The hotel was fantastic. Amazing service , gorgeous landscaping , delicious food , and a great location!!! The front desk ent out of their way to be helpful without being obsequious. I highly recommend choosing the half-board option since the dinner was delicious and well worth the minimum charge .

A truly outstanding Hotel. Beautiful surroundings & excellent staff throughout. Breakfast & dinner on the terrace was a real pleasure. The Hotel is an oasis of calm & luxury. We very much hope to return.

The hotel is well situated near the lagoon and promenade in Maspalomas which we felt was the best resort in Gran Canaria; it is also near the main shops. It is arranged in a number of small two storey buildings throughout gardens so there s never a feeling of many people being around except for the pool area. Service is excellent and there is a high staff to guest ratio so any requests tend to be dealt with promptly and well. The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. The food is very 'Masterchef ' style. It is well prepared and presented, but sometimes we did yearn for a roast and two veg type meal. Having said that they do have a barbecue night twice a week. The only negative is that it can become very busy and a little frantic at dinner. Whilst it runs from 7.00 to 10.30 the vast majority of diners do sit down between 7.00 and 7.15 which does put the staff under pressure All in all a very good hotel which is well run

There is a poolside restaurant/bar where you can have lunch and drinks are available all day long around the poolside. The main restaurant is an open air terrace where dinner is served under the stars. There is an a la cart menu and a daily menu to choose from. Whilst the choice of dishes is not overwhelming the food is excellent and twice a week there is a BBQ style buffet which offers so much choice that the mind boggles! The same goes for breakfast, you name it and it is there. The best thing about the hotel is that it is small with just over 100 rooms so it is much more intimate unlike some of the neighbouring hotels that sport in excess of 1000 rooms! It’s difficult to find fault with the place our only comment would be that the after dinner evening entertainment could be better.This is a hotel for people who just want to chill beside the pool and be pampered. It is expensive in comparison to other hotels but it is rated as the best on the island and ultimately you get what you pay for.

A very enjoyable stay. The hotel is well run by friendly helpful staff throughout. Everything seems effortless for guests. We stayed in a standard room which was very comfortable. Restaurant and poolside bar/café great. Although you are just minutes from the beach/dunes/shopping/cafe's and restaurants, when you're in the hotel and grounds you feel you're in a very secluded part of the Island.

Outstanding attentiveness of the hotel personnel; delicious , high quality breakfast and dinner ; nicely organized Xmas dinner; the spa with the salt thalasoterapy pool and saunas is definitely worth a visit; enough water and fruits in the room ; nespresso machine in the room; but we had ants in the room

The hotel itself is so beautiful, the gardens and birds being spectacular, and all the facilities were wonderful. The spa is amazing! But the best part is the staff, 100% of whom were just perfect, their attitude, friendly demeanour and apparent happiness was a joy to be within the care of, and they made sure every detail was covered. I can't remember staying in a better hotel, anywhere, really.

The first moment we walked into the hotel the staff were very friendly and welcoming, our room request was accomdated and throughout our entire stay the service was first class. All the staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms were exceptionally and beautifully decorated. The food was fantastic, very varied and the restaurant layout was so nice. Lovely views sitting outside every night. We would absolutely visit this hotel again.

Excellent, a class act.Great service,very good food,outstanding breakfast buffet.Good fitness centre,first class spa and thallasso pool as well as large main pool.Only disappointment was that we booked through hotel.com a first floor room with balcony but apparently this was not communicated to the hotel and was not available on arrival. The preferences we had given to hotel.com were also not given to the hotel.Disappointing and we told hotel.com but received no reply.Perhaps better to book direct.

This hotel is super. The staff are super efficient and friendly. The food is delicious. The hotel is spotlessly clean and gardens are beautiful. Everything about our stay was amazing.

We were extremely pleased with all aspects of this hotel from the pool to the marvellous gardens.The rooms are very discrete,the staff meticulous and half board represents Excellant value. Located within easy walk of the beach and quality shops this hotel is right up there with the best. A return visit for sure.

It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. The highlight for us was the food. A fantastic range of fruits for breakfast, and mouth-watering five-course meals in the evening with a great range of wines. We liked the peaceful and relaxing ambiance of the pool area. There are several walks in the vicinity of the hotel and several good eateries down by the sea also.

We really couldn't fault La Residencia. the staff were efficient and charming. The food was varied, light and delicious. The hotel is extremely well run and well kept and the spa and swimming facilities are good.

This hotel is expensive, but for us worth it. We have stayed her 5 times over a few years, it is not a family hotel, you hardly ever see kids (bonus for us) and a great place to unwind. Rooms are large, impeccably clean and the pool area is fantastic. Not a large hotel, pretty sedate and quiet. Food is Good, but on our last visit we thought they were trying too hard, style over substance. A lot of the guests never leave the hotel, treating it like a cruise ship on land. After dinner there is always some basic entertainment. Other guests can be quite snobbish if like them you are not wearing the a jacket for dinner etc, we just ignore and laugh at them! Will go back

We found the staff to be very attentive and helpful. The food - breakfast through to dinner were of the highest quality. Will return again very soon.
