This is my first time writing a very long feedback with hotels. The hotel building and rooms assigned to us are not well maintained. I’ve read that this hotel is old but I expected that its old but well maintained thats why I still booked our stay here. And the fact that it is walkable to megamall and shangrila. But because its not safe to walk specially with kid,we still call for a cab. We plan to transfer to a different hotel but decided to stay because we have lots of luggages with us and hard to get a cab that can accomodates our bags. We arrived early and decided to do early checked in, the price for early checked in (7am) is like there per night price. I purchased thru expedia for 75cad per night but this early checked in I paid 91cad (7am-12nn). But were very tired and wanted to rest so we still took it. They placed us in one of the room in the 19th floor. Its a small room but doesnt bother us cause all we need was to take some rest. I used the washroom first and baby cockroaches went out from the sink hole. I just flushed them with water and didnt see them after. Yellowish stains/molds in the toilet bowl as well as in the walls in the bath tub. Hot and cold water is not functioning. Aircon is noisy like something metal is moving back and forth and sometimes it turned off. Small fridge is making noise from time to time. We tried to make it pass thinking it will be ok but it did not so I asked the front desk to transfer us in a different room which they provide it prom

Very near shopping malls

Room service disappointed. Menu items not available, or arrive cold or different TV service was a failure. Couldn’t fix it. No Netflix or cable channels Nickel and dime attitude, zero trust for any charges: can’t charge room service to the room. The buffet was mediocre not worth it. The people were pleasant but interactions felt fake.

The room I requested wasn’t ready when I checked in but was all sorted in the end. Always nice to stay at Richmonde Ortigas considering value for money at a prime location. Staff are all very helpful. Always ready to assist. It would be nice though if the rooms were a bit updated and bathrooms thoroughly cleaned.

I would say about this property is everything is great from the place to the staffs and food

I liked the overall hospitable environment. Most things were walking distance and you can always order delivery as food options. The front desk and concierge were accommodating.

the room was spacious and nice with good view. lighting can be improved. the lamp switches are confusing. the coffee cups were unwashed. i like the access to sauna.

This hotel looks and feels old. When I got inside my room. There was this either old room smell or maybe it used to be a smoking room. Caulking around the tub were coming off. You can tell it was not installed by a professional. The tub was showing it’s age and begging to be replaced. Some electrical outlets are broken and some don’t even have power. The carpet was really old. Staff during checkin and checkout were very professional and friendly. Breakfast buffet was not the Best but there were a lot of choices and they were delicious. The location of the hotel was not the best due it being a busy street. Be ready to leave an hour earlier than planned. It took me an hour by car to travel 3 miles. If possible use a motorcycle taxi. It’ll get you to your destination sooner. I’m not going back to this hotel. There are better hotels in the area. At least I tried it. Thanks Richmonde Hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel in a great location and close to everything

The restaurant staff can use a reminder , I.e. to be more mindful of guests. Several times was I cut off walking towards the door or to my table to make way for the staff.

Very nice hotel in a good area walking distance to SM Mall. Rooms were nice, great view on the 16th floor. Downside was the bed options for a family of 4 were not very convenient. 2 twins or 1 queen made it for a difficult Time sleeping.

Tried the junior suite this time, like how spacious it was. View was better. Love the location as always. Very convenient…shopping, restaurants, bank, church, etc. Bed wasn’t comfortable…need to be upgraded. Overall, it’s okay.

The property needs a major upgrade and refurbishment.

The property was the same during our stay 19 years ago .The building getting older, most of the fixtures, were not working that well, like the shower faucets.The tub were so deep,it’s hard to get in the shower. The towel rack were so high, I need a stick to get the towels to use. Cleaning the room is not everyday, that why it consumed a lot of dirt. No vacuuming everyday. Housekeeping was very poor, probably short of staff.

I didn’t like the tiny cockroach that was running around the room. Even saw one on the bed as we were leaving.

I stayed in a junior suite but the hotel was not good maintained! I will recommend a cleaner hotel if you are staying w a baby. Pro: Close to the centre mall Wifi is ok Cons: Very old and not maintained! All facilities are old like visiting a grandmother house. The TV desk cupboard was broken. If it is a room which has a door between other room you can hear the noise of the next person room. The baby crib was VERY DIRTY, it was brown. The curtains are supposed to be white but looks like it is brown now.

Although Richmonde hotel has been operating for a while now, the place is well maintained and clean. The price of the accomodations is really value for money, considering also the great location (walking distance to the nearby malls). We had a great stay here with my family and will definitely book again.

We had difficulty in the parking space but after waiting for a while, we were able to get assistance from the security guard for a space. The hotel is quite old but still clean and pleasant to stay.

Conveniently located within walking distance to malls and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have warm water in the bathroom. The only minus are the tubs which was difficult to get into as it has a high threshold for me.

The bathroom mixer of the shower can not be fixed to a temperature either boiling or cold , all bathroom is in terrible conditions , air conditioned noise and difficult to adjust , dusty carpet …

Hotel is old and not well maintained. The room has smell and it has cockroche. Very disappointed staying here.

I like that it’s not as crowded as other hotels.

Rooms are a little dated, need more power outlets or usb ports. Staff are very courteous and breakfasts is excellent. I would also suggest trying the ensaymada at the lobby coffee shop. Great location, close to everything we needed.

I like the location it was very nice and convenient for everyone because it surrounded by different stores like 7/11,Starbucks,Jollibee and 10 minutes walking you can go to SM Megamall,etc. The breakfast was also delicious and they served various of foods for the taste of their customers.I really like also the kind and service of the security staff and crew of the Hotel their are so generous.

With a booking it was odd that it took longer for me to register than another guest whose registration process started after mine was already initiated.
