Regular visitor for weekend breaks. hotel is excellent. leisure facilities also excellent.

The disabled lift was dirty and never cleaned during my two day stay. The flags from the lift to the entrance were wobbly. Reception was unwelcoming and impersonal. Bar was noisy and food expensive. Breakfast had few healthy options

Had a few issues when checking in.

Hotel was great. Sone areas starting to look a little rundown. Shower needs a larger piece of glass its impossible not to get the floor wet. No plugs by the bed for phone charging. No conditioner in shower if that matters to you. Tv didnt work when we got there and i had to fix it myself very dusty behind the tv. Other than that the hotel is great, restuaunt and starbucks in the lobby, very convenient. Would stay again

Poorly maintained, indifferent staff and feral guests. Our room seemed to have electrical problems as most of the lights didn't work. The receptionist was unable to move us and promised they would be fixed the next day. They never were, so we navigated the room at night with phone torches. This revealed an unidentifiable brown liquid stain on the carpet, a mixture of pink and black moulds in the bathroom, cracked and uneven tiles and chipped/cracked fixtures and fittings. Sleep was disrupted by feral children running laps of the hotel corridors shouting after midnight, then drunk guests trying to find their rooms. Breakfast was ok but not well replenished. As it was a weekend we had the "bonus" of free parking, but I can't believe they have the brass neck to charge paying customers to park at the hotel on weekdays, bearing in mind this is on an out of town office/industrial park not in the town centre. Staff were generally indifferent an obviously fed up of dealing with a string of complaints from unhappy guests (we heard several other complaints about noise and poor service). This was my first stay at a Village Hotel and it will certainly be my last!

We didn’t arrive until late at night could still get drinks at the bar but 3 soft drinks were £10 which I thought was a lot,the room was fine but there were a few stains on the carpet. We scan the voucher in our room for breakfast which was £10 each.

Self-Service Check-In, but with a very helpful staff member to assist with any questions or issues. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable with a huge bed! The food and bar was great. For a one night stay, I would certainly recommend, and if you like a swim, there is a good size pool and also a gym.

Bed was comfortable, food was nice, staff were very friendly, the gym was well equipped. It was very hot weather when I stayed, the rooms are not temperature controlled, was provided with a fan, which was very pathetic and extremely loud

The hotel check in was easy, the gym facilities were excellent, the buffet breakfast was terrific and the staff were friendly and professional. All round excellent experience.

Nice property with plenty of parking. However the hallway and rooms can do with being modernised

Was there for a wedding and they were really friendly and sorted any of our needs out. Really clean rooms and very homely we did not want to leave

Nice clean room , bed a little hard for us went to bed about 11pm birthday party on in function room music was load in our bedroom.

Stayed here a few years ago and the hotel has not aged well . The place is in need of a total refurbishment. Dust everywhere in the room ,battered bathroom doors and just a general feeling that this hotel has seen better days. Room description promised air cooling ,which a I thought was air conditioning - but it definitely isn't . They provided a Dyson Cooling fan ,which does not do the job on one of the hottest days of the year. On the plus side,the bed was very comfortable,room was quiet and the TV was a great size ( although all the Sky channels didn't work!).

A really nice hotel, with a carvery just over the road so a good choice of places to eat but off the beaten track if you need more

Good place

The room wasn’t as per the photos. No sofa in the room and no walk in shower, just a bath with rusty handrails. Not what we expected from an executive room, we have stayed at the village many times. On check in they tried to charge us again for the room.

Perfect for motorway access; minutes to Bury town centre. The staff here also make the difference; superb .

Initially the room was horrendous. Very damp and smelly. I reported to the lobby and they moved me immediately Very friendly staff. I will stay again

Room was lovely and clean. Loads of space and the shower was nice. Not a great view it was a wall though. The bed wasnt comfy me and my partner both have sore backs but id say its down to having 2 beds pushed together. Was kept up until after 1am with other noisy guest but it is what it is.

Very clean room and beds very comfortable. Shower was amazing ! Bar staff very friendly and the food was very good. I was not keen on the check- in at reception. I prefer a more personal service not a machine which could not find my booking. But overall I would return as the room was excellent

Helpful staff, had a couple of minor issues during our stay but the staff were quick to respond and resolve the issues. Free, safe parking during our stay was a bonus. Easy access to major routes but quiet location. Pool was excellent.

Great stay, staff very welcoming and helpful. Food was lovely. Room was lovely and clean, beds super comfy. Plenty of parking, easy to find. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice stay comfortable rooms

Was staying on a business trip. Had a good hour of swimming in the large pool then steam room and sauna. The changing area is under renovation so was a bit confusing on how to get to the pool after changing but I am sure it will be great once completed. Had the hot tower of chicken wings and strips with nachos with a couple of beers, great food and service. Will stay again

The staff really helpful, breakfast was good .the pool gym and other facilities excellent but the hotel in general eas looking a bit tired.

I love the size the pool and the friendly service

The stay was very comfortable and the room had everything you would need! Only thing is that the double bed did not really have a double mattress. They had actually cobined 2 single ones which made it a bit uncomfortable.
