It was convenient to access Whistler Village, and the valet parking service was very convenient. The spacious pool could be used both indoors and outdoors, and there were three large hot tubs, which was a great bonus. The room had a table for four with chairs, various cups and utensils, a microwave, washer and dryer, and a large refrigerator, making it very convenient to prepare breakfast. However, there was a nightclub on the first floor of the building, so we could hear the thumping noise and feel vibrations past 11 p.m. Fortunately, the noise only bothered the adults; the kids slept soundly through the night and told us in the morning that they didn’t hear a thing. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

The doors have too big of cracks in them letting light in right to the bed. The bathtup spout was broken and was stuck on the tub setting had to pry it with a screw driver to use the shower.

Some maintenance issues in the room could be improved such as the door to living room hardly closing, power socket next to the bed not working, keys not working properly etc.

We always have a great time at the Delta all seasons of the year. The location is convenient and the staff are very friendly. The beds are comfortable as well.

The property is in a nice location but on the outskirts of the village. The attached restaurant is very good and the bike rental shop helpful as well.
Staff was very accommodating and helpful but the building could use some work - jacuzzis were not working during our stay.

I am a fan of Marriott and have gold status with it. This time I booked through Expedia due to a better deal with Amex.
Delta hotel Whistler has been a good experience prior to this however my current stay it was sub par.
1. Reception was rude and wasn’t living up to Marriotts value of service.
2. The hygiene was poor, I took a tea pot out of kitchen cabinet and it had leftover tea from previous guests.
3. Bell boy and housekeeping staff were nice and only good thing about the service this time.
Hopefully next time is not the same as this experience otherwise I’ll have to find another place to be regular at while in Whistler

Uncomfortable beds, small rooms, weird layout

The staff when I checked in was extremely rude and continued to give me a very hard time why I didn’t let them know I had a dog coming. I told her I called and was on hold for over an hour and no one picks up the phone. It will be the last time I come and stay at the delta whistler. The room blindes at stains in them and a hole in them. Even when I booked this we put down we were here for my birthday when booking and nothing mentioned at it checking in except just talking to me in a manner no one should be talked to.

Hotel overall is nice. 2 things - sofa bed the sheets are dirty. We are in 2 bedrooms suite. Both of the rooms, the outlet on the side table is not working.

I felt the room was extremely small for what you pay and the air conditioning in the room sounds like an industrial fan when it kick on. It was so loud it was waking me up when it started during the night.

The room smelled like cooking grease. The overhead fan in the room didn’t work and it smelled like someone had cooked bacon. Cutlery was dirty. Pool was dirty and several times I saw guests cleaning the pool. The pull out bed was like sleeping on a bench. Would not stay here again.

We had room 1511 Air conditioning didn't seem to function and was extremely noisy. Also bathroom fan would not turn off. TV in bedroom had bad connection so cannot be watched. Door lock did not work well. Normally everything is good when we stay here . Not sure what has happened since our last visit

We stayed for 3 nights..had heard some bad reviews but did not find any issue.. it was smooth checking .. we had taken the kitchen suite and house keeping was daily.. they can but improve on cleaning as bothroom cleaning was not Upto the mark.. my kids enjoyed in pool. Overall it was good experience..

Walls are paper thin and can hear toilets and conversations in other rooms.
Room 1414/1416, a 2 bedroom suite, was like 2 separate rooms with an adjoining door- extremely awkward layout.
The 2nd bedroom with 2 singlebeds had only 1 lamp to the side of one of the beds. The second bed had NO lamp and there was no overhead light in the room.
The noise from the bar in the next building that we looked onto was unbearable until 03:00.
The umbrella provided by the hotel was broken.
It was my worst hotel experience in Whistler ever.
I go at least twice/yr and thought Id try a different hotel. But would not recommend thos one.
There are much better hotels to stay at.

We attended, unknown to us at booking, during a high school band festival. The entire weekend was screaming kids running up and down the hall, playing on the elevators, and ensuring that no other guests could utilize the pool are, sauna, or workout rooms. The staff was as frustrated as we were, but it was not a pleasant experience. We also had housekeeping wake us up two days in a row a 7am. One day was my mistake for not putting up the DND sign, but it was there the second day.

I waited a bit to get checked in as the room wasn’t ready yet at 4 but the room was spacious and good. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Or stay at Delta Village Suites made our stay very memorable. It’s centrally located near all of the shops and restaurants and right a 5 minute walk to the gondola at foot of the mountain.

Pool was under repair 3 of the 4 nights we were there. Kids were really disappointed, there were options to use their pool nearby but night swim and hot tub was difficult. Overall it was disappointing
