Horrible place, wasted two days of my precious Hawaiian vacation, suffered through the night at this outdated dirty property, with AC in the wall barely blowing any cool air, plus it is plugged in through a timer with max 4 hours, so it shuts down in the middle of the night, you have to get up to set it again.
Dirt in bathroom, wall is taped with duck tape, kitchen terrible shape, stove smells when turned on, fridge was not cleaned.
Hotel refused to refund.

We had a 5th floor condo with a beautiful ocean view. Amazing sunsets every night. The property was very clean and lots of fun things to do.

Maui Sunset absolutely knocked our socks off. The location is great, the grounds are beautiful and the pool was a favourite for our boys.
212A was stocked with a cooler, four beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear and sand toys for our youngest. The condo stayed cool, tons of room and the sleeping set up was great. We finished every night off sitting on the patio enjoying a drink, watching everyone enjoy this beautiful property. WE WILL BE BACK 🙌🙌🙏✋➡️✋

I absolutely loved Maui Sunset. The property is so well maintained. Everyone is nice. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The beach is perfect for walking on the beach, watching people surf and fish. Our condo was great, perfect for the three of us. Wonderful view of the ocean. The pool is wonderful, we enjoyed it twice a day. And the location is perfect, near shopping, activities and dining. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Overall good experience. North of the best beaches within a 20 minute drive. Glad we got a car. Condo well stocked with all you need to cook, dishes, 1 wine glass which was odd, but other glasses. Dish and dishwashing soap, but no laundry soap. No Tuperwear or food storage containers, trash bags, tin foil, or cooler which was disappointing. Two blow dryers, sand castle making buckets, 2 sets of snorkel fins for small feet & 4 beach towels. Some dirty dishes left behind by last guest and food particles left in the sink. 2 beach chairs, one a bit beat up. Lots of parking, pool small, but nice after long day at beach. Hot tub nice and hot. Grounds very well maintained. Beach is not really a swimming beach, very windy after 11am. Pull down twin bed in living room impressive since it was very comfortable. Great having two bathrooms. Air conditioning was a must and worked well.

Beautiful and stunning grounds. Impeccably maintained even saw the bbqs being scrubbed down and sanitized regularly. My pool keys were not ready when I got there so we had a loaner key for a grown up family of 4 and staff never bothered to contact us about another one even though we asked twice.
Our 5 sleeper unit was large and spacious. Bedding given is a thin fuzzy blanket and a sheet. Pillows are lovely. Air conditioners are not great. Turn off after 4 hours and you have to get up to turn them back on. They make a loud thudding noise when they are running.

Our unit was very dated and was in need of an update to the decor, countertops and other things such as the kitchen fixtures. The pullout couch was extremely thin and was very uncomfortable and when we asked if they had a mattress topper we were given extra blankets instead. We saw several other units that appeared to have been remodeled with updated flooring, fixtures and furniture. The location was nice but it was very windy every afternoon so the beach was not useable.

Good location , beach is not for kids to play because there is a lot of rocks :-(, condo is outdated but in a good location. Ac unit turns off every 4 hours and that is annoying to be waking up and turn all the 3 units during the night.

The only negative about our stay was a water leak in the master bathroom, which we reported to the maintenance folks on the first day of arrival. Nobody ever called us about the issue and nobody came to check on the issue

The washing machine in our unit started billowing smoke out of the closet. It was just before 8pm and I wasn't able to reach anyone on property grounds for assistance until the following day. They have an after hrs phone tree that sends you in circles to people who can't/won't assist. We had to pack up and moved to a different unit only to find it had a cockroach and fly (dead flies everywhere) issue. Hospitality was not at the top of the list for staff members as they all had a "not my job" attitude when we needed assistance. There was a large number of MAGA supporters staying there boasting their political stance via paraphernalia etc. It was ugly and made for an uncomfortable experience.

They mowed the grass down to the dirt, and it went everywhere… ended up on the 5th story balcony and balcony rails. Not to mention it was weak, the whole time I was there. The condo was clean-ish. The washer took a dump on me and had to be repaired. Really nowhere to go in the beach, but they did clean the pool everyday.

The two bedroom condo is in very good conditions. What I loved the most was the view sunset was gorgeous. My kids 4 and 7 had a great time at the pool the whole stay. They ran around on the grass area and we felt safe. This unit made us feel like at home but with a beautiful view. I did not feel comfortable letting the kids at the beach but we took walks and enjoyed the view. A lot of other kids friendly beaches like 6 minutes drive. The unit comes with all you need for your beach day (umbrella, beach chairs, beach toys, towels, cooler, bag, etc) it was awesome! We would love to come back soon.

This is my second time staying at Maui Sunset the unit and the grounds are clean and in excellent shape my only complaint this time was the unit we stayed in the beach chairs were on there last leg literally that being said I still would stay there again

We had a wonderful time staying here! The beach was only steps away and the sunsets were beautiful! The outdoor grounds were well maintained and it was close to shopping and restaurants. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) and it was perfect for us!
