Stayed here this last weekend for an overnight trip with my kids. The check in was quick and easy but we were not given any information. We asked about the hotel restaurant for dinner as we were in a rush to make a show time. We were told it “might be quick”. We sat in the bar area for over ten mins before we even saw anyone who worked there. Many other patrons were already waiting longer. None of the other worker for the front wanted to help figure out where the restaurant staff was. We then found our room and walked through a hallway of dirty dishes including full glasses of wine lining the halls. Our room was tidy but not clean. The beds were comfortable. The next morning the halls were still lined with the same dirty dishes. I attempted to take my kids swimming early as they were excited that the pool opened early , but when we got there the water was cold and the room was 68 degrees. Definitely tried but were shivering and cold within minutes. I asked the staff if this was the normal temp and they told me they would alert maintenance. We were told to try back soon , no apologies offered. An hour later the temp was the same and we checked out . The people working tried their best but clearly they are not trained in hospitality and were very very understaffed - which is not their fault .

Shuttle service, brutal. Called from train station, they said it would be 30-40 minutes, after an hour, called back after waiting, and waiting, said it would be at least another hour.If you know the hotel is sold out that day, why have only 1 shuttle driver on. Took an Uber, and empty shuttle van parked at hotel

A very dated facility and exceptionally poor property by Hilton standards.

All the staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. We had a room with an adjoining door which was not designed to muffle noise. The family in the room next door wasn't unusually loud but we could clearly hear the adults and the two young children.

was a pleasant stay. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Comfy pillows and we had a great view of the Albany skyline from our 12th floor room. Service at breakfast was excellent, would stay here again

The bathrooms was very small including the shower. The shower head was stationary and the tub floor was weirdly curved. Water would get on the floor a lot due to the shower head not being movable. The toilet took at least at a couple attempts to flush each time. Everything else was great, really!

Great spot!

It was a great location for waking to places of interest in Albany. The capital building and the Empire State Buildings were 5 minute walk away. Plus Lark street and Washington park were close enough to walk to, plenty of food places and little shops. And Jelly Roll the singer stayed there so you got to figure it’s a good place if famous singers stay there.

Only here for a night but would come back - easy check in, upgraded and clean room, friendly staff

There was no bathroom fan! For a Hilton hotel, i expected more. I got less. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The accommodations arw are not!

Nice hotel, good location

Booked the hotel on incorrect date and no refund or acknowledgement of error. No change or cancellation. I will never book at hilton again. They have the worst customer service ever. I wanted a room on August 2 and Expedia populated august 16th as the date. Was having a terrible trip and extremely tired when I booked the room. Realized it after booking and wanted to revise 8/16 to 8/2 and they wouldn't do so and called expedia for help and no luck there. The worst.

Great view of the city both at night and during the day from the 10th floor.

The staff at check in was less than helpful. Rude and Difficult.

Stains on the floor and wall. Corners of room not clean. Damaged lights around mirror, countertop and toilet damaged. Water pressure non existent. Coffee creamer spoiled/expired. Bathtub stained. Not what I’ve come to expect from a Hilton. Not worth the price. Long lines at checkout.

The town was dead. We took a walk and barely saw any people. Limited to no shopping. Limited dining. Little to see or do.

Great stay

Very confortable beds and central location.

The location is convenient and the staff is nice. However, the hotel is dated and not very clean.

The pool was very dirty and there was no light because the spotlights were not working. And the staff provided poor service But the hotel room was very clean and tidy.

This is not a Hilton calibre property. It is falling apart and I’m desperate need of some attention.

Why is the air conditioning so loud. It’s screaming loud

I picked this hotel because it had a gym and a pool. When we checked in we were told the pool closed at 11pm. We got down there at 10pm and there were no clean towels, the lights were dimmed/almost off, and the pool water even felt cold. Also, the door was being held open with a towel and there was a note there saying that the door lock wasn't working. The gym had very limited equipment and was missing half of their weights. The lighting in the room is terrible. There really aren't enough lights and the ones that are there, the bulbs aren't bright enough. Our shower was terrible it stopped up so bad it was like taking a bath while showering. And the ceiling was peeling terribly. I'm glad I only stayed here 1 night. I won't stay here again. The parking garage is a bit dingy too, I was very surprised by that. And we left the garage shortly after checkout and already our keycard wouldn't work to let us out of the garage. Since they have restaurants on the premises, it doesn't make sense that the key card won't let you exit that soon after checkout. I'd say find another hotel, this one is not worth your money. It definitely wasn't worth mine.

The parking lot was an issue as the machine didn't provide a ticket for checking out. I walked to the front door and the ground was disgusting with gum and dirt at the entrance. The front desk attendant Tina was arguing with a maintenance man when I walked in. She was unprofessional, didn't explain anything about the facilities. I asked her about parking and all she said was that she would handle it, then a couple minutes later asked me if I was parking. Poor customer service. When I paid the $75 amenity fee, she never explained that $20 was for parking. I didn't find that out until I received a text about my room from the property and I had to ask again about parking. The bathroom was dirty, specifically the tub had rust and dirt, the counter wasn't wiped down and even the picture hanging above the toilet had dried splatter marks on it. The wooden cabinet shelving had chips and the bed was uncomfortable. Luckily I was only staying here for 8 hours before I had to get on the road. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel and property were good. I was not made aware that I had to pay for parking - and that should've been mentioned during check-in.

The hotel was not clean, and my room appeared dingy. The staff wasn't familiar with the area, and I kept having issues with my key.

Booked king excutive suite, which we paid more for than a king room. Got to hotel and were informed they didnt have any king rooms. They were going to give us a room with 2 double beds. After some discussion we ended up getting the room we booked. Got to the room and it was clean but very outdated. One of the dresser doors would not stay shut. The cabinet the fridge was in had to be pulled at the top to get the door to close, and there was paint peeling on the ceiling. Definitely not worth the 180.00 sonething a night i was charged. Wish i hadn't used my expedia points to offset the cost down to 141.00. Would not stay again.

While it was convenient that the property is right downtown with parking attached, this room was much less than I expected, having higher expectations for Hiltons. The staff were very polite and helpful, but our room was damp, the toilet was constantly running, some of the toiletries in the shower had fallen off the wall, the floors were NOT cleaned, AND there was a big hole in the closet door. I have worked in high-end hotels for the past 8 years so I have at least some idea of what it takes to run one, it appears to have significant maintenance and housekeeping apathy issues. I'll likely choose not to book Hiltons in the future.

Staff was great. Unfortunately the property is old and falling apart. If it’s not the toilet bowl, it’s the sink or outlets. Peeling paint on ceiling. Was very disappointing
