Didn’t have smart TV in the room

I stayed here because of the location.I attended a concert at the coliseum next door. Besides that and how comfortable the ned n pillows were? The hotel was plain.Advertisement claims rooftop bar- never saw one and then on friday night the bar they did have closed as the concert was ending. At 1045. Staff was not ride but they wasnr friendly as should be. My room was on top 16th floor and had balcony with sliding doors but they had the balconys to where the slding door was not able to open but like 4 inches .hotel is aging and is suppose to be top notch simce its a marriot .it was clean but it could use air freshners or aomething smelly good.

Extremely close to the Charleston Coliseum. Carpet on 4th floor is a trip/fall hazard due to area that appear loose. Shower got warm but not hot enough to use.
Low level noise from light bulbs created a sensory issue for daughter.
Paid $16 per person for the breakfast buffet was a under whelming with wet scrambled eggs and extremley limited selection of cheap conental breakfast foods.
Check in/out employees were short and dismissive. On check out I was not asked about my stay and had to request my receipt twice to have it printed.
However, the service in the dining area was exceptional!
Room was very clean and comfortable.
Bottom line, I will not stay here again. I will be staying one street over where parking and large beffett breakfast are free, more convenient, and exceptional service at the Holiday Inn.

The linens were not properly cleaned and smelled of mildew. There was no fridge nor microwave in the room as would have been expected at this price and type of hotel. But the staff were friendly!

The staff was the best part of this hotel - everyone was super friendly! The hotel isn’t terrible, but it’s pretty old, the furniture, decor, etc is very dated it’s in an area I wouldn’t walk around in town.

The rooms are in need of renovations. I did not find my room to be exceptionally clean.
We did enjoy dinner at the restaurant/bar in the lobby. The food was good and service was amazing.

Good stay. We were passing through the area on a driving trip. The staff were great! Only issue was the HVAC was a little underpowered. Otherwise, great stay!

Overall, our stay at the Charleston Marriott Town Center was all right. We got in late, and left early, so we didn't have much time to form a really strong opinion.
On the positive side, they were able to switch us to a room more accommodating to the number of people in our party, which was nice.
On the less positive side, a sign in the elevator indicated that food from the kitchen/restaurant was available until 11 p.m., but the front desk informed me that they actually stopped serving food at 10 p.m., which meant we had to order delivery from one of the few places still open in the area. We ended up getting food, but it would certainly have been more convenient if the sign in the elevator had been accurate.
Marriotts are generally decent stays, and there is no reason I wouldn't stay here again. (I'd just try to check in a little earlier!)

The hotel is dated and rundown. Several advertised amenities were closed - Pavilion, Pool. Clear the staff does not care about service.

The sales Director would not allow me to rent the small conference room. It was absolutely outrageous. All we needed to do was sit in there for an hour and watch some video. I would never been treated so poorly by staff before. All the general staff at the desk in the hotel were fantastic. One person ruined our experience.

Property is dated but well maintained. Marriott beds very comfortable as always. Was most pleasantly surprised by how good the dining was. Had a delicious arugula salad which at first seemed too big but ultimately was finished completely because it was so good! A pork chop with demi glaze, broccolini and fingerling potatoes was equally delicious.

We had a short stay. The restaurant had some nice dinner selections. The hall carpet needs updating…very tired and lumpy. (Marriott hotels are usually decorated better.) The staff was professional and the room was clean. We had great breakfast nearby at First Watch.

3 elevators, only 1 worked. AC turned off for over 24 hrs without notification. Restaurant closed for dinner without notification until asked why. No communication between staff and guests. Horrible experience

The customer service at check-in was welcoming and accommodating. We were not impressed with the uncleanliness of the bathroom and the rooms looked "dated".

The air conditioning doesn’t work and the hotel can’t give an estimate on when it will be repaired. We notified them five hours ago and it’s still not fixed.

The property was in a good location but the staff was rude, not helpful at all, the rooms were very outdated as well as the whole property. The tv barely worked and all of the channels were very low picture quality. It did not feel safe. They charge $15 a day for parking but the garage is old and run down and the key card reader is all smashed up so unusable so anyone can just drive in and park and leave whenever they want. Not worth $15 a day at all especially since there was a nicer garage right across the street charging $2. Everything was self serve which I actually don’t mind but they only had three luggage carts and very slow elevators. We would definitely not stay here again.

The hotel overall was ok but could have been better. Every surface of our room was very dusty. Left dust on our fingers. The bathroom counter was dirty as well has dirt on the shower floor and hair on the toilet. The bed was not made very well either. They no longer have a pool even though it was advertised and have pool listed on their sings.
