Only really bad about this place was the beds were not comfortable!

Slow check-in at 10:30pm but very nice and pleasant employee. Said the system was slow.

It was a nice hotel however my toilet get restarting so I had to jiggle the flusher for it to stop. Half the channels did not come in and the bed was kinda hard

I had a great time staying at The Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park/Metcalf. The staff was very friendly and helpful if i had any questions. The property was very clean and the staff was always working to ensure it stayed that way.

Stayed during renovations, so it wasn’t as clean as normal for obvious reasons. Can’t complain as this is my usual spot to stay in KC.

These are not queen beds but a long shot. Full at biggest. There was no breakfast, no indoor pool which are a must for families with children. The elevators are in a super inconvenient location, you have to walk half way down the hallway of the first floor.

I enjoyed staying there, staff was very nice and friendly, they made sure our needs were being met.

Although there was construction on-going the service was excellent and everything was first class from checking in to the room condition. Thank you for keeping a high level standard.

Last minute reservation via Expedia. Decent rate for a weekend. Only downside was that they were renovating and the main entrance was completely gated and blocked off. Staff was courteous and the room was great.

Nice and quiet stay.

I have stayed 2 times at this hotel now and each time has been an enjoyable experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. Its nice having the little bistro to grab coffee & breakfast. Our room was very nice. It looked newly renovated. Beautiful luxurious feeling shower, very clean and comfortable beds. Modern furniture, clean carpets and a great balcony. Housekeeping was attentive and made sure to leave clean towels and refill the soaps, makes beds and tidy up. The only minor problem was our coffee maker didn't work, however it didn't matter enough to ask for it to be replaced. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Property was under renovation so the entrance and lobby were all torn up. Property and room were clean and cleaning staff friendly. NOT happy that the check in staff told me breakfast was NOT included and continued to say no, until I showed them my confirmation that it WAS included. No cook for breakfast any of the days I was there so breakfast was VERY limited. Walls not very insulated as I could hear the people in the room next to me through out the night (music, laughing loud talking and yelling).

The property was being renovated and should not charge full price during this time. Painting outside could blow on cars so we parked far away! Parking lot blocked by trucks. So much inconvenience. Bathroom sink drain did not work and was not fixed during 2 night stay.

They were undergoing some renovations during the stay. I'm going to dock them on property condition or area around the property, everything else was great.

The staff was very welcoming, I didn't get the name of the man who checked us in, and wish I had because I would give him a great review through the hotel. He made several recommendations for restaurants nearby, and was generous about a late check out. We were there for business and only stayed one night. The location was great, anything and everything was 5 minutes or less from the hotel. The beds were comfortable, There was a fridge in the room. The property is under construction, the lobby area and our room were nice. I was disappointed the room had a tiny coffee maker with very generic coffee. They do serve Starbucks in the lobby bar/breakfast area at a charge. Breakfast and/or coffee are not included, with exception of small outdated and aged coffee maker in room. Purpose of trip was business, with an exam the morning after our stay, planned on studying that morning, and had to pack up quickly and leave due to construction noises which began around 8:45 to 9:00am. It was so loud we could not hear each other, and that isn't an exaggeration. It sounded like they had four drills going at once in our room, even though it was in a room close to us, not in our room. That level of noise, I'd think should start AFTER check out time. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again once remodeling is complete. If you plan on sleeping until 8:30 or relaxing in the morning, I recommend asking the for a room away from construction.

This hotel is not at all what it claims to be. There was no eatery/bar. It was closed the entire time we stayed there. There was no pool, it is cemented in. This was very disappointing to the kids. The hotel is under major construction, which there is no mention of in the website. The exterior of the hotel looks absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website.

Got there at 4:30 and still had to wait 15 minutes for the room to be cleaned. Front desk lady was helpful and felt bad but…

The floors were nasty and I paid for breakfast for my family but they said they could not find me for breakfast and my family never got to eat.

Property was clean but dated! Hotel is apparently renovating at the moment! The clerk advised me I needed to check with the personal in the morning to see what breakfast is available to me??? No thanks I’ll pass!

Pretty good place to stay. A little far from Kansas City. I would stay again.

Very nice hotel

Very easy to find. Nice, cooperative, professional staff

The stay itself was excellent. The only negative is that I got a knock at the door at 7:30AM from room service to clean my room. Recommend a 8:30AM or 9AM start on knocking on doors and unless the front desk knows that someone has checked out sooner.
