The location is perfect: central but quiet. Our room was VERY small, but had everything needed. Our 'suite' was in the original, old part of the building, and so the floor was uneven and sloped, so that table lamps looked crooked! Our main issue: the queen sized bed was very uncomfortable: soft, lumpy and sagged into the middle; definitely not "hotel quality" = we didn't sleep well.... Dining room staff member was friendly and efficient, breakfast was good! We especially appreciated the shuttle service between hotel and theatre.

Nice accommodation but overpriced

I quite liked it and would be happy to stay there again. Minor quibbles - the A/C blew a cold breeze when it was on but the room warmed up fast when it was off. I couldn't find the right balance. The restaurant/bar's closing time of 8:00 p.m. is a bit early for me.

I wish I could give the hotel a better rating. I think it’s important for old quaint hotels to survive and thrive.The room was fine and the front desk staff was great on the way in. They went out of their way to welcome us since it was our anniversary. The restaurant was ok - nice server and good food. In the morning however we had several interactions with the front desk that were unacceptable for a hotel that charges what it does. Both were housekeeping issues and went unresolved and seemed to be a result of lack of effort- the opposite of what a small hotel should be like!! I hope for future customers the morning staff is better.

Beautiful little inn! Looking forward to staying here again! Rooms aren't very big, but are clean and wonderfully decorated. I think "Charming" sums it up/ Loved that it has the wonderful restaurant attached to it. Restaurant service was a little pokey; that's my only complaint. Shuttle service to the theater was an awesome bonus! Loved it!

Very well appointed and maintained rooms, especially for an older building. Restaurant is exceptional for dinner. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Our stay was very nice. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Hotel was quiet. Also close to restaurants and the theatre.

Slight smell in the hallway and PRN in the room The bath floors could have been cleaner then were founded on our arrival to our room. Other then the above enjoyable stay.

Wonderful place to stay for a theatre weekend. Great bar and restaurant. Food was terrific. Perfect location. Even a theatre shuttle for the festival theatre so no parking concerns! Caleb and Sheri at from desk were amazing. Comfortable room. Very clean. The rose at night was a lively touch considering it was our 40th anniversary.

The hotel is well-located near the city centre and the Festival properties. The staff was very attentive and the accomodation was suitable despite the fact that the hotel is housed in an older renovated facility and consequently our room had has a slightly musty odour.

Situated in an historic building, the hotel has worked hard to make the building accessible. Door operators, ramped entrances and an elevator help to make the hotel and its restaurant accessible. Narrow door openings for most rooms are not practical for wheelchair users, but inducing with other forms of mobility aids will be able to manage. The staff was willing to provide a shower bench for me which whacked me you have a shower in the small shower stall. A wheelchair height desk in reception would improve accessibility. There is one room that is wheelchair accessible: it would be great if the hotel would add more. Staff was professional and accommodating.

My mother and I stayed a night during the Stratford festival. Was a very short walk to the Avon theater and numerous dining options. The hotel is really pretty and staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Stratford for the night.

Lovely, historic inn with modern amenities and a cozy 'flavor'. This is a wonderful place to stay for anyone who'd like to escape the corporate feel of so many hotels and inns while paying a fairly reasonable price. The hotel restaurant is quite nice and all staff are helpful and resourceful. Easy walk to shops and the theatre.

Lovely that this property has some historic relevance, but it also feels like it hasn’t been updated since it was first built. The location is terrific, but the property itself needs an overhaul. I was booked for a 2-night stay and moved to another hotel after the first night because I slept so poorly in the lumpy bed with the air conditioner blowing right by me. The restaurant is mediocre at best. I would not return.

An excellent stay on all counts

Flawless from check-in to check-out, great staff , property and food! We’ll be back for sure for our next theatre outing.

Excellent location and very comfortable room

Caleb was welcoming when we checked in. There was a strange smell on entering the room. The bed has seen better days. One bath towel was frayed and i showed a photo to Caleb. Happy with parking, though, because it is always an issue in the city. Otherwise, we were pleased to have book this hotel.

Comfortable in all respects. Free parking and shuttle service to the theatres were a real bonus. Best in-room coffee I’ve ever had.

Beautiful old hotel in excellent condition! Quiet room, very comfortable bed, nice bath with jets or good shower. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent and reasonably priced restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Kind to our grandkids. Even have vending machine in basement for those late night snacks. Easy walking to our theater. Free parking in lot adjoining. Will come back! ( this was our second time).

We liked the convenient location to downtown, cleanliness, and ease of administration. The room was too small for a king size bed and the hot water was way too hot.

Enjoyed our stay. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms this time. It was quiet and clean. I do think the rooms need some updating. In particular the beds. The only other issue is the low water pressure in the shower which is not something that they probably can do much about. Will return particularly due to the convenience in of location.

We stay at The Parlour Inn every time we visit Stratford. Wonderful and charming facilities, immaculate rooms and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the Avon Theatre. They have a free shuttle service to Festival Theatre. See you in 2025.

Loved that the hotel was so close to all of the theatres. The furthest one was only a 30-min walk!
