Loved the stay here! Beautiful hotel and staff, location is perfect for walking Grindelwald and surrounding areas.
Had a balcony, stunning to see those mountains all day!
Included breakfast was a nice touch, especially as Grindelwald restaurants are fairly pricey (even for Switzerland).
Would return again for sure, and recommend to friends.

Overall we had a great stay. Joel from the restaurant was extremely hospitable and really went over the top with exceptional service. In general, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. There was plenty of storage space in the room. The hotel is also located very close to the bus stop and to the Grindelwald First cable car.
Things to improve: There was no A/C so windows have to be left open to let in air which led to a lot of bugs getting into the room. We would definitely recommend the installation of net screens. There was also many scuff marks on the walls and ceilings so a fresh coat of paint would provide a better aesthetic. The bath towels were on the smaller size and were rough. There was construction going on during our visit which woke us up earlier than we wanted.

We stayed for two nights and were extremely satisfied with the hotel and it's amenities. The buffet breakfast was great and the staff were superb and helpful on any matter. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Old rooms with very little space to sleep or rest comfortably. The property seems a bit dated. Should update the furniture in the rooms and the size of the small beds. Overall, it is a 3 star hotel at best. With that said, the staff are extremely helpful and kind in planning excursions. It is right next to the FIRST gondola station for convenience. The bus station is nearby as well. Also, the breakfast is extremely well prepared and presented, making it a highlight of the mornings. Lastly, the pool and sauna are warm, clean, and a very relaxing way to end a long day.

Excellent hotel. I cannot praise it enough. From the moment you walked through the door you were greeted by a smiling receptionist. Check-in was quick and easy. The Reception staff were very helpful about where to go and what to do. Directed to our room, we were in shock at how big it was.
The food was exceptional served by informative waiters who served you out on the terrace during the evening. Would I stay again? Definitely.

Great hotel in an excellent position in Grindelwald, just off the Main Street where restaurants are located. Nice room spacious and quiet. Breakfast was the best plenty of options. Great staff pool was large overall very impressed.

Solo traveler for 3 nights in Grindelwald. Comfortable, modern, clean room with very nice bed and shower. I booked to have a balcony with mountain views and would definitely do that again. Lovely to sit out there in the late evening and watch the sun go down on the mountain. Use the hotel’s shuttle to and from the train station if you have heavy baggage (just call them before you’re arriving). Fantastic staff. Amazing location. No complaints.

Very nice hotel, good location and good breakfast. Staff very nice and friendly, specially Vera and Cristiano. We stayed in a corner room, with a large porch and great montain views. Nice spa, with montain views as well.
The only thing we didn't like was the shower, with a handdouche and no curtins. The bathroom was all wet and the douche didn't stand still.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff was very friendly at every level. We do not have a single negative thing to say. The property was well maintained, and the facilities were clean and in good operating condition.
The balcony was spacious and provided excellent views. The breakfast and dinner setups were very good and had great food and service.
The pool, hot tub, sauna, and spa experience were next level. The pool is huge and had a great water spout to beat sore neck, shoulder, and back muscles into relaxation.
It was very clear to us that every employee we encountered, took pride in their job. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was very nice. We would defintely stay there again the next time we visit. Also the location was great and close to the train station as well as the Firstbahn.

I highly recommend booking a room with the mountain view in advance, because the hotel is busy most the year and upgrades are likely rare. It's totally worth the extra price for the view. The pool area was pleasant. I really enjoyed the sauna, swimming in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the mountains. Breakfast was good with enough options, and dinner was fantastic. It costs 30 CHF for a 5 course meal, which is a bargain for this town, because most restaurants will charge you 25 CHF or more just for an entree. I will definitely return to this hotel!

it has the free pick up service, so we could get to the hotel so easily. we had big carriers, so pick up service was pretty nice! hotel provides free breakfast, it was so much great. the bed was really comfortable, place was so quiet. the location was good, only 7mins from the train station! strongly recommend
