I was impressed with this Motel 6. The rooms were new, clean and spacious. Their management also seems to maintain the building with professionalism. Things are taken care of quickly and efficiently, and I see their staff cleaning even the exteriors of the buildings in a systemic way. Location is not glamorous, but close and convenient to everything in the area. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Our room was clean, and had plenty of room. The bed was older, but we slept well. The hotel was in a convenient location and close to some good restaurants. It was an affordable price, especially compared to all the other hotels that were charging double rates during the university’s family weekend.

My husband and I stayed for a quick night on a roadtrip. We were only there for about 6 hrs, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money. It was fine, but not great. Compared to a super 8 motel we stayed in recently, this motel 6 was a major downgrade from that similar hotel group. This one was very old, very dingy, and smelled or cigarettes. The bed was comfortable enough, but the wall were paper thin, so we didn't get a lot of sleep. You could hear the persons phone vibrate in the room next to us. That's how thin the walls are. It was fine for a quick stay, but we will probably stick with Super 8 next time for a step up in quality and free breakfast for almost the same price.

Could not get into the building at any of the outside doors using my room key. Many of the tenants had their doors open. People outside the building were homeless people. Very sketchy area. Being it was us 2 women we didn’t feel safe staying there. So I asked for a refund and we found somewhere safe to stay.

Out room was very run down. The sink had many cracks in it, the bathtub drain didn't work (couldn't get the water to stay in), bathtub had a large plastic waterproof patch on the side of it, and the over cleanliness wasn't what I was expecting.

Just okay. Nothing to justify the over $100/night price

Microwave in the room, but would have preferred a coffee maker. Bed springs a little squeaky.

Good hotel. Parking is weird. Great a/c! Pricy but Duluth is crazy busy on beautiful fall weekends so it makes sense.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The stairs and hall were dirty and gross? The shower curtain rod was hardly attached to the wall and would not hold the curtain up. The room was dirty and gross. The bed you could feel every spring. The employee at the desk was very rude to the customers before us as well as us. We paid $217.00 for one night which was ridiculous. Breakfast not included. We will not stay here again.

Definitely not worth the $200+ we paid. Bathroom door did not close, ( because of water damage) the bathtub drain was clogged, so when taking a shower, you were standing in a foot of water. A huge gap on the bottom of the entry door. And dead spiders and bugs in the bathroom. On the positive side, the beds seemed clean, you don’t need a night light ( plenty of light from the gap in the entry door) and the bugs were already DEAD 😅👍

I checked in and the person who was working the front desk was one of the rudest person I’ve ever met, pulled into the parking lot first and there were multiple cars on blocks with no tires did not feel safe. I checked in, took one look at my room and left the property went to stay at a different motel and they would not refund my money never again

The hallway had an odor . The check in person not friendly or welcoming . Room was not clean. We spilt some water on the floor and when we cleaned up our spill the paper towel was filthy . There was no coffee pot or Kleenex. Overall a bad e periance , will never choose a motel 6 again. The room was not comfortable. The shower stall was dirty

There was a cigarette burn hole in the bedspread. That was a turn-off considering there was no smoking.

During the high tourist season it was reasonable. There was no breakfast but you could get coffee in the lobby.

Love the rate. Rooms very clean. Staff very friendly. Convenient- can walk to several nearby businesses .

The cleaning staff were very friendly and everything was clean in the room but our room was definitely a smoking room at some time and had been painted. The stench was still there. The place needs further updates for sure but it was in a decent area. The front desk clerk needs some training in public relations because she was not friendly at all upon arrival. It was like we were inconveniencing her..We probably won’t return unless they get rid of the smoke and weed smell from the rooms and hallways.

It was fine but the outside door not locking wasnt reassuring, the fridge was leaky all over our food,the hallways reaked of smoke. Also the vaccuming the hallways at 830 in the morning is very impolite im on vacation id prefer not to get woken up in the middle of the morning. Staff was nice tv was nice shower was nice and hot and bed was comfy. But my review stands

If you are a female or solo traveler, you might want to pick a different place or make sure are in your room before dark, not saying it was unsafe, but just didn’t like the surroundings. Maybe because the place could use some updating. The entrance doorway I used was pretty dirty looking as was the entrance before the lobby. Was woke up at 5:30am to the sound of a barking dog, and again about 6:25am. The price was cheap, you get what you pay for. The front desk people were very nice.

It was short, we got there late at night and left early in the morning, the motel was fine, basic but okay.

The hotel was pretty basic and close to the highway so we could get away early. Room was fairly comfortable but we had issues. Floor was clean around beds but we spotted garbage under beds like crayons and wrappers. Reported to day staff and they did not seem to care. Bathroom had clean towels and was adequately equipped. No mini fridge or coffee maker.

Everything was good other than the fact that I wanted a receipt for my records but they said their printer wasn’t working. She told me that I would get one from Expedia but I have not received one!

Didn't recall booking a smoking room and when I arrived to check in I was told they gave me a smoking room because everything else was sold out. Desk person was a little rude also. They were working away from the main desk at another desk and didn't immediately come over to provide service. When they did, all they said was "Can I help you?" Of course you can help me. I'm standing at the desk waiting to check in. The interaction was rather short and blunt. I can deal with bad customer service, its just part of life. I was more upset by the smoking room as I was traveling with my mother and spending much time in a room that reeked of cigarettes (which it did) wasn't the experience my mother needed. Windows could not be opened so we had to rely on trying to circulate enough air to temper the smell a little. Fortunately we didn't have to spend much time in the room and were leaving first thing in the morning. Also, the entrance/exit door closest to the room was out of service. The area was a little shady so considering the door closest to our room was out of service and because I wasn't comfortable sending my mom walking up and down hallways by herself to get to the room or go to our vehicle I had to get a little creative in getting my mom to/from the room. The individual at the desk when I checked out in the morning was friendly though, so there's that.
