing it the way it should be done everywhere!

The hotel was cozy. The bed was comfy, AC was pretty loud. The only thing I didn’t like was the place had some sort of sewage smell.

This is a straight up motel- however it is so cute! They have done a great job remodeling it and making it kitschy. There is a cute cafe onsite that makes a good coffee and they played a movie outside at night at the pool. The rooms are small and there is no fridge, microwave, or iron and ironing board but they are clean and comfy. The area is kind of far out from the actual city but it’s an easy drive and it’s cheap. Very good value for the money.

Room quiet comfortable clean. I like to pack sandwiches for my trips. This room had no fridge, coffee maker or microwave which is basic for hotel rooms. I feel like this is the way of forcing people to spend money in their cafeteria. Otherwise, staff is friendly. The pool was nice.
