Location is convenient which is why we stay here annually. We can go to Wilmington or Oak Island, or just around the Southport area pretty easily from this hotel despite pick up traffic and road construction.
The hotels is in pretty good shape, though it might be time for a deep clean in the public spaces and the hallways. Services always friendly and fast. Great Italian restaurant in the parking lot,
The only downside seems to be strange renovations to the bathrooms. It may not be all rooms because I know we’ve had rooms with a standard sliding shower door and normal size sink height. Every now and then, including this last visit, will get one of the bathrooms that has a door that pushes awkwardly in, off center shower handle so you push door in & reach way over & get blasted with cold water when first turning on shower. It’s annoying at most & messier than it needs to be.
Otherwise hotel is fine.

Staff was both courteous and helpful. Italian restaurant next door was excellent and short walk across the parking lot-no traffic. Breakfast at Hotel could be vastly improved though-scrambled eggs were terrible. Boiled egg would of been at least edible.

Beautiful hotel! The lobby and our room were both super nice! The staff was very friendly especially the guy who worked midnights at the front desk, he was very helpful in getting us more soap and towels whenever we asked. Definitely would stay again!

I got to help my husband workout indoors and outdoors( fitness centet and pool). The breakfast had an oatmeal bar with nuts and healthy toppings. The Fire dept came when someone spayed too much Lysol in the room. The breakfast was hot and okay. It was too much carbs for me and not tasty. But we liked our room, the big shower and bathroom was good for my husband who is recovering from foot surgery.

Hotel was clean, breakfast was good with a decent variety, but the front desk employee was not always available and I had to search for her a few times. Property location was close to Walmart and restaurants with easy access. Nice stay for weekend trip. Don’t forget to check out the wildlife beyond the fence of the outside pool, during the day you can see a small alligator in the pond and at night the bull frog sounds are very relaxing.

From the moment we arrived until we checked out the staff was wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Our room was spacious and very clean. Even tho the frig didn't have a freezer it kept not just out drinks and leftovers cold, but also the freezer packs for our cooler.
Somehow we ended up with a handicapped room, but appreciated the extra space and the raised toilet helped my aging knees.
The bed was a little too soft, but thankfully not elevated, which makes it difficult for someone short to get into. I could do without the weighted blanket tho. The AC is quite noisy when it comes on (room 122), but the cooling is excellent.
Lastly the breakfast was less than expected based on the pictures I saw at the booking site, but it'll tide you over.
We'd definitely stay here again.

Expedia stated this hotel was 10.29 miles away from Carolina Beach, when in fact, it was nearly an hour away. We were in town for a Jeep event and that misinformation became an inconvenience for us.

Check in staff was excellent and friendly. I was exhausted from work so went straight to the room. Room was great. Clean, great size. I just could not find the remote for the TV but I was so tired, didn't care! Great overnight spot!

Wonderful front desk staff and room was very clean.
The only issue was the bed. We had 2 queen beds in our room 218. Both were extremely broken in and sagged they should consider replacing beds . Spoke to housekeeping about it and she noted it down. Very very nice woman

We love staying here for the location. Several stays over the past few years and always generally pleasant.
But it’s starting to show the struggle many hotels face since Covid, which is good help. High quality professionals and the ability to keep the rooms truly clean seem to impact many hotels now. Everything in the bathroom needed a deep scrub & I encountered hair that wasn’t ours in sink & top linens.
Used to have common toiletries on the sink, none this time but a single tiny hand soap.
We know daily cleanings aren’t a thing anymore unless requested and we hang our main towels to use twice, but we used to get a daily light clean of emptying trash & collecting any towels not hung up. Not this time…
Lobby & dining & common areas were clean though elevator needed vacuum.
Hopefully it’ll bounce back by next years stay…

The room was spacious and very clean. However, the highlight of our stay was the staff. The staff that checked us in was friendly and very helpful (including give us dinner recommendations). The staff that was present when we checked out was also friendly and they went the extra mile and contacted us to let us know we had forgotten items in the room. The went above and beyond!

The bed was not comfortable for me but my husband ,which is a camper, slept like a log. One of the reviews said hot tub but there wasn't one. The place was clean and staff friendly but to our surprise we came back ti an our uncleaned room.
