Friendly and efficient staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Although we didn’t take advantage of the amenities, they looked great.

The Cabins at Mackinac was nice but I thought I booked a cabin. It was a hotel room instead. Had I been staying longer than one night I would have been disappointed

We booked this property because it has a pool and we have a six year old.... the pool was closed and there was no mention of it on the reservation at all. My child was super disappointed.

I had booked in advance but a last minute issue prevented us from staying. I called the hotel directly and was told there was nothing they could do due to 3rd party booking. I spent 30 minutes on chats with Expedia only to find out too late that I was being charged fully with no concessions.

Close to everything we were doing while in Port Huron.

Toilet was not cleaned properly. Check in clerk was excellent. Very professional and attentive. Pool was very dirty.

Breakfast had a lot of healthy options and right off the highway. Would come back again!

Very poor beds and pillows.

No staff at check in. He was "called away". Tub drain slow in shower so standing in water. Coffee awful. Generally a rather tired roadside hotel

Inside of the building is a little bit dated and the pool chlorine level is incredibly strong. Outside of that the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean with comfy beds and all the amenities you would expect. I would stay here again.

Excellent Staff - especially at front desk

Our second stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Port Huron. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy. Room was clean, extra towels in room upon our arrival. Great selection for the complementary breakfast, fresh fruit oranges, strawberries, banana, kiwi. We enjoyed our stay!

I rented a room here because of the hotel's "9" rating. I'm leaving this review, because I think that people should know that the hotel didn't feel like a nine. First, the good. Every person who I spoke with was very nice and helpful. I especially appreciated the nice maintenance man who tried to help me get the washer and dryer to work. Now, here are some expamples of why I don't think that the hotel should be rated so highly. First, the nice maintenance man should not be responsible for fixing washers and dryers that are so old. They should be replaced. Even the old detergent vending machine was broken. When you walk onto the elevator, there are cracked tiles, scratched paint, a missing elevator inspection sign, and for some reason they have decided to store the big orange "Wet Floors" sign hanging on the elevator rail. The floors were never wet while I was there. The hall ceilings are made of office acoustic tiles, and in the room they are popcorn ceilings. When they updated the rooms, they left the same old short bathtub and tub faucets. The bathtub faucet's caulk was torn, so it pulls away from the wall when you turn it on. So water gets inside the walls, too. In addition, the bathroom sink didn't drain well.

Stayed one night. Staff was very friendly, room clean. Good variety for breakfast.
