The room was clean. Happy hour snacks were not very good and very minimal. The happy hour line at the reception was very long. The hotel was very busy with a conference and only one bartender so it was a little frustrating waiting in a long line. The staff was very very friendly.

Room was out dated and had holes in the walls. For the price that was paid room was not up to par. Water preasure was soso. Air conditioning was either so cold you could see your breathe or hot and stuffy. Could not get it comfortable in the room. Beds where terrible had a hard time sleeping. Stayed for two days and that was two days to many. We was in town from seattle and couldnt wait to leave the hotel. Then at check out waitied for almost 15 minutes for an elevator never got one so went down the stairs and checked out 5 min before noon. Lady at the front desk said lucky almost had to charge you extra very unprofessional in my opion.

No shuttle after 10PM. 😡
Our flight arrived late so we did not get to hotel until 1230AM. Get to room and discover the toilet is broken, it will not flush. No water in the tank. So tired just went to bed. Next morning we went out for lunch and shopping. Told the first desk personnel about broken toilet. They assured we it would be repaired. Returned to room around 5PM. They had not repaired the toilet. Tried to call front desk and it went to voicemail. I went down to front desk and told them the problem had not been repaired.
They gave me another room on a different floor. Now we had to pack up everything and move 5 heavy suitcases.
After we moved everything to new room. I needed to get a cold drink. So I went to ice machine on my floor. Only to discover the ice machine was broken. The next morning we discovered no hot water for the shower. After running the shower for 10 plus minutes it came up to a lukewarm temperature. We have stayed at this hotel before and never had any problems. Not impressed with this hotel now. Would not recommend it to anyone!

Amazing! Our only small complaint would be we wish the pool water would have been warm and not so cold and we wish there would have been a hot tub. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Came here with my significant other for a night away together. We were told the restaurant was open until 10 p.m. and we sat at a table around 8:45. We ordered two drinks and were ignored entirely until we walked up to the bar to say we needed our check. We figured we'd just order food now and just have it sent up to the room, but were told the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. The room was very nice... Until we discovered we couldn't get the room above 62 degrees because the heater didn't work. I know normally, given the typical weather here in september that wouldn't have been an issue, but that night it got down to the 50s (go figure). Made for a very miserable night trying to take a hot shower at 1 a.m. to warm up a little, only to be met with nothing but cold water even after leaving the shower running for 10 minutes. Didn't help that the rooms don't have a phone to call down to the front desk combined with me having left my phone down in the car. Woke up to the same issue around 5:30; so, we decided to go down to breakfast a few minutes early and stop by the front desk. The man didn't seem to worried about our night once learning we were only there for that night and checking out in a few hours, which was extremely disappointing considering the amount of money we paid for a suite. And although we will never be returning in the future, the breakfast, was absolutely perfect and I do recommend it. Our omelettes were so delicious and the hot coffee couldn't have tasted any better.

The older & younger lady that checked us in were very cold and acted as if each customer checking in and out were in the way of their personal time. It was atrocious customer service...Also they did not let you know about the $20 per night parking when they charge your card. Terrible communication.

Breakfast was wonderful. Pool was nice. Room was clean. Needs an update for as expensive as it is though. The bed was extremely worn out and uncomfortable. Tried sleeping towards the edge on my side but it would roll me into the middle because the mattress was so worn out. The balcony door was very very difficult to open & very loud. Parking was insane, had to park quite far away. Also the elevator had issues stopping on our floor. We had to push the up button to get an elevator and go up then back down.

Well, I got to my room. I thought everything was fine and the carpet by the bed was wet. Come to find out the person the day before overflowed their tub and it came in on my side. It had a smell to the room and the carpet was wet. Also when I reserved this room, I called to make sure I could get a shuttle to the rental car and they assured me they could get me there. Then when I go out this morning, they tell me no that they have taken me back to the airport and I have to get a shuttle from the airport to the rental car . Very disappointing.

