Our flight from Iceland to Chicago was cancelled July 15, 2024 and the hotel graciously changed the date for our hotel stay to July 16, 2024, however, our flight ended up being delayed and changed, we never stayed at the hotel and were charged as we knew we would be. I did ask for a credit voucher once I knew our flight was changed again but never heard back from the hotel. I am thankful they considered my first request though. I will try to recap my $169 loss through my credit card company as it wasn’t my fault I could not stay. Thanks Marriott.

Wendy looked after us on check-in. She also checked us out and she was WONDERFUL. Our stay was quiet comfortable and exactly what we needed.

Decent hotel. There was a Starbucks, a Friday's, and fresh water in the lobby.

Dated musty but convenient and clean

We arrived late in the evening but the staff was very helpful. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel had good food.

Paying for parking

I reviewed the information on your hotel to verify hotel parking. It stated hotel parking was free and I was charged on my receipt for parking. I was very dissatisfied with this charge.

Major issues with check-in as the room cards issued did not work. After a flight and travel activities, i just want to relax. Not to be as I had to walk from the furthest part of the hotel back to the desk, I wasn't impressed, to say the least. After being questioned about what i had tried to get in, it was a touch card lock for heaven’s sake! I was issued two new keys. Didn’t work a second time after my long hike back. Fortunately the manager was shortly behind me to make sure I could get in. Her card worked perfectly. Maintenance had to reprogram the lock. For my trouble and frustration, the front desk offered what looked like two free appetizer coupons to the attached restaurant. No, it required me to buy an entree to get the appetizer. Gee, thanks. I gave the hotel just an average rating as it just wasn't as crisp and nice as similar courtyard stays I’ve had recently. It was a bit worn and as a guest, I felt the whole experience was just ok. Might try other nearby properties next time.

Pillows are hard and flat. Hair on the bathroom floor. Wear and tear throughout especially the elevators. Wonderful staff, though.

The rooms could use some upgrades , larger TV and color scheme. Front desk reps were very helpful and polite
