The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and there were complimentary bottled waters, which we appreciated after a lot of walking that day. Loved the ambience and the breakfast was good! They served scrambled eggs and sausages. Other hotels just had boiled eggs and cold cuts. This hotel is close to the Chapel Bridge, Jesuit Church, other tourist areas and lots of restaurants!

We spent one night at the hotel, and luckily it was just one. The bathroom was very small and super old, with 80's furniture, and not in good shape. The "shower" was supersmall and dirty, with dark area around the shower drain.
The sleeping area was dirty: there were a couple of spiderwebs, a dead insect smashed on the ceiling and one of the light was missing the toggle so it was unusable.
One of the 2 water bottles was already open.
The room is not sound proof, and as a matter of fact, we woke up on sunday morning at 6:30 by the vibration of the phone in the room behind ours. And on top, one of the workers came to knock at our door, apparently by mistake, while we sleeping, and had to woke up and get up for nothing.
The worst is that the bedroom wasn't cheap at all.
I am sorry to say this, but we didn't like at all the experience.

Hotel was within 10 minutes distance from train station and we could walk to all the attractions in Lucerne by foot although you can board buses in zone 10 for free when the hotel registers you. Excellent breakfast. My only complaint is the TV was mounted high up touching ceiling so you could only watch it lying down unless you want a sore neck.

We had a nice room with a nice view of the château on the hill. The bathroom was on the older side but worked out just fine. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good although crowded at 7am. It was pouring rain when we arrived so it was nice that they offered umbrellas. The bus stop was right around the corner and only a short ride to the train station.

This Hotel as very small but the staff was very helpful and it was decently close to everything. The breakfast was also includef which was nice.

Location was good except that there is a bar directly across the street and at 1am the patrons stand outside and talk very loudly. I requested 3 bed; one was a sofa bed that was broken. The man at the front desk was going to send someone but never showed. Next day housekeeping put the broken pieces back and pretended all was ok. The bed was horribly uncomfortable with most of the slats broken or missing. The other beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. Breakfast was good and i liked the location- other than the bar of course. I can also say that it was hot,and the fans provided were decent. However, i would strongly suggest that if you are visiting Lucerne in summer you should pay more for a hotel with AC.

I am sorry to say, but the room vás dirty

There is no staff for any service required. Complimentary breakfast was just ok and staff at breakfast area were rude. Bathroom doors are transparent and keep opening; no locking inside; also, bathroom doors don’t close completely. Overall I don’t like this hotel rooms.

Great location but very, very simple and the main photo that caused us to book the hotel could not be found. There’s supposedly was Peruvian cuisine, but they were not open. Do not miss the covered Woodbridge down on the lake. That was definitely the highlight of the whole town. Food was amazing at the Rathouse.

Everything goes smoothly specially with the luggage storage. The only downside is no air conditioner.

Stayed two nights on a family vacation. Location was walkable to many restaurants and sites. Condition of hotel is ok. Price was high for quality of finishes and amenities. Mold on caulk in shower, no AC and quite loud on street with windows open. Coffee pod machine but no pods given, one mug for a reservation of four guests. There is room for improvement. Breakfast is acceptable with eggs, toast, fruit, pastries, meat and cheese.

Good location and good breakfast but bedrooms are small, dated and noisy (if facing the street). Bathrooms are terrible- very dated (I suspect + 30 year old) facilities - a totally unsuitable slipper bath serving as a shower with aging fittings. The poor maintenance on everything make to rooms dull and depressing. A 3 star hotel is of course going to have limitations but these rooms are very disappointing

We have stayed here twice. The rooms are clean and nice. I would give it 5 stars but our shower had black spots in the sealant along the base, looks very unsightly and the shower glass door wouldn't slide closed without having to physically lift the thing up as you slide it, a pain in the butt. Otherwise we like staying here because it is very convenient to the river and bridges, not too expensive (for Switzerland), the front desk is great and the breakfast is very good! I will stay again :)

Checked in with a gentleman who was very cordial and helped us stow our bags to wait until the 3:00 pm check in. I don’t recall his name because no one offers names or wear name tags.
Rooms do not have air conditioning but do have fans which “can circulate air”.
We checked out Sunday morning at 7:00 am to make the 15 minute walk to the train station. No one at the desk and there was a barricade pulled down in front of the desk. Upon arrival at the station, I realized I accidentally left my camera and charging cord pack behind on the desk in our room. I knew it as soon as we got on the train. I attempted to call the hotel…no answer. I finally got ahold of them at 12 noon when we reached Heidelberg. I was told they would check my room, “please call back in five minutes.” I did, I spoke with an entirely different person 7 minutes later. He informed me his associate was still checking. He came back and told me nothing was in the room and it was now clean. I offered a reward for its return and explained that it’s return would be appreciated if it was found. I said I’d call back in the morning to check after the cleaning staff returned. We placed at least 6 calls for my personal phone which went unanswered.
It’s my error, I left it behind and that’s on me. But I knew exactly where I left it and knew it in 20 minutes. Watch your belongings it would seem this place may be run by less than reputable people. 1 star, if I could give a zero, I would.

The staff went far and beyond to make our stay really enjoyable and unforgettable. The hotel is very nice and very close to the old city.

Budget-midrange hotel in central Luzern with easy access to everything. Friendly staff and good breakfast. A bit worn down and my single room did not even have a small desk or table although there was space for it. Just a chair against the wall did not meet my standards neither for working nor eating a take away dinner.

Pros: Good location for walking, public transportation, and sights. Yummy breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom left a lot to be desired for- pictures definitely looked better. Shower/tub was small and awkward. When checking in received a key for an occupied room which led to an awkward encounter.

Hotel is really well located and a good breakfast provided however rooms and bathrooms lacked lustre and could to with some renovation.

Excellent Breakfast. Good rooms. Rooms had fans. Complementary water bottles. They stored my bags after check out. 5 minutes walk to Luzern Center area. Front desk very good and helpful. If you are checking in late, you need to call them because they are not open late. They will provide code to enter the hotel and collect keys.