Gentleman (M) front desk was rude & vindictive. Called multiple times but never answered. Called embassy customer service line to get assistance. Once connected to front desk he called my husband a liar & said we never tried to communicate with him unfortunately the call log don’t lie on his phone which shows the multiple attempts of calls but still was being called a liar and he wasn’t going to deal with a liar and hung up on us. Completely unprofessional and rude towards a person with a medical disability that was needing assistance but ended up sleeping on the airport floor & denied refund. Hotel has misleading information on the website & phone gretting prompt.

The room and hotel were nice overall. However, the a/c wasn’t working very well and we couldn’t get the temperature in the room cool enough for sleeping. Three out of 4 of our family members were awake in the middle of the night because of the issue. I called the front desk to explain and request a fan. They brought up the fan in a timely manner. I also reported this in the morning to staff. They responded promptly, offering a maintenance person to check it out and giving a discount. The customer service was great, but our sleep was negatively impacted. If I’m in the area, I would attempt another stay at this hotel, because of the customer service.

Overall it was a very nice room and very comfortable.
The only complaints I have is I found a roach on my floor when returning one night.
And the pipes in the walls were very liud. The lever to flush the toilet also had a tendency to stick and would still run a bit even when it was up.

The first room the air conditioner didnt work. They moved us to a second room and the air conditioner froze us and we had to keep shutting it off and back on. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work and maintenance had to put a different box on then we could only get Pluto stations. There was animal pee on the carpet in the hallway. Breakfast buffet with omelette station was delicious and included with stay which is very rare these days. Also, having a microwave and fridge was convenient. Finding a working ice machine and beeping smoke detector was annoying but quickly solved.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced! I moved rooms 3 times and I only stayed for 3 nights. The entire 7th floor flooded at some point prior to my stay and you could definitely smell the mold as soon as you walked in to the rooms on that floor. I was apart of a family reunion and everyone who stayed on that floor said the same thing. It gives you a headache, cough, and activates your allergies!
We all know that Texas heat in itself is extremely hot and humid. The air conditioning was not working properly in the whole building. The thermostat read 65 degrees but it was extremely warm. I woke up every night dripping in sweat. I developed a heat rash on my neck and arms!
The grout on the tiles in the bathroom were disgusting. There wasn’t a fan in the bathroom. Only part of the lights in the mirror were working. There was hair in the sink, on the toilet, and on the shower walls. There was rust around the overflow drain because water was dripping from the bathroom faucet causing a yellow stain on the tub floor. The shower head was covered in grime. There was a strange bug in my bar sink crawling around. There were two lights above the bar and one of them was out. The lamp shades were stained and leaning. There was red juice stains all over the carpet. I had a whole in my duvet. Red stains on the fitted sheet. Water stains on the living room desk. Permanent stains on the yellow chase. The remote control in the bedroom was missing its back. HORRIBLE STAY.

Beautiful hotel in a great area. The AC was not working while we were there which made the stay quite uncomfortable. I was assured they were working on it and it would be fixed shortly but it never worked during our entire stay
Also, I reserved a room with two ‘double’ beds which I assumed were ‘queen’. They were not queen size beds and were quite small for both my husband and I together.

I am typically very happy staying at Embassy Suites. This experience was not similar to the other stays I have had. We checked in late Friday evening and were welcomed by a hot room. Over the course of the next 40 hours, I was advised 4 times by 4 different people that the AC had been fixed and just give it a little time to filter throughout the room. Sunday morning at checkout, the temp of the room was the same as check-in. I understand mechanical issues happen, however, 1 of 3 things typically occur - 1. the issue is resolved, 2. an accommodation is made, 3. fair compensation (discount, future travel vouchers, etc) is give. This weekend, it seemed we received promise after promise and excuse after excuse. Additionally, overall the hotel staff was aloof, dismissive, and/ or down right rude. My hope is that this weekend was a very off weekend for this hotel and not typical treatment of their guests.

The location was good, but the hotel was not good at all. The pool area smelled of mildew as well as I was about to see it in the shower area. We have bugs in there as well. The ice machines did not work on most of the floors. Kids were running all over the place in the hallway area.
