Warm friendly and helpful staff

We were a demanding group of 12 staying 3-4 nights in mid July. From the moment we walked in we realised that we had made the right decision to both stay and eat there. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were cooked to order with popular choices being: granola with fruit and yoghurt, french toast with fruit and avocado smash on seeded toast. All excellent. Dinner is sophisticated Indian fare with interesting and unusual options. We had dinner twice and even with a group of 12 the service was spot on with food arriving at the same times. The rooms are simply furnished but are quiet and comfortable. The shower worked well and there is a ready supply of tea, coffee and milk. The location is very convenient with ample parking. It's a new venture for the owners who are both focused on making your stay a delight.

This recently rebranded hotel under new ownership has seen bedrooms completely revitalised. Our own room had a wonderful view of Bangor Pier and the Menai Straight looking toward Beaumaris. The breakfast menu is fixed with a little flexibility but really does not cater for diabetics or those with dietary needs. In the evening the restaurant serves an Indian based menu again with limited dietary options. There are Italian or Pub options available locally. A great stay with happy, approachable and helpful owners and staff.

Nomi has been fully refurbished and is a great place to stay. Had a very tasty meal in the evening as well. Very polite and attentive staff.

Great after a last minute stay. because i messed up the dates elsewhere. we tried here. and we so glad we did. it was perfect from location to room. just a shame we didnt hae time to try the food but it smelt delicious

Great location, easy access to the town.

Lovely staff but we had to wait 10 minutes to have any arrive at reception to sign us in. The woman was so busy she forgot to tell us where to go to find our rooms before rushing off again. And no one came at all when we were signing out when we rang the bell.

Wonderful stay! Delicious Indian restaurant with excellent service from the owners

I booked three rooms for my son and his family in January and I was told by email two weeks before their stay in May that the hotel had changed hands in February and it was under refurbishment and that the bookings were cancelled. Luckily I managed to book a property on Beaumaris for them. This is why I have given ratings of one star, if there was an option to not give any stars I would have chosen that

One word dirty, Black mold inside windows, smells of must In bedroom, Friendly staff , Overall the dirt on walls and windows in room took away from the stay 1 star hotel at best

We’ve stayed here before and it has the most beautiful views of llandudno, menai straits and anglesey and all the way up to the Thomas Telford bridge. Bangor pier is delightful and is a true Victorian pier in its original state. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we had an evening meal which was excellent too. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem

Staff are amazing - breakfast staff very cheery and accommodating :) Amazing Laundry service - very affordable.

We enjoyed our stay here..great location with a view out across the bay and pier. Room was clean and quiet..if a bit faded in places. Cooked Breakfast was huge..double everything including fried bread. All fresh and properly cooked. Tried scrambled egg on toast on our 2nd day but it was a bit overcooked. Staff all friendly and helpful. Room is on 2nd floor and no lift ..but there is parking just below.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay..Room was lovely and clean. All the staff were so nice and welcoming.We also had an excellent full English breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone. AAAA

The room with the sea view was beautiful, the staff were very friendly, the place was walkable from the city centre and quiet at night. Note that there was no elevator so prepare yourself for this.

Staff were v friendly and helpful especially at breakfast. Amazing views of the Menai straights and welsh mountains.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Views across the Menai Strait was fantastic. Close enough to the town centre to wlak in and out.

We stayed for 3 nights at beginning of November. All okay, the steps going up to our apartment didn't have sufficient lighting for night. So we had to be a bit careful in the dark, especially when walking down. Needs improving. Otherwise all okay, and would go again.

There was not alot of parking spaces, had to park about half a mile up one of the side streets. Bed was solid. Carpets were dirty and loads of cobwebs around light shade and corners of the room. Mould on the cushions.
