Front desk staff was very nice and quick! Love the inside of the hotel and the amenities. Rooms are smaller than most hotels these days, but didn’t mind at all. The bed was a little rough. May need to change out some mattresses.

Overall, nice place. All staff were excellent excellent but lots of drinking by guest and dogs barking. Continued noise from children slamming doors late at night. We should have requested another room!

The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast offerred was better than just a continental breakfast and the dining area was nice. Pool area was nice, but the water was so cold that we could not get in. Its also very shallow. I suggest bringing your own pillow as theirs are small and hard as rocks once you lay on them. Overall, a decent experience.

Toilet ran off and on all night and breakfast was mediocre. Wanted to go swimming but the pool was ice cold.

This property needs demolition or updating- the popcorn ceiling, the wear marks on the furniture, mirror frame, etc., the bathroom tile, the stained tub, etc. Also, I could feel dirt/debris on my feet when I walked, and there was a plastic flosser on the floor, so it apparently hadn’t been vacuumed. The mattress closer to the door sagged when you sat on it. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I had to request a room change because of a baking dog, and they obliged.

It’s not a fancy place, but a great stay for the price we paid. And the breakfast was awesome! (Waffle maker, scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal options, toast/bagels/muffins, fresh fruit, variety of juices) My husband was especially impressed with the water pressure in the shower.

Wow! What a great place! All staff was incredibly friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Easy access on and off of interstate. Couldn’t hear the traffic from our room. Walking distance to several restaurants. Room was extremely clean with an abundance of pillows and bath towels. WiFi free. Cable television with several channels for children. All staff treated us courtesy and kindness. Cookies in dining area from 8-9 pm. Pool clean. Breakfast bar 6-9 am. Planning to stay again and trying to link up with other hotels in their chain of hotels.

The pool was not operational when we arrived. We booked this hotel specifically because of the pool, only to be told it was not working.......their solution was that we could use the pool at a nearby hotel, we opted not to do that since we were not staying at the nearby hotel, it just felt off.... Keep in mind, this place has both exterior and interior rooms, so they are doors connecting the rooms......glad we brought our door guards with us to secure both the entrance door and the connecting door......

Have stayed many times as it’s a good halfway point of my drive. Everything great as usual, highly recommend this hotel!!!!

We stayed one night and everything was fine. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning. Would stay here again on our way through.

Easy to check in and bring in luggage. Friendly staff and very helpful as how to enjoy Cape Girardeau. Very large and attractive dining room.

This hotel was fantastic! I will stay there every time I need to go to Cape Girardeau. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about my stay.

Amazing hotel price was great, and really enjoyable our stay!

The room was clean and adequate with all of the amenities mentioned. The issue came when we were put in a pool side room. We were not aware the pool stays open until 10-11pm so there were a ton of screaming kids right outside the door which ultimately ruined our night and made it impossible to sleep. If you’re traveling with kids looking for pool fun this would be a great stop, if you want sleep DONT.

Love the meeting areas, pool, and game tables. Just wish there was a outside seating area for smokers.

The cleaning staff needs to get better. The shower had all kinds of hair in it. And the floor felt like it had not been mopped for a long time.

Just looking for an overnighter with my grandson (5 yo) before we go camping. This looks like a cool place to stay normally! The pool inside the courtyard looked great and kids were swimming! The breakfast area and food itself was a nice spread! I missed the pool table on floor 2, but I could hear it. Rooms were really cold and everyone at the desk was nice! After a long day of driving and sweating in this heat wave- I just wanted to shower… inside the shower was a bunch of long hair, all over the wall, which I didn't see until I got in. Last thing I want to see is someone else’s hair all over. If hair was in the shower, where else would it be. Of course thats all I thought about while I was there. (Cleanliness) There were 3 Disney channels which I was excited about for my grandson, but none of them worked. (Signal lost) I called down to the desk but there was no pick up. Later, when I tried again, the gal who picked up (was very nice) didn't know how to fix it. She did offer to come look at it, but at that point we were both in bed and in pj’s. Floor covering feels not secure, esp by the bathroom. It buckled as you walked on it. A clean bathroom would have earned this stay 4 stars out of 5.

When we first checked in, Karen at the front desk was AWESOME! There were cookies and milk and she directed us about the amenities of the hotel as well as the best place to park based on our room location. The room itself, while small and had some dated fixtures/doors, was very clean. I was thoroughly impressed! We went to the pool area that seemed busy and they were out of towels but that was okay. We used the dollar-to-coin change machine and played a few games of pool in the game area, which was a very nice surprise! My only complaints were that they allowed a large group of teenage boys to roam around for hours unsupervised, or at least the chaperones made no effort to subdue them. Having to call the desk a few times at 11pm to get someone to tell them to please stop slamming doors and running up and down the hallways was frustrating, though not necessarily the hotel's fault completely. Breakfast was well made, clean counters, nice offerings. Upon checkout the girl working with a pixie cut brown hair with black headband and sheer black top under her hotel shirt and no nametag could not have cared less about her job. She was flippant and nonchallant. I asked for a paper reciept and she said she didn't know how to print it and "it's only a summer job", indicating she didn't really care to know how to print. She made some other pretty unprofessional comments about the job and I think that needs to be addressed with her. We definitely will stay again.
