Very nice staff and small place but cozy, clean, and comfortable. The king bed room is huge and air conditioner is excellent and super silent.

The room was great, exactly what I expected and nice. Nothing lavish or opulent but was very nice. Very nice shampoo and toiletries
The breakfast was AMAZING and I really really really value that. The nook is very cute and the food was to die for.
Check in and check out was seamless, I didn't talk to a single person and had no issues. Which is super nice for quiet solo travel.

Nice. Clean room. There is no elevator: this should be made clear in their advertising. The continental breakfast is minimal with too many pre-packaged items. Staff was friendly.

Very good value for the money. The room we were in was super clean, spacious, and most of all felt so warm and welcoming. The bed was just the right amount of firmness, and linen smelled fresh. Check-in was a breeze and check-in lady was very friendly. Makes you feel very welcome and appreciated.

It was a last minute stay in the area. The staff was very friendly. The room is pretty basic , but fine for the price. The bed was not very comfortable.
The continental breakfast had avocado toast which was sweet !

Nice hotel. A little noisy during the day. A leaky shower head kept me up. Could use some hooks on bathroom door. Very nice staff. Good breakfast.

at check in I found out that my card was already charged before my arrival even that I marked choice " pay at check in." and on top of that I was overcharged by 30$ (double taxed). which if I did not caught , I would not be refund.
Room was pretty clean , but someone definitely used my bathroom before me, because I found drops of urine and one black hair on the toilet, so I had to clean and disinfect that. Split unit AC did not work properly,and I know how to use it because I have exactly the same one in my house, it was very humid in the room, so much that even the sheets felt wet.

Slept probably less than 2 hours due to the noise at night of people coming/going and the wooden floors/hallway is an echo-chamber.

The property was very convenient and comfortable. I arrived a little early and they were very accommodating. The only reason I didn't give 5 is my room was on the second floor near the stairs/housekeeping closet and at times was noisy. Also there seemed to be a plumbing problem with the shower fixture, so there was a constant drip. I wrapped a towel around it to drown out the drip. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. I loved that it was walking distance to Smith College and downtown Northampton. Breakfast was adequate and gave lots of options.

Stayed for Arcadia Folk Festival. Next to Smith College. Quiet, clean.
Good breakfast, had gluten free options (Udi).
Real oatmeal with assorted topping, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, maman jelly, Justins PB, mini egg bites, good coffee.Room was nice size, pleasant decor, good shower. Cookies at front desk. So many restaurants in town.

This was my second stay at the Ellery and it did not disappoint. Excellent mattress, very clean, extensive breakfast & snack options included. The Ellery has the easy in & out parking and access options of a motel, yet has elevated amenities. A 15 min walk to downtown NoHo, yet across the street from Smith.

Like others said the appearance on the pictures was not that of a motel, but it was fine and they actually converted it very nicely. Little bit awkward smell, so bring your diffuser along. The floor inside the room was slippery for some reason although it’s the same floor as in the hallway. Maybe they use a different cleaning solution. Overall clean and pleasant. Water and coffee available throughout the day. Bit overpriced which was probably a result of them being one of the few options in the area and knowing there is a conference going on.

The location is in a beautiful part of town. The bed was clean & comfortable. I would have rated it excellent but we had nowhere to put some of our clothing except a shelf over the closet. Also, we had a toddler in the room above who woke early each day & ran around on the hard floors

Smart and accessible and Friendly staff. Such a nice departure from the norm! Rec room and kitchen/snack area gets a bazillion stars. And u can visit ANYTIME! So good. Above average coffee 24/7. Breakfast is just right. Grounds and common areas need a bit more TLC. Place was spotless. Room was sooo quiet and mattress superb

Very spacious room and comfortable bed.
Could have used a carpet or throw rug for the hard floor. When we arrived there were no towels in the room and there was a wet wash rag hanging on the shower rod.
TP holder was in need of repair as it was falling off the wall. Bathroom was tight. Lights and AC units were not user friendly.
Breakfast was quite good though.

We enjoyed the location very much. Walking distance from everything in Northampton. And the Ellery has a lot of charm. We also enjoyed the common room for breakfast and coffee. Great stay !
