The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Had an oversized vehicle and could not park in the hotel garage facilities; however, street parking was easy and the hotelnaturally did not charge any parking fees.

We loved this hotel! Everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful! Location is perfect, rooms are huge and having a full kitchen was terrific! It felt like we had borrowed a friend’s apartment for the weekend!! Will definitely come back! We love Old Town!! Le Refuge is our favorite restaurant and going to DC on the Metro was so easy!!!

Stayed for 3 nights and AC kept breaking down. Such an inconvenience having to call maintenance at wee hours while 3 young kids asleep. Staff were Responsive but ac kept breaking down. Requested for another room but none was available.

I have stayed in many a hotel in my day and used to work in the industry at the Four Seasons. I can say this is by far the cleanest and quietest hotel I've ever been to. Not to mention the best hotel service from David A. at the front desk which is what you'd expect at a five diamond hotel. His kindness, engagement, and patience is incredible. I'd HIGHLY recommend. Not to mention the rooms are HUGE. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This hotel was very clean however I found it very strange that we received all white towels and washcloths, except for one oddly black washcloth It was a little offputting that in the fact that we were some of only a few non-Caucasian guests but I will say everyone was very polite and helpful here the first day. The continental breakfast was excellent and the second day it was good. They had an issue in the kitchen area where they couldn’t cook so they were no eggs and some other items that were available the first day, but they still had variety of things to choose from. We were literally minutes away from the MGM casino, Tanger outlets and National Harbor stores I would recommend if you were staying here for more than one night or if you think you will need snacks I would get whatever you need before you come to the room because there is a Whole Foods up the street however I am not sure what time it closes and if you like adult beverages if you’re not familiar with Virginia Liquor separate from beer and wine so you may want to stop somewhere on the Maryland side and get what you want before getting there although we did find a store to get what we wanted while we were here but this nice hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway to go shopping and hit the casino

The Residence Inn was a wonderful choice for a quick getaway to Old Town Alexandria. The rooms were great and clean, the staff was amazing: we got a complimentary upgrade, had a pack and play brought to our room for our infant, and were treated with the utmost care. We also used the shuttle service and the complimentary breakfast, both were also amazing.

This is my favorite place to stay. Great location and the staff is always nice. My last visit, I thought my check out date was the day after so needless to say I received a call stating they were there to clean the room and my belongings were still in the room. They were very cool and accommodating about it and did not charge me for being late.

For the cost of the room, the parking lot view was disappointing. Parking was $40/night additional for garage. That or park on the street. Otherwise, great location for Old Town, VA

Great location and hotel was very nice !

From the time I checked in Pam and another young gentleman were prime examples of the best customer service. I did not get his name, but he even asked me the next day how was my event. He was at the other side as I was checking in. They both greated us every time we entered the lobby.

The staff at this hotel was beyond friendly and accommodating. They greeted every guest with a smile and went out of their way to help us feel welcome and comfortable. We even had to extend our stay a night because of a canceled flight, and they were glad to help us sort that out. The breakfast was hot and fresh every morning. The only slight negative is that the room decor is somewhat dated and could use a refresh, but overall, we had an excellent stay!

Location and staffs

The air conditioning unit in our room needs to be replaced! I reeked of mold! Then we accidentally turned on the heat and our entire room smelled of Burt garbage, everyone was gagging! It is not ok for your health to be in those conditions, we called for a new room but they did not have one available.

I don't think I have stayed in a friendlier hotel. Everyone member of staff offered a welcoming "hello" whatever the time of day. I think the rooms are better than the photos imply - i was bit nervous of depressing colours and wear and tear. My own negative feedback would be that the shower over the bath lacked pressure (leaked into the tub via the tap) and the air conditioning on the loud side (but very welcome).

Great hotel! I've stayed there twice & love it. Lots of space in the rooms, clean, great service & close to the DC Metro. They also have a shuttle that will take you within a mile of the hotel, which is great for getting to Old Towne Alexandria. Just a couple of blocks from the trolley if you prefer a walk. Wonderful kitchen area in the suites too.

Overall good stay. Unfortunately some very unruly guests were screaming and talking out loud in the hallway and woke us out of sleep around 1 am. Front desk was called. Security was to address the situation. Took a while to stop. Around 3 am, the same occurred once more. This time I let it go.

The nearby Whole Foods plus having restaurants in walking distance were huge pluses. For us, dog friendly & plenty of safe walking areas. Only complaint is not being more transparent about parking fee.

Lovely staff and a beautiful breakfast which changed a bit daily.

I stayed two nights to visit family in the area. The Hotel was spotlessly clean, the room/bed comfortable and kitchenette well equipt. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I have absolutely no compaints and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great modern hotel in Old Town. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Two blocks from free trolley pickup.
